![]() MONTREAL, Kanado (Junio 14, 2016) – Groupe Yvon Michel (GIMNASTIKEJO) and Gestev are proud to officially announce, “SHOOTOUT”, the next fight for power-punching Adonis “Superman” Stevenson, Julio 29 at Centre Videotron, a presentation of Videotron in association with Mise-O-Jeu. This event is presented as part of the prestigious “Superegaj Boksaj #?ampiono” (PBC) Serioj, to be broadcast live in the United States, and on Canal Indigo in Canada.
Stevenson (27-1, 22 KOs), who established himself as one of the most powerful pound-for-pound fighters in the world, will defend his World Boxing Council (WBC) and lineal light heavyweight (175 pound division) title for the seventh time, against the dangerous, WBC Ne. 9 rated Thomas “Top Dog” Williams (20-1, 14 KOs).
“I am very happy to get back in the ring for my next fight, which will be held July 29 in the superb Centre Videotron of Quebec, against Thomas Williams Jr.,” Stevenson diris. I will demonstrate that, like fine wine, I am even better with age. Even though I haven’t boxed for 10 Monatoj, I’ve never left the gym and I’m willing to defend my crown.”

MONTRÉAL (Septembro 24, 2015) – Monda Boksa Konsilio (WBC) Ne, 2 rated contender Eleider Alvarez (18-0, 10 KOs), a former Colombian Olympian who now lives in Montreal, and WBC No. 1 Konkuranto Isaak Marko (24-2-2, 10 KOs), of Malawi, will face each other this November in a WBC light heavyweight final eliminator bout to be staged in Quebec.
Yvon Michel Kaj Kathy Duva, Respektive, promoters of Alvarez and Chilemba, yesterday finalized a deal to secure this much anticipated fight, in which the winner will become mandatory challenger for WBC World light heavyweight champion Adonis “Superman” Stevenson, the Haitian native who also lives in Montreal.
“Alvarez and Chilemba are both at the elite level of the light heavyweight division,” said Michel, Prezidanto de GIMNASTIKEJO, “insuring a spectacularly intense fight that will determine the rest of their respective careers.”
“Isaac and Main Events are very much looking forward to the fight and very happy to have come to an agreement with our friends at GYM,” added Duva, CEO of Main Events.
In his last outing this past #A?gusto 15 at Bell Centre in Montreal, WBC Silver champion Alvarez spoiled the undefeated record of tough Paraguayan challenger Isidro Ranoni Prieto, retaining his belt via a unanimous decision victory on a great Superegaj Boksaj #?ampiono card that aired live on NBC Sports.
La Marko, the current North American Boxing Federation (NABA) Senegala, also fought his last bout at Belle Centre, the famed home of the Montreal Canadians. Fighting on the March 14Th undercard headlined by a world championship light heavyweight bout between defending champion Sergey Kovalev Kaj kontestanto Johano Paskalo, Chilemba defeated Russian foe Vasily Lepikhin on HBO by unanimous decision to capture the NABF title.
The exact date and venue of the Alvarez-Chilemba showdown is expected to be announced within a couple of days. The plan is have Alvarez’ stablemate, undefeated light heavyweight contender Artur Beterbiev, fighting on the same card in an International Boxing Federation (IBF) elimination fight.

His opponent will be European super middleweight champion, Andrea Di Luisa, of Italy. “I’m ready and looking forward to being back in the ring. I have not lost my passion and I train six days a week, twice a day,” said Bute (31-2, 24 KOs), who will be in his first fight since meeting Jean Pascal in front of a sellout crowd, Januaro 18, 2014 at Bell Centre.
