Coyle défendra son titre NABA en décembre 11 à Orlando

Orlando, FL (Novembre 7, 2022) – Le champion des poids moyens NABA Connor "The Kid" Coyle défendra son titre contre l'artiste à élimination directe Anibal Cleto Francisco dans une bataille d'invaincus dimanche, Le 11 décembre au Caribbean Royale à Orlando.

La carte a lieu lors de la convention annuelle du centenaire de la WBA, qui se tient au Caribe Royale de décembre 11-14.

Originaire de Derry, L'Irlande du Nord qui s'entraîne à Pinellas Park, FL Coyle 17-0 avec 7 KO. Coyle est devenu le champion NABA en mai dernier lorsqu'il a remporté une décision âprement disputée contre Antonio Todd. Il devait affronter Felix Cash en octobre 8 en Angleterre, mais la carte entière a été annulée après que le participant à l'événement principal Conor Benn ait échoué à un test de dépistage de drogue.

Originaire de Monte Plata, République Dominicaine, de Francisco 10-0 avec 9 de ses victoires venant par KO. En juillet 2, le joueur de 22 ans a arrêté Yeison Gonzalez au cinquième tour pour remporter le titre WBA Fedelatin.

Coyle inspiré par la performance de Katie Taylor

Tampa, FL (Mai 2, 2022) – Comme la plupart de ceux qui aiment la douce science, invaincu poids moyen Connor «The Kid» Coyle était pleinement engagé dans la Katie Taylor–Amanda Serrano lutte.

Serrano a maintenu l'élan au cours des prochains tours alors qu'elle semblait se diriger vers la plus grande victoire de sa grande carrière. Taylor a renversé la tendance de manière impressionnante lors des trois derniers tours du concours, trouver son second souffle et battre Serrano en route vers une victoire par décision partagée.


"Quel combat incroyable c'était - un crédit majeur aux deux femmes", a déclaré Coyle, qui s'est entraîné avec Taylor à Dublin alors qu'ils étaient tous les deux amateurs. "Katie a vraiment dû surmonter beaucoup d'adversité contre Serrano surtout au cinquième tour. Katie a montré un cœur incroyable et s'en est sortie comme une championne. Coyle to face Lopes February 19 in Melrose, MA

Melrose, MA (Février 1, 2022) – Connor “The Kid” Coyle risks his perfect record against Brazilian knockout artist Rodrigo Lopes Saturday, Février 19 at Memorial Hall in Melrose, MA.



Coyle, who is from Northern Ireland but trains in St. Pétersbourg, FL, est 14-0 avec 6 de ses victoires par KO à venir.
The 31-year-old was slated to face rugged contender Guido Nicolas Pitto of Argentina but he was forced to withdraw.



Since suffering his only career defeat, Lopes, 8-1 (7 KO) has been in the gym working on his craft. Team Lopes claims their boxer will be a totally different fighter than the one previously seen since he’ll be competing as a full-fledged middleweight rather than a weight drained welterweight.


The eight round Coyle-Lopes matchup is for the ABF Continental Americas Middleweight title.

Coyle returns to the US; starts camp in Florida

St. Pétersbourg, FL (Janvier 3, 2022) – Undefeated middleweight Connor “The Kid” Coyle is back in the US and preparing for a big 2022.


A perfect 14-0 comme un pro, Coyle trains under Florida Boxing Hall of Famer Jim McLaughlin in St. Petersburg but was in his native Northern Ireland the last two years due to Covid restrictions. Although he trained and ran regularly back home, a return stateside was necessary to get him to the next level.


“It feels great to be back with my team in St Petersburg,” said Coyle, who is married and has a daughter. “I’ve been training alongside Yamaguchi Falcao who is a world class talent and works extremely hard. We’re going to push each other throughout camp. Being away from home and strictly focused on boxing is what gets me into beast mode!"


Coyle’s 2022 begins February 19 against ultra-tough Guido Nicolas Pitto in an eight round contest. Originally from Argentina but living in Spain, Pitto’s 27-9-2 avec 8 gagne par KO. He’s defeated world rated contender Jack Culcay (14-0) and Reda Zam Zam (27-1) while also battling Magomed Madiev (11-0) to a draw. Coyle will be the eighth unbeaten foe Pitto’s faced.


Coyle and Pitto will square off at Memorial Hall in Melrose, MA. With Boston only 10 miles south and New York a few hours down the road, Coyle’s expecting a big turnout to kickoff what he believes will be the most important year of his career.


“I’m excited to be fighting in the Boston area where there’s a large Irish population. I have a lot of fans that already purchased tickets and a bus of supporters will be making the trip up from New York City. The plan is to go out and give them a great performance.”


Coyle’s promoter, Jody Caliguire of Fire Fist Boxing Promotions, is also pleased to have his highly-regarded fighter back in the US and shares the same vision for 2022.

Fire Fist Boxing fighters set for UFC Fight Pass bouts in St. Pétersbourg

Tampa, FL (Février 13, 2019) – Fire Fist Boxing’s Connor “The Kid” Coyle, Willian “Baby Face” Silva and Mark Reyes Jr. will all fight as part of a UFC Fight Pass card Saturday, Février 16 at the Coliseum in St. Pétersbourg, FL.

This excellent evening of boxing is promoted by Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions in association with Rite Hook Promotions.

Headlining the telecast is an eight round middleweight showdown between Coyle and Travis “Dirty Red” Scott.

Splitting time between his native Ireland and St. Pétersbourg, FL, Coyle est un parfait 8-0 avec 3 victoires par KO. He’s become a big draw in the Tampa-St Pete area and most recently scored a sixth round TKO of Danny Pastrana. The talented Coyle has been featured as a prospect to watch out for by media members from both sides of the pond.

Fighting out of Baton Rouge, LA, Scott is Coyle’s most experienced foe to date. The 38-year-old has an excellent 19-4 registre professionnel avec 5 KO. A true veteran of the sport, Scott turned pro in 2004 when Coyle was 14.

Welterweight phenom Mark Reyes Jr of Tampa, FL risks his 0 against fellow unbeaten Rodrigo Tatijewski of Sao Paolo, Brazil in a highly-anticipated six round contest.

The wildly popular Reyes Jr. est 8-0 avec 6 KO. An athletic boxer-puncher, Reyes is coming off a third round TKO of Juan Garces last October and at 22-years-old, continues to improve rapidly.

Tatijewski, who is fighting for the first time in the United States, est 8-0 et a 7 wins by way of knockout. He’s confident of making a major splash by taking out Reyes in front of millions of viewers on UFC Fight Pass.

Junior welterweight Willian “Baby Face” Silva of Plant City, FL by way of Sao Paolo, Brazil challenges rugged Argentinian Juan Ramon Solis in a ten rounder.

Coyle forced to withdraw from October 6 lutte

Tampa, FL (Août 24, 2018) – Connor “The Kid” Coyle was forced to withdraw from his October 6 bout as part of Fire Fist Boxing Promotions’ “Night of Champions” card in St. Pétersbourg, FL.

 

 

 

During his training camp in Ireland, Coyle’s back began to swell and cause him pain. The unbeaten 28-year-old battled through the back problems and continued training. Malheureusement, the pain got worse and aggressively spread throughout his body.

 

 

 

Coyle then checked into a local hospital. Doctors believe he has an inflammatory infection and ran a number of tests. In the interim, Coyle must refrain from training during the next 6 semaines.

 

 

 

“I’d like to sincerely apologize to my fans for being unable to compete,” said Coyle, qui est 8-0 and coming off a dominant stoppage victory in June. “This is a bump in the road and I’ll be back more motivated to focus on another fight soon.”

 

 

 

Jody Caliguire of Fire Fist Boxing Promotions believes Coyle will come back strong when the time is right but is most concerned about his fighter’s current health.

 

 

 

“I feel terrible about this entire situation because Connor is like a son to me,” said Caliguire. “This is extremely unfortunate and Connor needs to get the proper rest to ensure his body is ready whenever he decides he’s healthy enough to return to training.”

 

 

 

Coyle was scheduled to headline for the ABF Continental Americas middleweight championship and a new main event will be announced shortly.

Tampa, Floride – (Août 20, 2018) –In a surprising about-face, Middleweight Connor Coyle has voluntarily relinquished his NBA Intercontinental Middleweight Title and William Silva has voluntarily relinquished his NBA Lightweight World Title.

 

 

 

“We were notified by Coyle’s and Silva’s promoter Fire Fist Boxing Promotions that they have chosen to go a different direction. The Promoter notified the NBA via email in early July. Fire Fist was made aware of champion obligations regarding defense of the belt, resulting in Fire Fist Promotions deciding to voluntarily vacate the titles,” said Damon Gonzales, President of the NBA.

 

 

 

Connor Coyle (8-0, 3 KO) from Derry, Ireland won the NBA Intercontinental Middleweight Title against Danny Pastrana on June 16, 2018.

 

 

 

Guillaume Silva (25-2, 15 KO) from Plant City, Florida won the NBA Lightweight World Title on March 3, 2018 against Rogelio Casarez.
