Unconquered Middleweight Prospect Caleb Plant Returns Oct 31 in Houston

NASHVILLE, TN (October 22, 2015) – Unconquered super-middleweight prospect, Caleb “Sweet-Hands” Plant (10-0, 8 KOs), returns to the ring October, 31, 2015 against an opponent TBA at theNRG Arena in Houston, Texas. The card is headlined by Jermell “Iron Man” Charlo (26-0, 11 KOs) vs. Joachim Alcine (35-7-2, 21 KOs) as Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on NBCSN will telecast the live event beginning at 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT. Plant’s fight will serve as the swing bout for the televised portion of the PBC broadcast.
In his last outing, Plant went 8-rounds for the first time in his career, winning a lopsided unanimous decision against Jamar Freeman. Known for having power in both hands, Caleb was able to drop Freeman in the third round before cursing to victory. Plant’s mindset coming into this fight is to end the fight with a knockout.
“This will be my sixth time fighting this year and I’m learning more about myself with each fight,” said Caleb Plant. “Going the distance in my last fight was something new to me but I proved I can into the later rounds if I have to. To be honest though, nothing feels better than getting the knockout. In this fight I’m going to be more aggressive and let my punches go. Nothing reckless, but heavy bombs will be thrown. A knockout is what I’ll be seeking before the final bell rings.”

Middleweight KO Artist Caleb Plant Returns To The Ring Tuesday Sept 22 on Fox Sports 1
NASHVILLE, TN (September 2, 2015) – Undefeated Middleweight prospect, Caleb “Sweet Hands” Plant (9-0, 8 KOs), makes a speedy return to the ring as he will face an opponent TBA on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the Sands Casino Resort in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on Fox Sports 1 will televise the card headlined by Julian Williams vs. Luciano Cuello. Plant will open up the telecast which begins at 9PM ET / 6PM PT live on Fox Sports 1.
With seven first round knockouts to his credit, Plant, a rising star, is rapidly establishing himself as one of the most feared fighters in the middleweight division. He’s currently riding a seven fight knockout streak, having gone the distance only once in his career.
In his last bout, which took place on August 15, 2015, Plant demolished late sup Zoltan Sera (20-6, 12 KOs) by way of a first round knockout. Look for Caleb Plant to continue with an aggressive style when he steps into the ring on Sept, 22.
“Although I have a few first round knockouts, I really like to take my time and pick my shots in my fights,” said Caleb Plant. “Fortunately, I’ve been able to get my opponents hurt early and get them out of there. I’m prepared to go the distance if I have to, but there is no doubt, if I get my opponent hurt, I’m going for the knockout.”
Fighting on television for the first time in his last outing, Plant is relishing on the fact that his fight will be broadcasted live on Fox Sports 1. Managed by Al Haymon, Plant sees a bright future.

MONTREAL, QUEBEC (August 17, 2015) – This past Saturday at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, super-middleweight prospect, Caleb “Sweet-Hands” Plant (9-0, 8 KOs), remained undefeated with a first round knockout over late sub, Zoltan Sera (20-6, 12 KOs). The bout served as the swing bout for the PBC on NBC broadcast, headlined by Lucian Bute (32-2, 23 KOs) vs. Andrea Di Luisa (17-3, 13 KOs).
Plant sent Sera to the canvas twice before ending the bout with a left hook to the jaw at the 2:19 mark of the opening round. Plant set everything up with a nice jab that helped him time all his power punches. Once Plant saw that Sera was hurt, he went for the knockout.
“I wanted to make a statement with an impressive win and I was fortunate to land a couple of hard shots in the early part of round one that hurt my opponent,” said Caleb Plant. “After seeing him on wobbly legs I went for the kill. Plant will face Chris Herrmann (16-6, 8 KOs) in an eight-rounder, which will serve as the swing bout for the PBC on NBC broadcast, headlined by Lucian Bute (31-2, 24 KOs) vs. Andrea Di Luisa (17-2, 13 KOs).

Bethlehem, PA (June 25 2015)–Saturday night at the Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem, Christian Molina will look to stay undefeated when he takes on veteran Justin Johnson in a 6-round Jr. Welterweight bout that will be part of a 10 bout card.
Molina has established himself as one of the most popular fighters in the Lehigh Valley due to his exciting fighting style and engaging personality outside the ring.
Molina has been working very hard as he prepares for a step up bout against Johnson, who despite his record of 6-8, is 4-4-2 against the 10 undefeated fighters that he has been in the ring with.
“Training has been good. Right now I am just looking to make the weight and be ready for Saturday,” said the 27 year-old Molina.
Molina knows that he has to be at his best as Johnson not only has the experience but also has some physical advantages.
“I know he is 2 or 3 inches taller then I am. We have some good game plans and do what we have to do to win. I know he is a good fighter.”
As mentioned previously, Molina has built a great fan base in the area and they will be out to cheer their man on this Saturday.
“A lot of people come to support me. I really love that and it helps me in the ring. I feel that after a couple more wins, I can become a very big draw as I know that Puerto Rican fight fans get behind good fighters. This is my first six round bout and I know the big fights are yet to come.”
It says even more about how Molina has caught on to the fans as he came here from Puerto Rico just seven years ago.
“I came from San Sebastian, Puerto Rico in 2008 and went to Mendez Liciago High School and graduated from there in 2006. I came here by myself and wanted a future in America. I work in a warehouse to support my boxing. I know nothing is easy, I will continue to work hard and be the best fighter out there and hopefully one day, I can go back to Puerto Rico and fight at home.”
