BROOKLYN (Juni 28, 2016)—Undefeated former two-division world champion Mikey Garcia will return to the ring after a two-and-a-half-year layoff on Jumamosi, Julai 30 on an exciting night of boxing on Showtime na Showtime SANA that is one of the strongest cards ever assembled at Barclays Center katika Brooklyn.

Harrison and Rabchenko will square off for the No. 2 mandatory challenger spot to IBF titlist Jermall CHARLO, who successfully defended his crown on Mei 21, and undefeated contender Julian Williams, who earned the No. 1 mandatory position on Machi 5, both on SHOWTIME. Harrison vs. Rabchenko is the sixth matchup in 2016 between top 154-pound fighters, a lineup showcasing three world title fights and three title elimination matches in one of boxing’s deepest divisions.

 

The combined record of the six fighters on the SHOWTIME telecast is an impressive 162-4-1 na 113 knockouts.

 

An all-Brooklyn showdown between welterweight technicians Paulie “Magic Man” Malignaggi na Gabriel “Tito” Bracero highlights the undercard action on SHOWTIME BOXING on SHOWTIME EXTREME. The 10-round bout is a matchup between a former two-division world champion, Malignaggi, and a fellow Brooklyn native, Bracero, coming off the biggest win of his career when he knocked out Danny O'Connor Oktoba iliyopita.

PHOENIX, THE (Juni 28, 2016) – Unbeaten Mexican-American super-middleweight, David “Red Bendera” Benavidez (15-0, 14 Kos) is eager to stamp his name in the division. Zamani hii Jumamosi at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, Benavidez stopped former undefeated Canadian, Francy Ntetu (16-1, 3 Kos), handing him his first loss of his career. Benavidez, who campaigns at light-heavyweight and super-middleweight, wants to settle in at 168 paundi. With a long road ahead of him, Benavidez is ready for the journey.
“Although I’ve had a few fights at light-heavyweight, but my plan is to win a title at super-middleweight. I have no problem making 168 pounds and that’s where I’ll be making my march up the rankings. I have a lot of work to do, but I set the bar high for myself and I won’t settle for mediocrity. I got my eye on all the champions at super-middleweight. I’m just going to take it one fight at a time.”

VLADIMIR TIKHONOV MAKING PROGRESS UP THE RATINGS LADDER; RUSSIAN IS LUCKY NO. 13 IN WBA

Brooklyn, NY (Juni 15, 2016)– Urusi Vladimir Tikhonov, a super bantamweight contender, is the latest signee to the Dmitriy Salita promotional slate. And it looks like the timing is right for the Brooklyner Salita, with word out that this Russian hitter is making his way up the ratings ladder.
Tikhonov (14-0 na 8 Kos) has entered the WBA world rankings at No. 13.

Promoter Salita has climbed the mountain himself as a fighter, amassing 35-2-1 mark as a professional within the welterweight class. He has kicked off successful fight series in NYC, and now Detroit, and word is spreading that his efforts as an effective promoter are informed by his having experienced what it’s like to campaign in the ring. Salita is planning the aforementioned NY show, as well as a return to Detroit, for the third “Detroit Brawl.”

BELGIAN BOXER ALEX MISKIRTCHIAN GETS FEATHERWEIGHT TITLE SHOT

Brooklyn, NY (Machi 16, 2016) – Even the very best in the business experience setbacks and get faced with choice time. Can I learn from my mistake and turn a negative into a positive?
Alex Miskirtchian found himself enjoying his momentum up the featherweight ladder before he hit a pothole in the road last summer. The Georgia-born fighter with a 26-4-1 mark got caught by vet Cornelius Lock and had to assess himself.

He did so, and licked his wounds and got back to work. The Belgium resident, who has mostly fought in his home-land, rebounded with a win in December and is being rewarded for his perseverance with an IBF intercontinental championship opportunity.

Miskirtchian, promoted by Brooklyn’s Dmitriy Salita, will fight Vireol Simion on Machi 18, for a crack at that crown.

“Alex is fighting for a title but more importantly for a chance to come back to the top of the division,” Neno alisema.

“He learned from his US experience, against Lock, took a break and came back with extra motivation to again make a world title run. I believe Alex will put on one of his best performances in this upcoming fight. He has a great team with manager Alain Vanackère and I believe the result will be a positive one on March 18th.”

The fight against the 19-1 Romanian Viorel will unfold in Bucharest, the capital of Romania, so Miskirtchian will need to fight his best brand of boxing that evening. His promoter, Neno, has faith in him.
