An all-Brooklyn showdown between welterweight technicians Paulie “Hombre Mágico” Malignaggi y Gabriel “Tito” Bracero highlights the undercard action on SHOWTIME BOXING on SHOWTIME EXTREME. IVAN REDKACH vs. TEVIN FARMER:

“I couldn’t be more excited about this fight,” Farmer said. “This is my Barclays Center debut and it is going to be a spectacular performance. I have called out anyone and everyone in the 130- pound division to no avail, so now I’m moving up to 135 to take on Redkach, one of the most feared punchers in the division. Redkach is an aggressive guy and I know he is coming to fight, but there is no way I leave that ring without my hand being raised. This is a fight where I can and I will make a major statement. I’m willing to fight whoever they put in front of me to inch closer to a world title opportunity and Julio 30 is another step in that direction. I tip my hat off to Redkach for giving me this fight, but this is my time to shine.”

PHOENIX, LA (Junio 28, 2016) – Unbeaten Mexican-American super-middleweight, David “El Bandera Roja” Benavidez (15-0, 14 KOs) is eager to stamp his name in the division. Benavidez, who campaigns at light-heavyweight and super-middleweight, wants to settle in at 168 libra. With a long road ahead of him, Benavidez is ready for the journey.
“Although I’ve had a few fights at light-heavyweight, but my plan is to win a title at super-middleweight. I have no problem making 168 pounds and that’s where I’ll be making my march up the rankings. I have a lot of work to do, but I set the bar high for myself and I won’t settle for mediocrity. I got my eye on all the champions at super-middleweight. I’m just going to take it one fight at a time.”

VLADIMIR TIKHONOV MAKING PROGRESS UP THE RATINGS LADDER; RUSSIAN IS LUCKY NO. 13 IN WBA

Brooklyn, Nueva York (Junio 15, 2016)– Ruso Vladimir Tikhonov, a super bantamweight contender, is the latest signee to the Dmitriy Salita promotional slate. And it looks like the timing is right for the Brooklyner Salita, with word out that this Russian hitter is making his way up the ratings ladder.
Tikhonov (14-0 con 8 KOs) has entered the WBA world rankings at No. 13.

BELGIAN BOXER ALEX MISKIRTCHIAN GETS FEATHERWEIGHT TITLE SHOT

PROMOTER SALITA BACKS FEATHERWEIGHT CONTENDER
Brooklyn, Nueva York (Marzo 16, 2016) – Even the very best in the business experience setbacks and get faced with choice time. Can I learn from my mistake and turn a negative into a positive?
Alex Miskirtchian found himself enjoying his momentum up the featherweight ladder before he hit a pothole in the road last summer. The Georgia-born fighter with a 26-4-1 mark got caught by vet Cornelius Lock and had to assess himself.

He did so, and licked his wounds and got back to work. The Belgium resident, who has mostly fought in his home-land, rebounded with a win in December and is being rewarded for his perseverance with an IBF intercontinental championship opportunity.

Miskirtchian, promoted by Brooklyn’s Dmitriy Salita, will fight Vireol Simion on Marzo 18, for a crack at that crown.

“Alex is fighting for a title but more importantly for a chance to come back to the top of the division,” Palabra dijo.

“He learned from his US experience, against Lock, took a break and came back with extra motivation to again make a world title run. I believe Alex will put on one of his best performances in this upcoming fight. He has a great team with manager Alain Vanackère and I believe the result will be a positive one on March 18th.”

The fight against the 19-1 Romanian Viorel will unfold in Bucharest, the capital of Romania, so Miskirtchian will need to fight his best brand of boxing that evening. Su promotor, Palabra, has faith in him.

BROOKLYN (Septiembre 30, 2015) – En un enfrentamiento muy esperado entre dos de los peleadores más emocionantes y talentosos de Brooklyn, AMB campeón mundial de peso medio Daniel “El hombre de los milagros” Jacobs (30-1, 27 KOs)se enfrentará al ex campeón del mundo Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin (32-0-1, 23 KOs)en Sábado, Diciembre 5 del Barclays Center en Brooklyn vivir TIEMPO DE LA FUNCION (9 p.m. Y/6 p.m. PT).

Una figura inspiradora que luchará en el Barclays Center por quinta vez, Jacobs de Brooklyn completó su camino al campeón cuando derrotó a Fletcher para el título de peso medio. En 2011, mientras persigue un campeonato en el ring, cáncer amenazada su vida y lo mantuvo al margen de 19 meses. Cuando regresó, que recogió donde lo dejó, y no ha perdido desde. El jugador de 28 años de edad, viene de un nocaut en el segundo round del ex campeón mundial Sergio Mora en agosto.
Quillin regresa al ring después de haber noqueado a Michael Zerafa a principios de este mes para dar seguimiento a su empate reñida contra el campeón mundial de peso mediano Andy Lee en abril.
