WBC U.S. Silver Light Heavyweight title fight James Perkins & Anthony Andreozzi Headlines “Oceanside Prize Fights”

Undefeated prospects James Perella &

Shea Willcox to be featured

ઓગસ્ટ 16 at Oceanside Events Center in Revere, MA

QUINCY, માસ. (જુલાઈ 8, 2025) – Old-school boxing returns on August 16મી તરીકેJames “Pitbull” Perkins (13-3-1, 9 કોસ) અનેAnthony “The Gentle Savage” Andreozzi (7-4, 3 કોસ) square off in the 8-round main event on a stacked “Oceanside Prize Fights” card, presented by Granite Chin Promotions (GCP), for the vacant World Boxing Council (WBC) USA Silver Light Heavyweight Championship.

All the action will be streamed onwww.BXNGTV.com live from the Oceanside Events Center (formerly the Wonderland Ballroom) in Revere, મેસેચ્યુસેટ્સ.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Quincy Firefighters Cancer Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide unwavering support to firefighters and their families as they face the challenges of occupational cancer, ensuring they receive the care, resources, and assistance they need. પર જાઓwww.quincyfirecancerfoundation.com for information.

“It’s been long overdue that Granite Chin did an event on the North Shore,” promoterChris Traiettiજણાવ્યું. “Oceanside Events Center is a beautiful venue, and they have been a pleasure to work with. This event will be an incredible night of fights with a new WBC Silver U.S. Champion crowned. કે ટોચ પર, we will be raising money for the Quincy Firefighters Cancer Foundation, which as a member of the Quincy Fire Department, hits home for me. The foundation does amazing work and provides critical support for our fellow firefighters at a time of need.”

Perkins and Andreozzi are throwback fighters who could fight in a proverbial phone boothproviding non-stop action in an entertaining, competitive encounter for a regional title.

A gravedigger from nearby Lynn (MA), the 32-year-old Perkins was a solid hockey player at St. Mary’s High School in Lynn, who also had another intensive labor job working on a lobster boat. He is a strong, aggressive puncher who has successfully transitioned from the super middleweight division to light heavyweight.

Andreozzi, of Swansea (MA), who is a former Massachusetts Middleweight Champion, has overcome a serious injury to become a title challenger. He broke his lower leg that resulted in 2 major surgeries that kept him sidelined for a full year. Andreozzi is back, hungry and ready for Perkins.

“Sometimes, પ્રમોટર તરીકે, you must get creative selling a fight, but this isn’t one of those,” Traietti added. “This fight sells itself. James and Tony are two guys who refuse to take a step backwards, for better or worse, coming forward and bringing non-stop pressure. Getting both guys to agree to fight was one of the easiest things I have done all year. They were chomping at the bit. This fight is a can’t miss regional main event.”

Two of the most popular and promising prospects in New England, Marshfield (MA) વેલ્ટરવેઇટJames “The Slim Reaper” Perella (19-0, 13 કોસ) and Everett (MA) જુનિયર વેલ્ટરવેઇટ“Showtime” Shea Willcox (3-0, 3 કોસ), will provide chief support.

Perella, 32, had a celebrated amateur career (120-20), capturing 3 New England Golden Gloves titles, in addition to a silver medal at the prestigious National PAL Tournament. He will face former FECARBOX Welterweight ChampionSaul “Navajo” Corral (31-24, 20 કોસ) in an 8-round fight.

Willcox, 23, was a member of two Everett High’s Super Bowl, Division One football championship teams. He was also selected as the “Most Outstanding Boxer” at last year’s New England Golden Gloves Championships, as well as a 2018 Rocky Marciano Tournament Champion. He will be in a 4-round match vs.Aldimar Silva (22-28, 14 કોસ), બ્રાઝીલ ની.

Traietti concluded, “On top of a great main event, SHEA WILLCOX IS COMING HOME! Getting Shea a fight in his home area was paramount this year. We plan to make it a recurring theme. He is a terrific talent with a loyal fan base that traveled twice to Bridgewater to support him. Now he is coming to the North Shore where he belongs, and the sky’s the limit.”

Additional matchups will soon be announced.

કરી નથી. 1 rated WBA Super Flyweight John “Scrappy” Ramirez believes in the process

LOS ANGELES (જુલાઈ 2, 2025) -- It’s “Scrappy Time” again!

For the first time in 2025, charismatic super flyweight contenderJohn “Scrappy” Ramirez (15-1, 9 કોસ) returned to the ring on last Saturday’s DAZN Pay-Per-View event, presented by MVP Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions, and headlined by YouTuber turned boxerJake “The Problem Child” Paul(12-1, 7 કોસ) સામેજુલીઓ સેસર ચાવેઝ, જુનિયર. (54-7-1, 34 કોસ) at Honda Center in Anaheim, કેલિફોર્નિયા.

એક 8 રાઉન્ડમાં વારો માં, “Scrappy” dominated Houston’sJosue Jesus Morales (33-19-5, 14 કોસ), who was a very late replacement forSaleto હેન્ડરસન (10-2, 7 કોસ), enroute to an 8-round unanimous decision (80-72, 80-72, 89-73).

Henderson pulled out of the fight last Wednesday night, Morales accepted the fight Thursday evening after the event’s final press conference.

“I trusted the process,” Ramirez explained. “It was emotional when my original opponent pulled out of the fight so late and I didn’t know if I’d be fighting. I’m happy I got the fight, even if I had to open the show, because I’ve learned to embrace the opportunity. I trained to fight a 5’ 2”, righty and fought a southpaw. I was comfortable, regardless, because I prepare at camp for anything that may happen. I wanted the fight and gave him (મોરાલેસ) two passes on weight. He was coming in heavy; તેથી, we agreed to fight at a 120-pound catchweight. Before he stepped on the scale, he said he weighed 121.6. I didn’t want him to be fined for coming in overweight because he was doing me a favor by taking the fight. I respect him for taking the fight on late notice and we changed the contract to 121.6. Nothing changed for me other than the opponent and opening the preliminaries. Time is money, and I wanted everything I had done to count like camp (expenses), resources I used, mileage on my body. Everything happens for a reason. There are six months left in 2025, and my goal is to have two more fights.”

The 29-year-old Ramirez is world rated at No. 1 આ WBA માં, તેમજ કોઈ તરીકે. 12 અને કોઈ. 15, અનુક્રમે, વર્લ્ડ બોક્સિંગ કાઉન્સિલ દ્વારા (WBC) and WBO.Fernando Daniel Martinez (16-0, 9 કોસ), આર્જેન્ટિનાના, is the reigning WBA Super Flyweight World ChampionDavid Jimenez (17-1, 11 કોસ) remains the WBA Interim Champion.

“I’m back where I left off (કરી નથી. 1 રેન્કિંગ),” Ramirez said. “After my last fight I was No. 2, ‘Chocolatito’ (Roman Gonzalez) was on top. And before this coming fight, I wanted to go up to No. 1 અને પછી, a little while ago, I saw that I was back at No. 1. It’s a good feeling to have put myself back where I was. At this point, I have power and leverage. They may want me to fight a rematch with Jimenez, who is still the (WBA) Interim champion but we’ll see how everything plays out. If I get the opportunity to fight ‘Chocolatito’ or ‘Bam’ (WBC world championJessie Rodriguez), I’d do that if it makes sense.”

Fighting out of South Central Los Angeles, “Scrappy” hasn’t fought since last December 14th when he decisioned previously undefeatedEphraim Bui (10-0) સ્કોર્સ દ્વારા 97-93 ત્રણ વખત. In Ramirez’ previous fight in April of 2024, “Scrappy” had suffered the lone loss of his pro career to Jimenez for the WBA Interim Super Flyweight crown.

“I’m hungry! I feel like I’ve been locked up in a cage. I’m happy to be back to the spot I had before.,” Ramirez continued. ”I’m ignoring distractions and continue to work on my craft and self-discipline. I know my opportunity (world title shot) will come. Even when I didn’t know who my opponent would be or even if I’d fight (આ શનિવાર), I just let that go and kept training hard to keep improving.

“Everything is based on my confidence. હું હજુ પણ કામ પર શીખવાની છું. I like to compare it to when I played football, my level of confidence, because I knew what that was all about for me. I’ve gained that same level of experience in the ring, when to or when not to do something that I’ve learned through my experiences. Going back to December 14મી, I was coming off my only loss eight months earlier, and it’s been six months since my last fight. I kept on the right path, and now I have my old football comfort and understanding. People compared me with fighters who’ve fought their whole lives, but I didn’t make my pro debut until December of 2020. I started late (બોક્સિંગ માં) and I’m still learning and figuring things out.”

ખરેખર, ‘Scrappy’ has been an adaptive learner who resents being called by some as ahyped-up fighter, primarily because of his commitment and sacrifices he’s made to be the all-around fighter he has become.

“I know I have the skills to be world champion,” Ramirez concluded. “I like to fight and prove people wrong. I train to learn how to perform better. I’m in a great spot. I know I need to keep winning and that my opportunity will come. I’m only really thinking about this fight as I glimpse a little into my future.”

It’s “Scrappy Time” again and the dynamic super flyweight is closing in on his world title.

ANGEL FIERRO: “I HAVE NO RESPECT FOR PITBULL CRUZ. HE DOESN’T INTIMIDATE ME & HE’S AN ORDINARY FIGHTER!" – Fierro Talks Training With Robert Garcia & More Ahead of Cruz Rematch on Saturday, જુલાઈ 19

Hard-Hitting Fierro Talks Training with Robert Garcia & Previews Mexico vs. Mexico Rematch Against Former World Champion Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz onશનિવારે, જુલાઈ 19 on PBC Pay-Per-View Event on Prime Video from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas

RIVERSIDE, આવા AS. – July 1, 2025 -Hard-hitting Mexican contenderAngel “Tashiro” Fierrosent a direct message to his compatriot and rivalIsaac “Pitbull” Cruzduring a tense face-to-face at the Los Angeles press conference in June to announce their rematch, and has continued to express his ire toward Cruz as we near their showdown on Saturday, જુલાઈ 19 as part of a PBC Pay-Per-View event on Prime Video from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

“When I say something to him, like I did at that press conference, I follow through,” said Fierro. “I promised I would show him that I’m elite and this fight will be more of the same. I have no respect for ‘Pitbull’ Cruz. He doesn’t intimidate me and he’s an ordinary fighter. He’s a human and he gets tired too. I stayed true to myself when I told him I’m coming for war.”

The biggest change for Fierro since the first showdown is the addition of famed trainer Robert Garcia, who has led his training camp and will do the same for his corner on July 19. By joining forces with Garcia, Fierro believes he’s unlocked a better version of himself that he’ll display in the rematch.

“It’s been a tough camp,” said Fierro. “I’ve never trained with this much intensity before. Robert Garcia and the whole team has been excellent. We’ve made changes to my sparring sessions and I believe we’re going to deliver a great result.

“I’ve gone through changes physically, mentally and nutritionally. It’s going to make me formidable. I’m in the best shape of my life and my diet is on point. I’m not worried about making weight and that’s how an elite fighter should come into a fight.”

The Tijuana-native’s first fight against Cruz was a tale of two halves, as Cruz controlled the early rounds before Fierro appeared to turn the tide, out landing his opponent 132 માટે 106 across the final five frames. While he believes he’ll be even better on July 19, Fierro is confident that he proved his elite status in the first fight, even if Cruz doesn’t.

“I’ve worked on myself and correcting the mistakes I made in the first fight that would have changed the outcome,” said Fierro. “Robert Garcia is very experienced and I watched the fight with him to work on what I need to do to win this time.

“I didn’t keep my hands up 100% of the time like I needed to. That was the main mistake at the time. ‘Pitbull’ underestimated me – and still does- but I already showed him that I’m not middling fighter. I proved I’m elite and now I’m working twice as hard.”

In addition to showing Cruz his level, Fierro believes that he took advantage of the big stage in February on the undercard of David Benavidez vs. ડેવિડ મોરેલ જુનિયર. to show the Mexican people that he was a true contender. With that extra motivation, he’s promised to show that he will be the next big star to take off from the boxing-rich country.

“At the beginning of the fight, people looked at me like I was a nobody,” said Fierro. “But by the halfway point, I felt a shift, and people were already seeing me as a big-time fighter. I felt like Rocky in Russia! I proved that I’m not just a talker. I’m a true Mexican…We’re two Mexicans with pride on the line and looking to show who the next great Mexican boxing star will be. I’m fighting to bring honor to my country.”

Having already delivered a fight that’s garnering early Fight of the Year consideration, Fierro has promised to deliver even more action the second time around, and perhaps bring back memories of Fierro’s personal favorite all-Mexican rematch Marco Antonio Barrera vs. Erik Morales II.

“You’re going to see a different ‘Tashiro’ and it’s going to be an even better war than the first one,” said Fierro. “The fans will be on their feet from the very first round. I will beat ‘Pitbull’ – no matter what. He better prepare well and I think he will, because deep down he knows what he’s up against.”

Reminder: Undefeated Russian super middleweight Petr “The Surgeon” Khamukov to headline This Friday in Long Beach on DAZN

LOS ANGELES (જૂન 16, 2025) - Often avoided Russian super middleweight Petr “The Surgeon” Khamukov (13-0, 6 કોસ) will headline “LA Friday Night Fights”, presented by Paco Presents and Golden Boy Promotions, against David “Dynamite” Stevens (14-2, 10 કોસ) this week in Long Beach, કેલિફોર્નિયા.

Khamukov faces Stevens, who was a standout amateur boxer out of Pennsylvania, 10-રાઉન્ડ મુખ્ય ઘટના. “LA Friday Night Fights” will be streamed live this Friday on DAZN from Thunder Studios.

A promotional free agent who now resides in Woodland Hills (આવા AS), Khamukov had 350 amateur matches, represented Russia in the 2016 ઓલિમ્પિક્સ, and he was the only Russian to qualify for the same Olympics in two weights classes (middleweight and light heavyweight). He captured gold medals at the 2015 European Championships and 2016 Russian National Championships.

Khamukov, 33, is excited to be fighting again, never mind headlining, because he has had a difficult time securing fights prior to recently signing a managerial contract with 3 Point Management (3 PM). Khamukov’s last fight was 13 મહિનાઓ પેહ્લા, when he knocked out Esau Herrera de la Cruz (21-16-1) ત્રીજા રાઉન્ડમાં.

“It was a real challenge, both physically and mentally,” Khamukov spoke about his absence from the ring. “As they say, the darkest night is followed by the brightest dawn. That time away helped me reset, reflect, and come back even stronger. Sometimes those moments are necessary to build true resilience. You have to ask fighters why they have avoided me. I’ve always been ready to fight but they weren’t. Maybe the risk just didn’t justify the reward? Fear of losing can be a powerful force. Let them run, I’m not chasing anyone. I’m focused on my own path.

“It’s a huge honor and a big responsibility to be headlining this Friday night in Long Beach. A main event, worthy opponent, and a team that’s worked incredibly hard to get us here. Now it’s time to do what I do best: step into the ring and prove myself. Fighting on DAZN is a launchpad to a whole new level. Millions of eyes, a bigger stage and new doors that could open for me after a strong performance. One thing will stay the same: moving forward with dignity and respect for the sport, my opponent and myself.”

In his most recent fight last November in Las Vegas, the 24-year-old Stevens lost a 12-round split decision to Bektemir Melikuziev (14-1, 10 કોસ). Stevens’ most impressive performance to date was an 8-round stoppage of then 14-0 Sean Hemphill in 2023.

“My opponent is a strong, experienced fighter, તે વિશે કોઈ શંકા,” Khamukov said. “I respect that, but I didn’t just start boxing yesterday, ક્યાં. I’ve prepared thoroughly – physically, માનસિક, tactically. The rest will be shown in the ring. હું ખૂબ વાત નથી, હું શું, and that’s what professionalism is about.

“The biggest change in training camp has been volume. We’ve increased endurance work and focused on managing pace and energy. At my core, I’m still the same…. આક્રમક, technical, and hungry for victory.

Khamukov is the latest member of 3 Point Management’ (3 PM) stable of gifted boxers including WBA & WBO Cruiserweight World Champion/Ring Magazine No. 1 rated Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez (47-1, 30 કોસ), former WBC World Light Heavyweight Champion/WBC No. 3 rated Oleksandr “Nails” Gvozdyk (20-2, 16 કોસ), world super flyweight title challenger/WBO No. 1 rated John “Scrappy” Ramirez (14-1, 9 કોસ), WBA #6 rated super middleweight Darius “DFG” Fulgham (14-1, 12 કોસ), former WBA Inter-Continental Light Heavyweight Champion Kareem “Supreme” Hackett (12-1, 6 કોસ) and German junior welterweight Simon “Saucy” Vollmer (7-0, 3 કોસ).

In addition to her latest victory, the Caldwell, ઇડાહો, native also defeated Hungary’s Vladislava Kukhta on Thursday. Following Saturday’s performance, Mendoza has guaranteed herself at least a silver medal. She will now take on Mongolia’s Michidmaa Erdenedalai on Saturday in bout four.

"હું મહાન લાગે,” Mendoza stated. “It was definitely a really tough bout, someone that I’ve shared the ring with before [કોણ છે] always a tough competitor but we were able to pull off the victory today. I’m feeling good and we’re going into the silver and gold match tomorrow.”

Perez advances to the gold medal match in the women’s 54-kg division after garnering her second 5-0 decision of the week, this time against Hungary’s Hanna Lakotar. She will square off against England’s Charley Davidson in bout three.

Among the Team USA men’s contenders, Georges continued his remarkable week with a 4 1 win over Moldova’s Andrei Zaplitnii on Friday. In his two bouts, Georges has consistently dominated from the opening bell and enforced his powerful game on his foes. He will take on Brazil’s Isaias Filho in bout 18.

"મને સારું લાગે છે,” said Georges. “I’m making it deep in this tournament. I’m here for the gold. કાલે, I’ve got a guy, રિમેચમાં, he thinks he’s better than me, but he just caught me at a time when I wasn’t where I need to be mentally. But I’m going to show him tomorrow. We’re on to the next one, getting that gold.”

Watts opened his tournament on Friday against Mexico’s Alejandro Cruz and imposed his size and power from the beginning of the bout. The super heavyweight has been hard at work this year and is guaranteed at least a silver medal at the World Boxing Challenge. Watts is focused on closing his week strong against Italy’s Diego Lenzi, a Paris 2024 ઓલિમ્પિયન, in bout 19.

In addition to the four Team USA winners from Friday, Marie-Angelis Rosendo will make her tournament debut on Saturday in the women’s 70-kg weight class against Brazil’s Barbara dos Santos in bout seven. Rene Camacho, Jajaira Gonzalez Capture Wins on Day One of World Boxing Challenge Grand Prix Usti Nad Labem 2025

કામાચો, Gonzalez each earn 3-2 victories on tournament’s opening day
USTI NAD LABEM, ઝેક રીપબ્લીક (જૂન 11, 2025) - Jajaira Gonzalez (Women’s 60 કિલો) and Rene Camacho (Men’s 65 કિલો) each captured 3-2 wins in their tournament debuts Wednesday at the World Boxing Challenge Grand Prix Usti Nad Labem 2025.

The pair were the lone Team USA athletes in competition on day one of the tournament, and following their victories, they now advance to the quarterfinal rounds of their respective brackets.

ગોન્ઝાલીઝ (Glendora, કેલિફ.) closed out her 2025 international debut in style with a 3-2 victory over Croatia’s Sara Beram. Following the victory, Gonzalez will take on Italy’s Rebecca Nicoli in the quarterfinals of the women’s 60kg division. A second win at the tournament for the Glendora, કેલિફ., native will guarantee her a medal at the event; જો કે, she remains persistent in capturing the gold medal in her 2025 international debut tournament.

“First time fighting international since the Games,” said Gonzalez after her victory. “I felt a little rusty, but of course, it’s the first day. Back at it again tomorrow, and it’s going to be better tomorrow.”

કામાચો (હ્યુસ્ટન, ટેક્સાસ) entered the ring with confidence for his Team USA international debut. After listening to the opening bell and stepping out to throw the first punch of the bout, Camacho closed the door on any questions about whether or not he was ready for the international stage. Camacho shined under the lights and ultimately secured a 3-2 win over Hungary’s Milan Petriman.

“Feeling good, feeling good. I got the dub,” said Camacho of his win over Hungary on the opening day of the tournament. “We’re taking it all the way to the gold. We’re not going for anything less. વિન, જીત, win and win again!"

Thursday’s competition will feature nine boxers from the United States, beginning with Orlando Zamora (Turlock, કેલિફ. | 55કિલો) in Ring B, bout five, against Brazil’s Michael Douglas Trindade, a Paris 2024 ઓલિમ્પિયન.

Thomas Covington (ડેટ્રોઇટ, મને. | 60કિલો) will make his international debut in Ring B, bout eight, against Brazil’s Luiz Gabriel Oliveira, another Paris 2024 ઓલિમ્પિયન, who fell to the USA’s Jahmal Harvey last summer in Paris.

Camacho will return to action for his quarterfinal appearance in the 65kg division against Brazil’s Carlos Patrique Souza in Ring B, અંત 13.

Malachi Georges (Teaneck, એન.જે. | 90કિલો) will close out Ring B for the USA in bout 27 against Hungary’s Levente Kiss.

Yoseline Perez (હ્યુસ્ટન, ટેક્સાસ | 54 કિલો) will kick off Thursday’s USA women’s competition in Ring A bout 10 against Mexico’s Ariadna Jeanette Gil.

Alyssa Mendoza will then step between the ropes in Ring A, અંત 16, against Hungary’s Vladislava Kukhta in the women’s 57kg division.

Gonzalez will return to action for her quarterfinal bout in Ring A, અંત 20, against her Italian foe. Morelle McCane will then make her tournament debut and close out the action for the USA women in Ring A, અંત 23, against Switzerland’s Anna Julia Jenni.

In the final bout of the day for Team USA is Robby “Rahim” Gonzales, who will square off against Austria’s Lucky Aimufua in Ring A, અંત 28. Gonzales will aim to open his tournament contention with a bang in the 80kg division and will need three wins to earn a gold medal.

Pryce is Right again for undefeated Brooklyn heavyweight Pryce Taylor

ન્યુ યોર્ક સિટી (જૂન 11, 2025) – Immediately after last Friday night’s impressive fourth-round stoppage of Ed “Tex” Fountain, Brooklyn’s undefeated Pryce Taylor (8-0, 5 કોસ) was called America’s best heavyweight prospect by his promoter, Dmitriy Salita (Salita બઢતી).

The 28-year-old Taylor and his manager, New York City-based Attorney Keith Sullivan, agree with Salita.

“They’re (Salita and Sullivan) both right,” Taylor said, “because they’ve seen me fight. Fighting brings the dog out in me. તેમણે (ફાઉન્ટેન) was a test, real resilient, but like a punching bag that’s ready to fall off the chain. I had to keep hitting him and no way was he thinking about playing it safe. The referee saved his life; he was thinking about not falling down.”

The powerful Taylor entered the ring paying tribute to the late, great George Foreman by wearing a “Big George” T-shirt. Prior to the fight, Taylor noted that he had great success in the pro ranks fighting southpaws like Fountain. Taylor methodically ripped his opponent’s head and body with damaging punches, hurting Fountain in the third round with a straight right-left hook combination, followed by a barrage of shots on the sturdy Fountain who managed to survive the round.

ફાઉન્ટેન (14-9, 7 કોસ), who was the best fighter the 6’ 4”, 280-pound Taylor had fought in the pro ranks, was rocked from another series of violent combinations, when referee Charlie Fitch had seen enough and waved off the fight 36-seconds into the fourth frame. The fight was a scheduled 6-rounder on the “International Boxing Hall of Fame Night,” presented by Taylor’s promoter Salita Promotions, વેરોનામાં ટર્નિંગ સ્ટોન રિસોર્ટ કેસિનો પર, ન્યૂ યોર્ક.

“I was excited to be fighting on a show like that,” Taylor added. “He hit me first in the first round, something I always let my opponents do to test their power, gauge patterns, and figure him out. It’s like in baseball when a batter lets a pitch go by without swinging to see what he has on the mound. Because he’s a southpaw, his right is his jab, and he really wanted to use his left power hook. He had a good poker face, but he couldn’t hide it when I hurt him. He tried not showing he was fazed, keeping himself upright, but he felt my power. I like being accurate, especially throwing power punches. I punished him at the end, throwing a body shot, an uppercut, and then two right hooks.

“I thought George Foreman would have been proud of me and maybe thought he was seeing himself fight when he saw me punch. I put on a show. I’m a combination of Foreman and Muhammad Ali; power punching like Foreman, elusive like Ali with good footwork and light on my toes.

“I’m not sure if this was the best fight of my career, but he was my best opponent and the toughest guy I’ve fought. He came into the ring in good shape and tried to fight. His downfall was Pryce Being Right ફરી. I love throwing my straight right and that keeps opening up my left hook to the body.”

Taylor had a 60-11 કલાપ્રેમી રેકોર્ડ, including a pair of New York Golden Gloves titles, and he was the heavyweight runner-up four times in the prestigious USA Boxing National Championship tournaments. “Pryce’s TKO win was exactly what I expected – dominant, calculated, and explosive,” Sullivan remarked. “He’s not just another prospect; with continued work, he can be the next great American heavyweight. With every fight, he’s proving that he has the tools, the discipline, and the mindset to be a force within this division. We’re building something special, and the world’s about to see it.”
Team Taylor (એલ આર): Manager Keith Sullivan, undefeated Brooklyn heavyweight prospect Pryce Taylor, promoter Dmitriy Salita, and head trainer Benny Roman Salita.

Taylor will be fighting next in his first scheduled 8-round bout on July 26 in Detroit on a Salita Promotions card headlined by undisputed World Heavyweight Champion Claressa Shields (16-0, 3 કોસ) versus Lani Daniels (11-2-2, 1 KO) at Little Caesars Arena. સુલિવાન, a former Deputy Commissioner for the NYS Athletic Commission, also manages 3-time, 2-division World Champion Miyo Yoshida (18-5) and Bronx NYPD Officer Nisa Rodriguez (3-1, 1 KO), as well as co-managing world-rated (IBF #3 & WBA #10) welterweight contender Paddy “The Real Deal” Donovan (14-1, 11 કોસ), from Limerick, આયર્લેન્ડ. Sullivan co-manages Donovan with former world middleweight champion Andy Lee, who is also Donovan’s head trainer.

Kansas super middleweight prospect Marco “El Tiburón” Romero goes back to the future this Saturday in Portland, મૈને

KANSAS CITY, મે. (જૂન 9, 2025) - Kansas boxing phenom Marco “El Tiburon” Romero (7-0, 6 કોસ) started his pro career a year ago on Father’s Day Weekend in Portland, મૈને, and he returns there this Saturday night for his third fight in The Forest City.

Despite the Cross Insurance Arena being more than 1,500 miles from his home in Olathe, કેન્સાસ, the 19-year-old Romero feels that Portland has become his second home, where he kick-started his pro career, and has developed a surprisingly growing fan base.

Romero stopped Jonathan Gary (2-1) જૂન પર 15, 2024, in the second round at Cross Insurance Arena. Last October, Romero defeated Orlando Salgado (3-5) in Portland by way of a third-round technical knockout at the Exposition Building.

This Saturday the gifted super middleweight prospect faces “The Conqueror” Nafys Anas Garner (4-2, 3 કોસ), fighting out of Sacramento (આવા AS), in a scheduled 6-round bout at Cross Insurance Arena.

“I’m more motivated than ever and couldn’t be happier to see the plan unfolding like we talked about a couple of years ago with Coach John (બ્રાઉન, manager/head trainer), Uncle Al (Valenti, advisor), my father (Salvatore Romero, મદદનીશ ટ્રેનર) and Sergio (ફૂલો, મદદનીશ ટ્રેનર).

“I’m ready and excited to be fighting again in Portland. I would love to bring a world title fight to Portland, where people appreciate good boxing. Traveling to fight is something I’m used to from my amateur days. Portland is like my second home because I’ve been treated so well there by everyone. I have big respect for Bobby Russo (પ્રમોટર). He’s an amazing guy who has shown me respect from the start. He gave me my ગોલ્ડન બોય (Most Outstanding Boxer Award, Russo is President of the National Golden Gloves), when I won my division at the (2024) National Golden Gloves.”

(એલ આર) – Bobby Russo & Marco Romero “Marco is excited to be fighting again in his adoptive city of Portland, which has the best fight fans in America,” Brown remarked. “He’s hoping to display the talents that will eventually lead him to a world title. Marco’s been lucky to fight every two months all over America, which is helping him build a national fan base.”
