LAS VEGAS (Květen 19, 2016) – Světová boxerská asociace (WBA) vyhlásil sobotní noční boj mezi č. 1 zařadil uchazeč Shumenov Beibu (16-2, 10 KO) a ne. 11-hodnocené Juniorský “Hurikán” Wright (15-1-1, 12 KO) se stane WBA “pravidelný” Cruiserweight mistr světa. 12kolový off-TV zápas se bude konat v The Chelsea v The Cosmopolitan v Las Vegas.
Shumenov byl WBA “prozatímní” mistr světa v cruiserweight a povinný vyzyvatel na seznamu WBA v super cruiserweight Denis Lebedev (28-2, 21 KO), který také bojuje tuto sobotu v unifikačním zápase proti Mezinárodní boxerské federaci (IBF) mistr Victor Emilio “Tyson de Abasto” Ramirez (22-2-1, 17 KO) v Rusku.

“Vanes je mnohem pasivnější než v prvním zápase. Říkal mi, že je lepší být připraven.

“Jsem v nejlepší formě svého života a nikdy jsem nebyl tak připraven. Nemusím vám říkat, co tady budu dělat, protože to uvidíš v sobotu noc. Činy mluví hlasitěji než slova. Tohle bude nejlepší Vanes, jakou kdy uvidíte.
“Tentokrát budu rozhodně agresivnější. Nemůžu se dočkat Sobota.
“V tomto boji mám jiný pocit než kdykoli předtím. Jde o světový titul, tohle je tak velké, jak to jen jde.
“Je to ‚Sen’ oproti ‚Noční můře,’ a určitě uvidíte „Noční můru“.’ v sobotu noc.
Na to, co viděl v Lařiných očích, když stáli proti sobě…
“Bojovník se dívá na jiného bojovníka. V obou očích vidím hlad.
“Hodně z prvního boje, Byl jsem trochu nezkušený, ale během let jsme hodně dospěli. Čtyři roky do této hry, hodně zkušeností, hodně znalostí ve hře, takže je toho hodně, co jsem se naučil z prvního boje.
“Celá divize je zde, je to úžasné. Měli by to dělat častěji a jsem rád, že SHOWTIME dal dohromady tak skvělou kartu.”
Charlo JERMALL
“Každý souboj na této kartě mohl být hlavní událostí. Být na takové kartě se všemi těmito skvělými bojovníky je vzrušující.
“Box má v budoucnu spoustu opravdu velkých zápasů s Charlosem. Vezmeme to krok za krokem. Je to velký boj, který máme před sebou.
“Jsem na svého bratra velmi hrdý, že dokázal to, co ve svých 26 letech, pochází z místa, odkud jsme přišli.
“To je obrovský boj pro mě. To je pro mě víc než zisk světového titulu. Dal jsem do toho všechno. Na Pstruhových zkušenostech nezáleží. Jsem skutečný lev a ukážu to.
“Austin Trout je pro mě jen jméno. Porazil Cotta, tak co? mám co dělat. Soustředím se na dokončení práce.
“We (bratři) oba dělají různé věci, ale máme také stejné dovednosti a stejnou moc. Nikdo v divizi se nám nevyrovná.
“Vždy jsme si mysleli, že vyhrajeme a že budeme soutěžit na nejvyšší úrovni. Nyní je čas zapsat se do historie. Chceme dokázat, proč jsme na vrcholu.
“Já a můj bratr jsme vždy chtěli být zároveň šampiony. Nikdy nic takového nebylo. Tato éra, budete mít možnost si nás užít. Pracovali jsme velmi tvrdě, abychom se sem dostali, a budeme na této úrovni vládnout.
“Po tomto, Přicházím pro (160-librové stíhačky). Chcete-li být nejlepším bojovníkem za libru, musíte ovládnout různé divize a to je můj cíl. To neznamená, že bojuji s váhou. Teď se cítím dobře, ale myslím, že budu ještě silnější 160.
“Květen 21 nic mi nezabrání v tom, abych ztratil pás.”
AUSTIN TROUT
“Není náhoda, že jsem zpátky na špici a válím o titul. Zaplatil jsem své poplatky a dal do toho všechnu tvrdou práci, kterou jsem potřeboval.
“Nemám nic špatného říct o Jermallovi jako o člověku nebo bojovníkovi. Ale na konci dne, historie bude moje vlastní. Využiji ho pro svůj odkaz, ne naopak.

Jaké nedostatky vidíš?…
“Nechci vám říkat o jeho nedostatcích, protože by je mohl opravit Sobota, ale vidíme pár nedostatků.
Pokud by ho to bolelo, posunout se na 160…
“Může, nemusí. Nedíváme se na žádnou extra hranu ani si nepřejeme dát všechna naše vejce do jednoho košíku. Na co spoléháme, je naše sada dovedností a naše přilnavost, abychom vyšli vítězně. Ať už ho to bolí nebo ne, nebude to záležet. Jediná věc, kterou to udělá, je, že mi to usnadní.
“Byl jsem tam, Byl jsem v hlubokých vodách. Viděl jsem mnoho různých typů strategií a stylů. V jistém smyslu, není nic, co přináší na stůl, co jsem předtím neviděl.
“Mám v sobě velkého psa, kterého uvidíte Sobota noc. Uvidíte, co mělo být hlavní událostí. Já a Charlo, bude to skvělý boj a doufám, že se všichni naladíte, protože beru ten pás.”
JERMELL Charlo
“Oceňuji všechny, kteří se podíleli na přípravě tohoto boje. Pro mě je to karta, které by lidé měli věnovat pozornost. Věřím, že každý na této kartě do toho dá všechno, protože jsme se všichni navzájem motivovali být tady.
“Bojuji s Johnem Jacksonem, syn legendy. Nevěřím, že John Jackson bude schopen dostát svému otci a pokud by se mi jeho otec někdy musel postavit, Taky bych ho porazil.

“To je neuctivé. Můj táta zaplatil své poplatky a mluvit o tátovi takhle je trochu neuctivé. nedostává se mi to. Bojovníci to používají, aby se vám pokusili dostat do hlavy, ale to je v pořádku, Nechám ho zaplatit v ringu.”

“Jo, potřebuje se pokořit. To bylo trochu přes čáru. Ale uvidíme, jak bude vypadat v ringu.”

“Má spoustu chyb. Jak se předklání a hodně čeká. Ale jeho styl je perfektní pro můj styl. Vždy přinesu a dám 100 procent a hledáme zastavení.

While they definitely have their similarities – look the same, have one letter different in their first names, have the same dreams and goals in the same sport – like any sibling relationship, they also have their differences. Born in El Paso, Texas and raised in Las Cruces, Nové Mexiko, Trout is trained by Barry Hunter and Louie Burke of Headbangers Gym in Washington D.C. Having started boxing at the age of 10, his natural talent and the ability to grow into the sport took Austin across the United States and Latin America in the amateur divisions and then into the pros. Known as one of the fiercest gentlemen competitors in the sport, he beat the likes of Miguel Cotto, Rigoberto Alvarez and Delvin Rodriguez, before losing his title to Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez. Trout comes into Květen 21 looking to claim a title in a division he’s been a true threat within for his career.

 

You’ve said you’ve been led to this fight, why is it important?

“Coming off of four consecutive wins, I’m not just on a comeback streak but I’m taking a full step forward. Charlo is the champ, this fight is about no more half stepping. It’s about taking on the best. Isn’t that what it’s about, being the best?"

 

How is camp going?

“I physically feel great. I’m really comfortable with Barry, it’s my fourth camp with the Headbangers team; Luis is there as well. Luis helps me with pre-camp and then I shift to D.C.

 

“I was already in D.C. getting camp started when the rumors about this fight came true. I had been at the gym at home for pre-camp for a month and a half before hitting D.C. “I had a good, competitive fight with Saul – it felt like a unification bout – I was WBA champion and he was WBC champion. The open scoring was more detrimental to my game plan thea the judges! During the fight when I was told that I wasn’t winning on anyone’s cards I had to change my game plan. It was a dogfight. Canelo never had to box and move that much before in a fight.

"Ale, live and learn. Instead of walking into a fight like that I listened to those around me. No more surprises. This Charlo fight is a fight I want, a fight my team wants and we’re ready. I’m a more mature, focused champion who’s coming back. I’m dangerous – I have experience, talent and God on my side.”
