I found out about this fight three weeks ago. It is not a big deal, I already had been sparring, so I am in good shape and ready for Saturday,” said Sims.
In Villela, Sims has seen little, but not a lot of his opponent, but he will be ready for anything that Villela will bring to the ring.
I saw a few Youtube videos, but I did not see a lot to get to a feel for him. But I am an experienced fighter, and I just have to fight my fight. I am not underestimating him, and I know he will be trying to win.
In the fight with Robles, Sims fought well throughout, and gave a brief critique of his performance.
I looked over the last fight, and I looked better watching it on television then I thought I did in the ring. Dia lazaina, I know I have things to work on, and I could have looked better.
Sims is looking for a big performance amin'ny sabotsy that will be a prelude to a busy Summer.
It would be good to get a stoppage. I am looking to come back May 13th in Louisiana, then a fight back on television.

Atlantic City, NJ (Jolay 22, 2016)-Welterweight Antony “Ranom-boankazo” Tanora won a six-round unanimous decision over veteran Eduardo Flores in the featured bout of a nine-bout card izany lasa Zoma alina amin'ny Claridge in Atlantic City.
The bout headlined a sold out night of boxing that was promoted by Rising Promotions. It was the fourth consecutive sold out event in the last eight months that Rising Promotions has staged.
The co-feature saw welterweight Thomas “Cornflake” LaManna tuned up for a major bout in the fall with a first round destruction of Engleberto Valenzuela in a super welterweight bout.
Tanora, of Atlantic City systematically took apart Flores, despite Flores trying to frustrate Young by coming in with wild shots for which some strayed behind the head.
Amin'ny farany, It was Young, who was not headlining for the first time, but being spurred on by his hometown fans and he was able to get the victory to the tune of 60-54 & 59-55 indroa.
Young of Atlantic City is now 13-2. Flores of Ecuador is 23-22-5.

Chinese light heavyweight Fanlong Meng scored a knockdown and was ruled the winner via 5th round stoppage over former contender Daniel Judah in a scheduled eight round bout.
Meng sent Judah into the ropes with a left hand that was ruled a knockdown and Meng and the referee ruled that Judah could not continue at the bout was stopped at 2:08.

KEA BOXING ANNOUNCES SUMMER RETURN!

Jorge Diaz, Danny McDermott, and Godson Noel in Triple Header Main Event!

NJ Boxing Hall of Fame Promoter Andre Kut has announced that KEA Boxing will be returning this summer with “Boxing at the Expo.” This all professional boxing show will be held at The New Jersey Convention & Expo Center in Edison, NJ on Saturday July 30, 2016. This will be the 12th year that Kut will be promoting professional boxing shows in New Jersey since his debut show in June of 2004. Kut was inducted into the NJ Boxing Hall of Fame this past November with Presidential candidate Donald Trump, Micky Ward, and several other boxing dignitaries for his role as a trainer, mpitantana, and promoter in the sport, specifically in New Jersey. Kut says that this will be a “Triple header show featuring all local talent.”

Headlining the show will be New Brunswick’s very own Jorge “King” Diaz. Diaz currently has a record 18 mandresy amin'ny 4 losses is looking to make a comeback after a loss to undefeated featherweight Abraham Lopez last August. Diaz will be looking forward to fighting again in his backyard and home state. Diaz also hopes that this is the start of his climb back into the rankings to have a title shot again as he has fought twice for two different world titles in the past.

The Brick City’s undefeated fighting fireman and Army Veteran Godson “Soldier Boy” Noel will be part of the triple header action. Noel currently holds a record of 6-0 amin'ny 4 knockouts and will be fighting for the third time this year after receiving a controversial draw back in March up in Massachusetts. Noel is currently a Newark Fireman and served in the United States Army. He is being labeled as one of New Jersey top rising prospects in the super middleweight division since signing a promotional contract with KEA Boxing back in 2015.

Danny “Little Mac” McDermott will be completing the triple header main event action when he steps back in the ring as a welterweight. Fighting out of North Bergen, McDermott currently holds a record of 12-5. McDermott recently fought in the United Kingdom and the Philippines twice where he also became the current WBC Asian Boxing Council champion. McDermott said he is very excited to fight again so close to home, as this is his first fight back in the states since 2013.

Heavyweight fights are always entertaining and action packed, so this show will also be featuring Jersey City’s Tyrell Wright. Wright, who is also undefeated with 8 wins will continue his dream of making an impact in the heavyweight division. Wright is currently trained and managed by former boxer Bobby Rooney.

Rounding out the card will be Darren “Venom” Goodall fighting out of New Milford. Goodall is currently undefeated with 3 wins in the light heavyweight division and has already fought on the big stage in Madison Square Garden and even the Prudential Center in Newark. Goodall also owns the famous Venom Fitness Boxing and Fitness Center in Wyckoff. His facility has quickly become known as one of the best training facilities for fitness and group classes in Northern New Jersey. Goodall is also known for his lighting quick speed and power.

Andrew “Sweet Pea” Bentley currently 3-2 will also be on the card. His flashy outfits, crown, and even sunglasses for his ring walk are sure to please the crowd as he can back up his flashy behavior with his boxing skills. Bentley is also under the watchful eye of manager and trainer Bobby Rooney with his stable mate Tyrell Wright.

Two former amateur fighters who will be making their professional debut will be Kevin Hernandez and Gerald Javier both fighting out of Bergenfield. Atlantic City, NJ (Mey 30, 2016)–This past Friday night at the Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City, Rising Promotions staged it’s third consecutive fight card in front of a large crowd that saw Isiah Seldon defeat Eddie Edmond in the six-round main event.

The middleweight bout highlighted a entertaining six bout card.

Seldon rocked Edmond several times with right hands that had the Newark, New Jersey resident holding on. The grabbing got much more severe and Edmond was deducted a point in round four. In round six, Seldon sealed the fight when he landed a right hand that forced Edmond’s glove to touch the canvas for a knockdown.

Seldon, 156 lbs won by scores of 59-54, 59-53 ary 58-54 to raise his record to 9-1. Edmond, 158 lbs is 4-5-2.

Mussachio was adept with his jab and landed some hard right hands that stunned Lockett. Despite the long layoff, Mussachio was sharp with his punches and reflexes looked on-point as he was only hit with a couple right hands. Mussachio thrilled his fan base that has stood by him throughout his eleven year career and the Lower Cape May Regional High School guidance counselor will look to make one more run at a title fight.

Mussachio, 183 lbs of Wildwood, New Jersey won by scores of 60-54, 59-55 ary 58-56 ary ankehitriny 19-3-2. Lockett, 205.3 lbs of Takoma Park, Maryland is 14-17-5.

In an action filled welterweight bout, Quan Johnson made a successful pro debut with a fourth round stoppage over Adrian Wilson in the final scheduled round of their welterweight bout.

Johnson showed fast hands from his southpaw stance and he got off to a good start when a straight left hand in round one landed for a knockdown. Heavyweight’s Quian Davis and Soloman Maye battled to a four round majority draw

Davis boxed but Maye came forward in attempt to make the fight. The judges liked the aggressiveness of Maye and gave him credit for two rounds on two cards ad Davis took a card 39-37 while two read even at 38-38.

Davis, 253 lbs of Mays Landing, New Jersey is now 2-0-2. Maye, 226.7 lbs ny New Haven, Connecticut is 1-6-2.

2016 United States Olympic Alternate, LeRoy Davila stopped Dominic Whitehurst in the second round in a scheduled four round bantamweight bout featuring pro debuter’s.

Davila showed quick hands from his southpaw stance and dropped Whitehurst with a body combination in round two. Davila landed a three punch combination to the body to register a second knockdown. Davila ended things when he landed a hard left hand and the fight was stopped at 2:34.
Davila, 116.9 lbs of New Brunswick, New Jersey is now 1-0 amin'ny iray knockout. Whitehurst, 117.5 lbs of Chillicothe, Ohio dia 0-1.

Lamont Capers opened up the show by scoring a eight round split decision over Nick Kisner in a cruiserweight bout.

Capers was effective with the right hand that continued to get through on Kisner. Kisner landed some good shots that made Capers nose bleed, but he wasn’t as consistent or active enough to pile up the rounds. Kisner was deducted a point for holding in round seven.

Capers, 196.2 lbs of Hawley, Pennsylvania won by scores of 77-74 indroa, while Kisner took a card 76-75. Capers is now 6-8-2. Kisner, 197.8 lbs of Baltimore, Maryland falls to 16-3-1.
