A three-time Bellator champion, Shlemenko (54-9-0. 1 NC, M-1: 4-0-0) garaitu ohia M-1 Challenge txapeldun Vyacheslav Vasilevsky last year in the M-1 Grand Prix Middleweight Championship semifinals and championship final, hurrenez hurren, by three-round majority decision and third-round submission (choke). Shlemenko vs. Vasilevsky I & II were also the M-1 Challenge 68 & 64 Fights of the Night.
Former Ring of Combat champion Bradley (23-7-0, M-1: 0-0-0) will be making his M-1 Challenge debut, ordea, he’s a seasoned MMA veteran having fought in the UFC, Strikeforce, Bellator eta World Series Fighting.
The 33-year-old Bradley, borrokan San Diego kanpo (California), was a standout wrestler at the powerhouse University of Iowa. He is known for his physical strength, tremendous endurance, and balanced stand-up and ground skills.
Undefeated M-1 Challenge welterweight champion Alexei Kunchenko (15-0-0, M-1: 7-0-0), Errusiako, will defend his title in the co-feature against Maksin Grabovich (5-2-0, M-1: 4-0-0), Errusiako, who replaced injured Kazakh challenger Shaukat Rakhmonov (7-0-0, M-1: 4-0-0).
Russian welterweight prospect Sergey “StreetfighterRomanov (10-1-0, M-1: 3-0-0) meets Russian veteran Magomed “Wolf Zuria” Sultanakhmedov (18-5-0, M-1: 10-1-0), while another American fighter, Arina KeonThe Black Assassin” Caldwell (11-3-0, M-1: 0-0-0), will make his M-1 Global debut against former M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Maxim Divnich (12-2-0, M-1: 6-2-0), Ukrainako.

It has also been announced that American lightweight KeonThe Black Assassin” Caldwell will make his M-1 Global debut versus former M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Maxim Divnich.

In a much-anticipated All-Russian middleweight showdown, Shlemenko was supposed to fight reigning M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramadan Emeev, who was unfortunately injured during training camp, forcing him out of that match. Vasilevsky replaced Emeev against Shlemenko in the championship final.

Caldwell (11-3-0, M-1: 0-0-0), fighting out of Georgia, is the US-based Island Fights champion. A powerful puncher who has nine knockouts in his 11 pro victories, Caldwell was supposed to compete in the 13garren season of Ultimate Fighter, but he withdrew due to personal reasons. He has had several fights in World Series of Fighting.
A Ukrainian fighting out of Moscow, Divnich captured the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title in 2014 at M-1 Challenge 54, gelditu Dzhambulat Kurbanov in the third round on punches in the Fight of the Night. In 2015, Divnich lost his first title defense by third-round knockout to Mansour Barnaoui at M-1 Challenge 57. Bere azken borroka batean, ARTIOM Damkovsky knocked out Divnich with a kick in the second-round of their fight this past September at M-1 Challenge 70.

Memphis (Oct. 21, 2016) – The most decorated middleweight in Bellator history, Alexander Shlemenko (54-9, 1NC) returned to the cageGaur gauean in a big way against Kendall Grove (23-16). The first round saw aggressive back and forth action with each fighter getting rocked. Shlemenko successfully utilized powerful spinning backfists and heelkicks to close the distance on the 6’6 Hawaiian. “The Storm” stalked Grove throughout the cage before ultimately connecting with a nasty combo that saw a left hand to the liver, followed by a right hand to the chin, sending his towering opponent to the mat. Shlemenko followed up with a barrage of strikes to “Da Spyda” before “Big John” McCarthy waved the fight off at 1:43 Bigarren markoaren.

 

 

Lashley sinks in a rear-naked choke to end Appelt’s night in round two

 

Bobby Lashley (15-2) continued to live up to his nickname of “The Dominator” as he tossed his opponent, Josh Appelt (12-6) to the mat at will. Throughout the first round, Lashley jockeyed for position as he rained down punches while trying to lock in a submission in front of his friend from his days as a WWE Superstar, Jerry “The King” Lawler, who watched from his cage side seat. Appelt landed a couple strikes to start the second frame before being slammed to the mat and ultimately submitted with a one-armed rear-naked choke at 1:43 of Round 2.

 

 

 

Yamauchi finishes Couture with armbar submission just one minute into bout

The 23-year-old submission specialist Goiti Yamauchi (20-3) garaitu Ryan Couture (10-5) via arm bar submission just 1:01 inaugurazio txandan sartu. Making his lightweight debut, Yamauchi becomes the first opponent to submit Couture over his 15-fight career. Kato scores TKO victory over Matthews

 

The first televised fight of the evening featured two highly gifted strikers in A.J. Matthews (8-6), a muay-Thai practitioner and Hisaki Kato(7-2), who holds a black belt in Kyokushin Karate. Both fighters exchanged great combinations throughout the entirety of the first round, with Matthews even wobbling Kato halfway through the frame. but was unable to capitalize, allowing Kato to regain his composure. A break in the action because of an accidental eye poke to Matthews allowed Kato to completely recover, and when the fight continued, Kato utilized his right kick to the body-left hand to the dome combination to send Matthews to the canvas, pouncing with a flurry of punches forcing the referee to call a stop to the action at 4:58 Lehen markoaren.
