“I got the offer for this fight about a month and a half ago and I have been training hard ever since,” said Santana. “I’m a technical fighter, but I have different styles and I can adapt to my opponent. I know Amanda very well and I’ve seen her fight many times. I’m going to come and put on a great show and leave everything I have in the ring.”

Raised in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn, Serrano gravitated toward boxing from watching her older sister Cindy, also a professional fighter. He racked up three victories before a busy 2016 saw him score seven knockout victories, including his last outing, a stoppage of Tomas Mendez in round one. Borrego had previously trained at Freddie Roach’s gym when training in the U.S., but held training camp up in the Bronx leading up to Aprel 22.
Fighting out of Escondido, Kaliforniya, Delperdang most recently went 12-rounds with former title challenger Hank Lundy after winning his previous four fights, nokaut bilan uch jumladan. NYU YORK (Aprel 17, 2017) – SHOWTIME Sports has unveiled the network’s complete spring 2017 boxing schedule following today’s earlier announcement that the heavyweight boxing event of the year will be televised showtime yashash. The stacked lineup includes seven world championship fights across eight live boxing telecasts over an eight-week span.

Also announced today, SHOWTIME and Premier Boxing Champions will present the rematch between WBC Light Heavyweight Champion Adonis Stevenson va Andrzej Fonfara bo'yicha Shanba, Iyun 3. This bout is an encore of a 2014 action-packed fight in which Stevenson edged Fonfara to defend his 175-pound crown.

Monreal (Fevral 20, 2017) – A full card with an international flavor, yuqoridan pastga, has been announced for bu juma (Feb. 24) Kechasi uning “BUTE VS ALVAREZ” major event at Videotron Centre in Quebec City, Kanada.
Jahon boks kengashi (WBC) light heavyweight champion Eleider “Bo'ron” Alvarez (21-0, 10 KOS), defends his title against former world super middleweight champion Lucian Bute (32-3-1, 25 KOS) in the 12-round main event that also serves as the final WBC eliminator to determine the mandatory challenger for WBC and lineal light heavyweight champion Adonis “Superman” Stevenson (28-1-0, 23 KOS). Alvarez, who lives in Montreal, was a Colombian Olympian and Laval, Canada resident Bute is a native of Romania. Stevenson, Alvarez and Bute are all promoted by GYM.

Romania-born Bute (32-3-1, 25 KOS), who is a Canadian citizen living in Laval (Kanada), held the IBF 168-pound division title for nearly five years (Okt. 19, 2007-May 26, 2012), when the wildly popular southpaw ranked among the top pound-for-pound fighters in the world.
Bute has a sterling 10-2-1 (8 KOS) record in world title fights and he has defeated six world champions: Dingaan Thobela, Soqiy Taurus, Alejandro Berrio, William Joppy, Brian Magee va Glen Jonson.
The WBC No. 7-ranked Bute will celebrate his 37th birthday four days after his fight with Alvarez. All three of his pro career losses have been to world champions: Jean Pascal, Carl Fröch va James DeGale.
The 32-year-old Alvarez (21-0, 10 KOS), Monreal chiqib jang, is a native of Colombia, where he was a decorated amateur, capturing a gold medalist at the prestigious 2007 Pan-Amerika o'yinlari, in addition to being a 2008 Olympian in Beijing, Xitoy.
“Bo'ron” moved to Montreal and turned pro in 2009. He went on to become North American Boxing Organization (Qo'shnilari) and North American Boxing Association (Shuningdek) light heavyweight champion. Yilda 2014, he stopped previously undefeated Ryno Liebenberg (16-0) in the seventh round of their fight in Monte Carlo to capture the WBC Silver 175-pound division championship, which he has successfully defended twice, both by 12-round decision, qarshi Isidro Prieto Ranoni (24-0-3) and former world title challenger Isaac Mark.
Now ranked No. 1 by the WBC and No. 4 tomonidan Ring magazine, Alvarez’ most recent fight was last month, in which he won a 10-round unanimous decision over Norbert Dabrowski (19-5-1) Monreal.

GROUPE YVON MICHEL’S TOP FIGHTERS JOIN VADA/WBC CLEAN BOXING PROGRAM

Monreal (Avgust 10, 2016) – Groupe Yvon Michel’s (SPORTZAL) world-ranked boxers have enrolled in the new VADA/WBC Clean Boxing Program (CBP), created by Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA) and the World Boxing Council (WBC).
Adonis Stevenson, Lucian Bute, Eleider Alvarez va Artur Beterbiev will now participate in a serious new protocol in which they may be blood and/or urine tested anytime, 365 days per year. They must be available at all times for an unexpected test.
All of the WBC champions and WBC top 15-ranked fighters have until Sentyabr 9 to conform to the new protocol or they will be removed from the WBC rankings and suspended from any activity in the WBC.
”This is a step in the right direction but what will really be important in the next few years is for this structure to always keep improving in order to properly regulate professional boxing,” murabbiy Marc Ramsay dedi.
”Xayriyat, boxing is rarely the target of doping cases, but tightening the rules can only be beneficial to prevent tempted athletes to follow the wrong path,” added GYM vice-president, operations and recruitment, Bernard Barré.
”I am fully in favor of these new measures so all of us in the program will be playing on the same plain field,” remarked Stevenson, the WBC world light heavyweight champion.

Quebec Siti (Iyul 30, 2016) – Engil vazn toifasida jahon chempioni Adonis “Superman” Stevenson (28-1, 23 KOS) delivered a highlight reel knockout victory over Thomas “Top Dogg” Williams Jr. (20-2, 14 KOS) in the fourth-round of an exciting main event showdown on Premer boks Chempionlar bo'yicha Spike Juma night from Centre Videotron in Quebec City, Kanada.
“It was a firefight,” said Stevenson. “He put pressure on me so I decided to put pressure on him too. It was a fight with two guys who could punch and it was spectacular. It was my daughter’s birthday and I gave her a great gift.”
The defending champion Stevenson, fighting in his adopted hometown, put Williams down in round one with a straight left hand. Williams was able to recover and began to fire back in round two. Ammo, Stevenson’s jab consistently sent Williams backtracking, while Williams abandoned the jab and attempted to cut the distance with power punches from difficult angles. Williams staggered the world champion several times, using an effective counter right hand while getting the best of many exchanges.
Both men were hurt in an exciting third round that saw momentum swing in each man’s favor before the bell rang to end the round. A cut opened up over the left eye of Williams in the end of the round that was tended to in his corner. Williams hit the canvas as a result of a low blow early in the fourth, but regained his footing shortly after.
The notorious power puncher Stevenson eventually landed the deciding blow of the night when he caught Williams’ chin hanging in the pocket and delivered a straight left hand that put the challenger to the floor. Vashington, DC area-native was unable to recover, prompting referee Michael Griffin to stop the bout 2:54 into the fourth round.
Additional televised action saw rising middleweight contendersImmanuel xurmoni (16-0-1, 9 KOS) va Demond Nikolson (17-1-1, 16 KOS) fight to a majority draw in their eight-round bout.
Neither fighter was able to control of the fight with Nicholson attempting to use his length and jab while Aleem tried to cut the distance and attack with short punches. Nicholson appeared to have the more effective attack in the early rounds, while Aleem began to have more success as the fight shifted to toe-to-toe action in the second half of the fight.
sudyalar’ scores reflected the close nature of the fight as one judge had it 77-74 for Aleem while the other two judges had it a 76-76 chizish.
The televised opener saw Eleider “Bo'ron” Alvarez (20-0, 10 KOS) keep his perfect record intact with a unanimous decision victory over New Zealand’s Robert Berridge (27-5, 21 KOS) in a 10-round light heavyweight affair.
“I am happy with the win, but I would have liked a knockout! He was tough, but he did not hurt me at all and I thought that I hurt him. I am ready for my next challenge, which will hopefully be a world title fight.”
The top-rated contender for Stevenson’s title, Alvarez established his jab early on while attacking the body of Berridge with right hooks. Alvarez continued to control the fight from a distance as Berridge was slow to begin increasing his output before he started putting the pressure on in round five.
The southpaw Berridge was able to land occasionally on Alvarez with a looping left hand, but never put the undefeated fighter in danger. Alvarez began to have more success varying up his attack with right uppercuts and hooks that eventually left Berridge’s right eye swollen and bruised.
Alvarez took home the decision by scores of 99-90 va 98-92 ikki marotaba.
