Salita Promotions Announces the Return of the ‘Detroit Brawl’ Professional Boxing Series on Saturday, May 14 at Masonic Temple

On Saturday, May 14, fighter turned up-and-coming promoter Dmitriy Salita of Salita Promotions proudly announces the second installment of his wildly successful boxing series “Detroit Brawl.”
To again be held at the iconic Masonic Temple Downtown, “Detroit Brawl” will again feature some of Michigan, and especially Detroit’s, best fighters, as well as rising contenders from around the world.
Salita is also proud to announce that Detroit’s premier casino has once-again agreed to sponsor, along with some new local businesses including Thomas Magee’s Sporting House Whiskey Bar and its proprietor, Erik Olson.
Tickets for “Detroit Brawl” are on sale now and are priced at $28, $38, $63, $93, $100 and $123. They are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com, by calling 800-745-3000or by visiting the Masonic Temple box office.

“The first Detroit Brawl was something to be very proud of,” said Dmitriy Salita. “The city’s businesses got behind it, many of Detroit’s boxing greats were in the house including Tommy Hearns, Hilmer Kenty and Cornelius Bundrage. It had an old-school feel that night, bringing back the glory days of boxing in Motown. The fights were exciting and the fans were very enthusiastic. It was so successful in so many ways we are not going to alter the formula one bit for the second event. We’re coming back to the beautiful Masonic Temple to work with their magnificent staff. We’ve got Greektown onboard already. They are the best of the best of Detroit casinos. Plus we’ve got some new sponsors to announce and a terrific lineup of fights we are working hard on finalizing. I’m very excited to be part of this once again.”
