PHILADELPHIA (Február 13, 2019) – Former UFC standout Artem Lobov, a stablemate of Conor McGregor, has requested his release from UFC in order to sign an exclusive multi-fight deal with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship(BKFC) and continue his combat sports career with BKFC as the organization prepares for a banner year.

“I feel Artem is a great addition to our roster and his style is made for this sport,” said BKFC Founder and President David Feldman. “Attracting and signing a guy with the following that Artem has is a perfect match for where we are right now as an organization. I think this signing speaks volumes for the direction BKFC is heading.”

Lobov will be making his BKFC debut on Saturday, Apríl 20 as part of BKFC 6, which will take place at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, PANI. He’ll face Biloxi native and fellow UFC veteran Jason Knight.

“Jason Knight is an action, hard-nosed fighter who will be fighting in his hometown for the first time in a long time,” continued Feldman. “This is a true crossroads fight. I personally think this is a Fight of the Year candidate.”

“I cannot wait to fight for Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship,” said Lobov. “I have been following them since the beginning. I love what they are doing and I thank David Feldman for believing in me. I look forward to this new stage in my career and I think it has the perfect ruleset for me to perform at my best ability. I look forward to becoming a star in this sport.”

The 32-year-old fighter from Russia made his name on Season 22 na The Ultimate Fighter as part of Team McGregor, where he worked his way to the finals of the tournament before losing to Ryan Hall. He challenged Cub Swanson in a UFC main event in 2016, after picking up victories over Chris Avila and Alex White. While he lost his last three UFC bouts by decision, he owns 13 professional MMA wins and will take that experience into BKFC action.

Fire Fist Boxing fighters set for UFC Fight Pass bouts in St. Petersburg

Tampa, FL (Február 13, 2019) – Fire Fist Boxing’s Connor “The Kid” Coyle, Willian “Baby Face” Silva and Mark Reyes Jr. will all fight as part of a UFC Fight Pass card Saturday, Február 16 at the Coliseum in St. Petersburg, FL.

This excellent evening of boxing is promoted by Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions in association with Rite Hook Promotions.

Headlining the telecast is an eight round middleweight showdown between Coyle and Travis “Dirty Red” Scott.

Splitting time between his native Ireland and St. Petersburg, FL, Coyle’s a perfect 8-0 s 3 vyhrá knockout. He’s become a big draw in the Tampa-St Pete area and most recently scored a sixth round TKO of Danny Pastrana. The talented Coyle has been featured as a prospect to watch out for by media members from both sides of the pond.

Living and fighting out of Buenos Aires, Argentína, Solis is 25-13 s 9 KO. The 36-year-old’s faced many top fighters including world champion Robert Easter, contenders Sergio Thompson and Diego Silva along with unbeaten Saul Rodriguez among others.

LAS VEGAS (December 28, 2018) – Majster boxu v dvoch divíziách Baďo Jack will be supporting his fellow Swede, Alexander Gustafsson, in his UFC light heavyweight title fight tomorrow night against Jon Jones, and recently dined with his longtime friend while both were training in Las Vegas.

“Alexander, (Swedish UFC fighter) Ilir Latifi and I go back to the amateur days in Sweden,” povedal Jack. “It was great seeing them again and I’m very proud of all they’ve accomplished in the MMA world. I wish Alexander all the best in his upcoming rematch and will be cheering for him to bring Sweden another world title home.”

In the clip from “UFC Embedded“, Jack and Gustafsson talk about their friendship dating back to their amateur days in Sweden, as Gustafsson prepares for his title bout and Jack nears his showdown against Marcus Browne on the Manny Pacquiao vs. Adrien Broner pay-per-view January 19.

“Badou Jack and I go back a long time,” said Gustafsson in the clip. “He’s from Stockholm, Sweden where I’m from and he’s doing his thing in boxing while I’m in MMA. Our paths have crossed and we sparred way back in the day. We’re here to catch up and just hang out.”

In addition to sharing Swedish heritage, Jack and Gustafsson both use the Lockhart and Leith team of nutritionists and chefs to cut weight for their respective fights, something that has helped both reach the elite level of combat sports.

“They have surrounded themselves with a great team, which is essential in this sport,” povedal Jack. “Although it’s an individual performance, the preparation is a team effort. It was great catching up over dinner and getting our teams together for some laughter and fun in the middle of our training camps. Team Jack is 100% in their corners.”

LAS VEGAS (November 12, 2018) – Majster boxu v dvoch divíziách Baďo Jack pokračoval v dokazovaní, že je skutočne majstrom celého sveta, pretože podnikol vzrušujúci výlet do Dubaja, ktorý obsahoval pozvanie na účasť na Dubai Fitness Challenge, stretnutie s hviezdou UFC Khabibom Nurmagomedovom a mnoho ďalších.
S pozvánkou od Dubai Tourism, Jack sa zúčastnil iniciatívy, ktorá povzbudzuje štátnych príslušníkov Spojených arabských emirátov, obyvatelia a návštevníci cvičiť minimálne 30 minút denne, pre 30 po sebe idúcich dní. Verejná akcia dala Jackovi šancu ďalej šíriť svoje pozitívne správy.

V rámci výletu, Jack hovoril s Mužské zdravie Blízky východ za článok, ktorý bude prebiehať v časopise a podrobnejšie uvedie mnohé z mnohých snáh, ktoré Jack v súčasnosti sleduje vo vnútri i mimo ringu. Jackov čas v Dubaji ho tiež pozval GQ Stredný východ ako špeciálny hosť úvodnej akcie pred ich inauguračným vydaním.
“Rád cestujem po týchto cestách po celom svete, aby som spoznal rôzne kultúry, a taktiež pokračujem v budovaní svojej značky a vráťte mi to, kde môžem niečo zmeniť.,” povedal Jack. “Či už je to výživa Ripper, nadácia Badou Jack alebo moja boxerská kariéra, Som hrdý na to, že môžem používať svoju platformu. V boxe mám veľa cieľov a snov, ale aj mimo neho. Vytváranie týchto druhov spojení mi pomôže dlho po mojej boxerskej kariére.”

M-1 Challenge 49 still holds the single MMA event live attendance record (23,255) v Rusku
SAINT PETERSBURG, Rusko (Septembra 19, 2018) – Contrary to some media reports, the 22,603 fans at last weekend’s UFC Fight Night 136 in Moscow did not set a Russian MMA live attendance record.
M-1 Global still holds the record for the highest live attendance of an MMA event in Russia, kedy 23,255 fans attended M-1 Challenge 49: Bitka v horách júna 7, 2014 v Ingušsku, which is officially registered in the Russian Book of Records.
Last weekend’s UFC debut event in Russia UFC Fight Night 136 is the second-most fans to attend a Russian MMA event.
Living legend fedor Emelianenko‘s return from retirement on November 20, 2011 na M-1 Global: Fedor vs. Monson drew 22,000 Fanúšikovia, dropped to third place on the all-time Russian MMA live attendance list.

SAINT PETERSBURG, Rusko (Septembra 5, 2018) – Fighting in the UFC is a dream come true for undefeated M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Artem Frolov (11-0-0, M-1: 8-0-0), who will make his UFC debut September 15, fighting on the UFC Moscow card at Olympic Stadium in Moscow.

 

 

 

Frolov recently agreed on short notice (2 weeks) to replace injured Omari Ashkedov against veteran American fighter C.B. “Doberman” Dollaway (17-8-0).

 

 

 

Fighting at home in Russia, the 26-year-old Frolov won his M-1 Challenge title belt last October, when he took a unanimous decision from Caio Magalhaes na M-1 Challenge 84. This past June at M-1 Challenge 93, Frolov made his first and lone title defense to date against Joe Riggs, who suffered a knee injury that led to a doctor’s stoppage in the second round.

How long have you working on a deal to sign with UFC?

 

 

 

AF: “My manager has been working on signing me with the UFC for a while, but until the last few days, we had no solid agreement. A few days ago, they finally offered me a contract and asked to step in to replace an injured fighter at UFC Moscow.

 

 

 

“I thought it over and decided it was a great opportunity to join the UFC, which I did not want to miss. I would not say this contract was a surprise for me, people have been working on it, so I was ready.”

 

How does it feel to sign with UFC?

 

 

 

AF: “I’m excited to sign with the best promotion in the world, but I know that my debut fight won’t be easy, I’m stepping in on a short notice just two weeks before the show. I was going to defend my belt in M-1 Global in a couple months, so now I need to cut weight fast. The most difficult thing is not just to cut weight, but afterwards to recover well. In the UFC, IVs are banned and you have to be extremely careful with supplements you take to recover.”

What shape are you in for this fight considering only two-week’s notice?

 

 

 

AF: “I was preparing for a fight in M-1 Global, so I’m in good shape. We are going to work on my speed now but first, I have to cut weight. Once in my career I took a fight on a short notice, I had three weeks to prepare and I won that fight by TKO in the second round.”

 

What do you know about your opponent, C.B. Dollaway?

 

 

 

AF: “I’ve seen a couple of C.B. Dollaway’s UFC fights, but I have never considered him as my opponent, so did not pay too much attention to him. There are many good fighters in the UFC, so I can’t say that I know a lot about my opponent. We don’t have not enough time to concentrate on him, so we’ll concentrate on me.”

 

When do you feel you can challenge the top UFC fighters in your weight class?

 

 

 

AF: “I’m not going to demand huge fights with the top opponents in the UFC. I’ll take my time and be ready to fight any opponent they’ll give me. I need time to get used to new conditions, tune up my preparation, and put in order the whole system and then I will be ready for any challenges.

 

 

 

“Everything is in our hands; nothing is impossible. If someone wants something badly, sets a goal and works hard to achieve it, he or she will succeed. I’m just a regular guy who had a dream to fight in the UFC and I made it. Dream big, set goals and achieve them!”

SAINT PETERSBURG, Rusko (Júl 18) – The Russian-Chinese investment fund, Investičná spoločnosť Mubadala, a Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) have jointly announced the foundation of UFC Russia. The new company will promote MMA and organize new shows in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). M-1 Global is going to be a partner, responsible for scouting and signing Russian athletes to prepare them to fight in the UFC. M-1 Challenge champions will have a unique opportunity to sign contracts with the UFC.

 

 

 

“We are looking forward to further cooperation with the UFC and the Russian-Chinese investment fund working on developing young Russian talents,” M-1 Global prezident Vadim Finkelchtein povedal. “This partnership will benefit our sport very much.
