The originally scheduled M-1 Challenge 91, Април 21 в Санкт Петербург, featured M-1 Challenge featherweight champion Khamzat Dalgiev against American challenger Nate “Влака” Landwehr, has been cancelled. Dalgiev vs. Landwehr will be rescheduled during 2018.

Doskalchuk (8-1-0, М-1: 2-0-0), биете от Украйна, won his title belt last September at M-1 Challenge 83, when he used a Guillotine Choke to submit Вадим Малигин във втория кръг.

The co-feature is a middleweight showdown between veteran Russian fighter Mikhail Zayats (23-8-0, М-1: 13-5-0) and past M-1 Challenge middleweight title challenger Caio “Хелбой” Magalhaes (10-4-0, М-1: 1-1-0), Бразилия. Zayats has fought in Bellator, Magalhaes in the UFC. Last October, Magalhaes lost his M-1 Challenge middleweight title challenge to champion Артьом Фролов by way of a five-round unanimous decision, хедлайнер M-1 Challenge 84.

The 33-year-old Kunchenko (17-0-0, М-1: 10-0-0), also fighting out of Russia, has been the M-1 Challenge welterweight champion for nearly two years, когато той нокаутира Мурад Abdulaev в четвъртия кръг на M-1 Challenge 65. The 29-year-old Landwehr (10-2-0, М-1: 2-0-0), who fights out of Clarksville, Tennessee, made his M-1 Global debut last September at M-1 Challenge 83, когато той спря Михаил Korobkov on punches in the second round. He made his own promo video, talks trash at press conferences, and broke out into an “ass whooping” song after his fight.

Russian Bantamweight Contender Nikolai Potapov Returns with TKO over Saltykov

Former NABO Champion and #2-rated WBO bantamweight contender Nikolai Potapov returned to action last Saturday night with a TKO 3 over his Russian countryman, Alexander Saltykov.

Fighting at the Floyd Mayweather Boxing Academy in Zhukovka, Русия, Potapov looked sharp while forcing Saltykov to stay on his stool after two rounds of pounding.

The 28-year-old Potapov holds a victory over former world title challenger Antonio Nieves and fought to a draw with Stephen Young, who is fighting for WBA Interim title this weekend.

“I am excited to get the win and look forward to challenging the best bantamweights in the world,” said Potapov, след мача. “Every experience is a lesson and I keep improving with each fight and training camp.
