NEW YORK (Ապրիլ 7, 2017) – One of the most respected boxing judges, Steve Weisfeld, and popular retired New York welterweight Johnny Turner will be Ring 8’s guest speakers at its April meeting, Tuesday night, Ապրիլ 18 (7 կեսօրից. A native of New Jersey, Weisfeld has judged more than 1,200 fights during his 25-yeear-old career, including numerous world championships all over the world. His last was the world middleweight championship bout at Madison Square Garden between Գենադի “GGG” Golovkin իսկ Daniel Jacobs.

Veteran manager Stan Hoffman Honored to be inducted into New York State Boxing Hall of Fame

A native New Yorker from Queens, Goodman has been a matchmaker since 1983 for one of the top promotional companies in boxing, Բոբ Արումը‘s Top Rank. A seven-time NABF Matchmaker of the Year, Brad will speak on The Art of Matchmaking. The first fight he ever saw was Muhammad Ali vs. Earnie Ածելի.

Farhood is being inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame this June. The popular Brooklynite, is the former editor-and-chief of The Ring and KO Magazine, in addition to being a veteran television commentator, including his current role for Showtime’s ShoBox: The New Generation since its inception in 2001.
