Azteca’s first MMA programming deal in history also
includes weekly series showcasing
Combate Americas’ fastest rising stars

NEW YORK/MEXICO CITY DF, Bulan Oktober 26 — Combate Americas, the premier Hispanic Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) waralaba olahraga, and TV Azteca, S.A.B. de C.V. RALEK GRACIE SET TO RESUME MMA CAREER WITH BELLATOR

SANTA MONICA, Kalif. — (Bulan Oktober 26, 2016) - Bellator MMA dengan bangga mengumumkan penandatanganan Ralek Gracie (3-0) to an exclusive multi-fight, multi-year contract.

These two bouts led to a highly anticipated matchup with Kazushi Sakuraba, where again the Los Angeles native left “The Land of the Rising Sun” with the victory. That was the last time Ralek would fight under MMA rules, until now.

“I was bred for hand-to-hand combat over generations and I simply can’t ignore that during my physical prime. CZ 60 TO BE WAGED SATURDAY, November 19

 

SALEM NH- (Bulan Oktober 19, 2016)- Tempur Zona MMA, the longest running mixed martial arts promotion in New England and one the most successful in the Northeast, is relocating its exhilarating events stacked with professional and amateur MMA and kickboxing fights to Manchester, NH and returning to its roots, co-owners Calvin Kattar and Jamison Kattar announced today.

 

After calling the recently shuttered Rockingham Park in Salem, NH home for the past eight years, Combat Zone is coming to the Armory Room on-site at the Radisson Hotel in Downtown Manchester.

 

The Armory Room is an exceptional venue that is perfectly suited to host the fights and it can accommodate comfortably up to 800 melawan penggemar. Finished with exposed brick throughout the room it’s a perfect fit for CZ Events!

 

The first event that will be at the Aromory Room at the Radisson will be Combat Zone 60 pada tanggal Hari Sabtu, November 19.

 

“I’m very excited about bringing the promotion back home to where it all first started at the Radisson. We feel the new location will allow us to make the necessary changes to appeal to a wider audience while continuing to provide action-packed fights for our loyal fan base,” said Calvin Kattar, who recently returned to action inside the cage and improved his record to 16-2 and his rank to #2 among pro featherweights in New England.

 

The Kattar brothers and matchmaker Ryan Fennelly are still putting the Combat Zone 60 card together, but fight fans can expect to be treated to the MMA Lightweight Amateur Title defense when challenger Gerald Meuse (4-1) from Boston tries to tale the belt from undefeated champion Dave Brown (3-0). Warna Coklat, who hails from Laconia, NH, earned the belt in his last fight when he beat the previously unblemished Shawn Melanson.

 

What shapes up as another terrific and intense match-up on what will be a full card of action includes the pro kickboxing fight between Ray Shawdee, who coaches at New England Top Team in Windham, NH and hails rom Lowell, MA, and Maine’s always fearsome Crowsneck Boutin. This fight has potential title implications for the winner.

 

Other expected and competitive, tough fights are MMA pros Jay Perrin 2-2 vs. Chad Kelley 4-2 matching up at 135 lbs. and Salem’s Nick Fiore (1-0) vs. Taylor Costatino (2-2) competing as amateurs at catch weight of 150 lbs.

Ingushetia, Rusia (Bulan Oktober 22, 2016) – Former two-time M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion Viktor Nemkov put himself in position for another title shot and Pavel Vitruk became the first M-1 Challenge Bantamweight Champion at last night’s entertaining M-1 Tantangan 71 di Ingushetia, Rusia.

Memphis (Oktober. 21, 2016) – The most decorated middleweight in Bellator history, Alexander Shlemenko (54-9, 1NC) returned to the cagemalam ini in a big way against Kendall Grove (23-16). The first round saw aggressive back and forth action with each fighter getting rocked. Shlemenko successfully utilized powerful spinning backfists and heelkicks to close the distance on the 6’6 Hawaiian. “The Storm” stalked Grove throughout the cage before ultimately connecting with a nasty combo that saw a left hand to the liver, followed by a right hand to the chin, sending his towering opponent to the mat. Both fighters exchanged great combinations throughout the entirety of the first round, with Matthews even wobbling Kato halfway through the frame. but was unable to capitalize, allowing Kato to regain his composure. A break in the action because of an accidental eye poke to Matthews allowed Kato to completely recover, and when the fight continued, Kato utilized his right kick to the body-left hand to the dome combination to send Matthews to the canvas, pouncing with a flurry of punches forcing the referee to call a stop to the action at 4:58 dari frame pertama.

CHIDI NJOKUANI-ANDRE FIALHO ALSO ADDED TO MAIN CARD OF ‘BELLATOR 167’ ON Desember 3

SANTA MONICA, CALIF. Njokuani made his presence felt early in his career, recording finishes in each of his first seven career victories, including six knockouts and six first round finishes. “Chidi Bang Bang” continued to see success with his knockout power, sebagai 10 nya 15 career wins came by way of knockout or submission. We can be sure to see some fireworks fly when Fialho enters the cage inside WinStar World Casino & Resort in Thackerville this December.

Lewiston, Maine (Bulan Oktober 21, 2016) – Perkelahian New England (NEF) mempersembahkan acara seni bela diri campuran berikutnya, “NEF 26: SUPREMASI,” pada hari Sabtu, November 19 di Androscoggin Bank Colisee. Sebelumnya hari ini, NEF executives announced the full fight card for the event which will be the fight promotion’s grand finale for 2016.

 

Dalam acara utama, “Itu” Ryan Sanders (10-8) akan bertemu Jon Lemke (5-6) in a professional lightweight bout. It will be Sanders’ first fight in Lewiston since November 2014. Much has been made of the fact that Sanders and Lemke are former teammates. The bout is considered a “dream match” by Maine fight fans, especially those from the Bangor-area familiar with the rivalry between Sanders’ camp Young’s MMA and Lemke’s camp Team Irish.

 

The co-main event of the evening will feature an interesting “pelatih vs. pelatih” pertarungan. “Pecah 2.0” Derek Shorey (4-7), head of the Shatterproof Combat Club, is scheduled to face Ruthless MMA & Boxing founder Josh Parker (4-8) in a professional featherweight contest. The amateur portion of the card will be headlined by a heavyweight title fight between Torehan “The Guardian” Gulliver (3-0) dan Selimut DeCastro (2-2). DeCastro stepped up to the plate to face Gulliver when no other heavyweight in the region would do so. Gulliver has been on a path of destruction, ripping through three opponents in a combined two minutes.

 

Two women’s fights are on tap for “NEF 26.” Jessica “The Black Widow” Borga (2-2) returns from Florida to meet Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Brianne Genschel (0-0). Genschel’s First Class MMA teammate “Hollywood” Hannah Sparrell (1-1) will also be in action against Fernanda Araujo (4-4-2).

 

Jay Jack and Amanda Buckner’s The Academy in Portland, Maine will send two new fighters to the cage at “NEF 26.” Chad Pierce (0-0) will debut against Shatterproof’s Lyman Curtis (0-0), sementara Phil Chiasson (0-0) memenuhi Rik Seymour (0-0) of 3Ronin Athletics.
