Irish amateur heavyweight champion Con Sheehan To make pro debut Jan. 19 in L.A.

“It’s been eye opening, I suppose, because Virgil is showing me the most simple of things, technically, that I’ve never seen before and it’s making a massive difference to me,” Sheehan said about being trained by Hunter. “My power has increased 10-fold with simple adjustments that I have learned from him. It was a bit of a shock because, I thought I’d cracked the technical side of boxing but he’s taken me to a whole new level.”

Melson Nominated for Most Inspirational of 2015!

A tall welterweight at 6′ 2″, James is undefeated as a pro with victories over Wayne Martell, Angel Hernandez and Mohammed Kayongo to his name. The 27-year-old out of Minneapolis has had a big 2015 that began with victories over Michael Balasi and Daniel Sostre and culminated with a hard fought decision over Juan Carlos Abreu in September. He will look to keep that momentum going when he fights in California for the first time as a pro on Январь 19.
A 2008 U.S. Олимпиец, the 25-year-old has an opportunity to make an impact in the welterweight division when he goes up against his stiffest test to date. He comes from a fighting family that includes his twin brother Oscar, a 2012 Мексиканская Olympian, and older brother Carlos. Fighting out of nearby Commerce, Калифорния, Molina stopped Lenwood Dozier in his last bout and has won eight fights in a row dating back to 2012.
