MONTE CARLO, Monaco (Abril 19, 2016)- Segunda Asociación Mundial de MMA (WMMAA) Celebrarase o Campionato Asiático Maio 27-30 no Hwasoon Culture and Sports Center na República de Corea do Sur.
O Campionato Asiático de MMA contará cos mellores loitadores afeccionados de MMA en seis categorías de peso diferentes.
“O Campionato Asiático de MMA deste ano é un fito importante para a nosa asociación,” Presidente WMMAA Vadim Finkelchtein dito. “Esforzámonos por educar a xente de cada país nos que celebramos campionatos rexionais. Esta vez non será diferente con máis persoas aprendendo a beleza das artes marciais mixtas. Tamén estamos organizando un seminario de xuíces e árbitros dentro dun proceso de certificación. Estamos ansiosos por este evento e esperamos que participen tantos países asiáticos como sexa posible.”
Un xuíces internacionais’ realizarase seminario Maio 24-27, certificar e acreditar aos xuíces. Só os xuíces acreditados poderán traballar durante os Campionatos Asiáticos de MMA. Os partidos preliminares e semifinais serán maio 28, seguido dos partidos finais do campionato.

A competición individual por equipos realizarase de acordo co establecido na normativa “Bases oficiais do Concurso de Artes Marciais Mixtas, suxeito á aprobación da WMMAA. Incluíndo as revisións, engadidos e aclaracións de determinadas cláusulas. Os partidos celebraranse segundo o sistema olímpico con dous terceiros postos en cada unha das seis divisións de peso.
A puntuación do equipo outórgase pola cantidade máxima de puntos obtidos polos membros individuais do equipo na seguinte base: 1st – 10, 2nd – 8, 3rd – 6, 4th – 5, 5th – 4, 6th – 3, 7th – 2, 8th – 1.
Todos os primeiros clasificados individuais recibirán cinturóns e medallas especiais de campionato, Os segundos e terceiros clasificados recibirán unha medalla e un certificado. Os equipos que finalicen entre os tres primeiros na clasificación final recibirán copas e certificados.

Lewiston’s Matt Denning is coming off the first loss of his professional career this past November against Jon Lemke (5-4). Denning acknowledges personal issues have existed in the past between he and Harvey, culminating in a cageside confrontation between the two athletes at the close of “NEF XV” in the fall of 2014.

 

“I’m honored to have been asked specifically for this fight,” dixo Denning. “Josh is the 155 ammy champ and is an amazing fighter. I’m excited to watch him continue his career as a pro and move up to the top of the professional rankings. We had some personal issues between the two of us because of a poor decision I made, and I hope with us fighting it will clear the air and I’ll be able to cross train with him and Young’s MMA. We gotta give the fans what they want and this is what they wanted. I look forward to seeing everyone April 23rd.”

 

The bout will indeed be the professional debut for Harvey after an amateur career in which he went 5-1. He is the reigning NEF MMA Amateur Lightweight Champion, a title which he will now vacate as a professional. Harvey capped off his amateur stint with a highlight reel knockout over Ryan Dibartolomeo (4-4), a victory that solidified his position as the northeast region’s top-ranked amateur lightweight. Harvey is a member of Young’s MMA in Bangor, Maine. He recently signed a long-term NEF developmental deal.

O Congreso brindou unha rara oportunidade para que toda a familia panamericana de WMMAA colaborase con asociacións especiais como Cámara de Comercio de Albuquerque Hispano e Consulado de México en Albuquerque, Departamento de Educación Global da Universidade de Novo México. Membros de PANAM, representantes de federacións nacionais, Comisións, Asociación e o Comité Organizador do Campionato Panamericano WMMAA (OCPC), así como deportistas, adestradores, medios, patrocinadores e outras partes interesadas para reunirse e discutir temas de importancia para todo o movemento MMA.
No seu discurso de clausura do Congreso, Presidente da División Panamericana Tomas Yu homenaxeou a excelente colaboración entre os membros panamericanos.

Os participantes escoitaron a moitos relatores respectados, como o director do Comité de Saúde Curt Chávez de eVOLV Strong, Héctor Molina, Director do Comité Regulador PANAM e Director do Comité Médico PANAM, Dr. Só Pavía. O congreso tivo interesantes debates sobre os seguintes temas: atletas, 2016 Expo MMA, estrutura do “WMMAA Movemento Panamericano”, funcionarios mundiais’ licenza e base de datos, nova era da revolución do marketing deportivo dixital, eo 2016 Campionatos Panamericanos.

Cada día dividiuse en dúas sesións xerais cunha media xornada dedicada a debates sobre Normas e Regulamentos para PANAM. As sesións plenarias foron seguidas de tres sesións grupais simultáneas sobre subtemas respectivos.

Todas as sesións foron transmitidas en directo a través de Internet para permitir que o público en xeral escoitase as discusións como aconteceu.
Dúas sesións comezaron coas presentacións dun panel de relatores. Os moderadores de cada panel foron entón os responsables do período de discusión seguinte, que brindou aos participantes a oportunidade de expresar as súas opinións sobre cuestións. Os puntos principais de cada sesión foron coidadosamente rexistrados por“ENLACE” – o novo programa correspondente exclusivo da WMMAA – informar ao Comité Editorial dos debates ao final de cada xornada. O documento final reflectiu as principais ideas que saíron do proceso en Albuquerque, así como información recollida a través do Congreso Panamericano virtual WMMAA, permitindo á familia e ao público panamericano de WMMAA presentar contribucións escritas.
A misión do 2016 O Congreso Panamericano da WMMAA debía reunir deportes, turismo e educación para unha fronte unida e revisar o estado do Movemento WMMAA PANAM na sociedade global en evolución actual. Recolliuse información e buscáronse opinións sobre o seu futuro, ademais de proporcionar estrutura, orientación, propostas e recomendacións a todos os constituíntes e outras partes interesadas do Movemento WMMAA PANAM para o seu escaparate estruturado e o seu desenvolvemento harmónico dentro da comunidade xuvenil global.

GLOVER AND WILLIAMS TO FACE OFF FOR NEF GOLD

Prior to competing in MMA, Ryan Glover was a standout dual sport athlete at Mountain Valley High School in Rumford, Maine. A state champion wrestler, Glover made his biggest mark on the football field where he was named the “Football Player of the Year” by the Lewiston Sun Journal in 2010.

I dropped the ball that night and you can rest assured that’s not going to happen again. Mike Williams took a collective gasp out of the Androscoggin Bank Colisee when he came out guns blazing in his debut at “NEF XX: A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE” last November. Williams, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) blue belt and member of Central Maine Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (CMBJJ) en Auburn, blasted fellow newcomer Joe Krech (0-1) out of the gate before securing a fight-ending armbar in a spectacular 26-seconds into the first round. The dizzying debut was enough to earn the impressive young Williams a shot at NEF gold.

NEF TO OPEN 2016 WITH SPECTACULAR FIGHT CARD

The fight card is scheduled to feature both mixed-martial-arts (MMA) e combates de boxeo profesional. hoxe cedo, NEF announced the full fight card for the event which will be the fight promotion’s first of 2016.

 

A pair of professional boxing bouts will be featured on the main card of the evening. Joel “Baby Bull” Bispo (0-0-1) returns to action after more than a year’s absence to face MMA regular Crowsneck Boutin (0-0) in a light-heavyweight four-round bout. Northeast Junior Welterweight Champion Brandon “O Canón” Baga (10-1) will attempt to make it three wins in a row when he steps in the ring to face undefeated Tollison Lewis (2-0) in a six-round, non-title, super-welterweight contest. Both Berry and Lewis are coming off wins in the boxing ring at “NEF XX” en novembro pasado.

 

The professional portion of the MMA card will be headlined by the long-awaited meeting between Bruce “Pretty Boy” Boyington (12-8) e Jon Lemke (5-3). Dubbed “The Battle for Bangor,” with both men living and training in the Bangor, Maine area, Boyington’s NEF MMA Professional Lightweight Title will be on the line. Number-one contender Lemke will be looking to capture the first championship of his MMA career.

 

The co-main event of the evening on the professional MMA card will see local Lewiston-Auburn favorite Jesse “O Viking” Erickson (6-4) asumindo Devin Powell (4-1) in a lightweight matchup. Powell returns to the NEF cage for the first time since May 2014, while Erickson will be looking for his fourth consecutive win in Lewiston.

 

A total of three title fights will headline the amateur MMA side of the card. Young’s MMA standout Josh Harvey (5-1) defends his lightweight title against Florida’s Andrew “Ling-Ling” Tamayo (8-1). Caleb Farrington (3-0) eRicky Dexter (4-2) will decide the first-ever NEF MMA Amateur Welterweight Champion, mentres Henry Clark (3-1) e Johnny Crafts (3-0) meet to determine the inaugural amateur bantamweight titleholder.

 

Alén, Erin Lamonte (5-0) e Randi Beth Boyington (1-2) are scheduled to face off in a women’s MMA bout. It will be a rematch of a contest won by Lamonte at “NEF XX.” Boyington’s supporters in the audience felt that the referee stopped the bout prematurely as Boyington was about to break out of, or had already broken out of, Lamonte’s armbar submission. After much back and forth among their respective supporters on social media, the rematch is expected to settle the issue once and for all.
