Murphys Boxing is proud to announce their return to MGM Springfield for a special outdoor matinee event on Lördag, Augusti 17, 2019 that will be broadcast live on UFC Fight Pass.


I main event, NABA Light Heavyweight Champion, Charles Foster (18-0, 9 Kos) will defend his title for the fourth time in a 10 round bout against Russian power puncher,Denis Grachev (19-7-1, 10 Kos).



Foster, who hails from nearby New Haven, Connecticut is ranked #10 in the world by denWBA and is coming off an impressive stoppage victory over Chicago’s once beaten, Mike Jiminez detta tidigare mars.


Grachev known as ‘Drago’s Son’, is currently on a 3 fight win streak in 2019 and an upset win over Foster would immediately land the Russian back into the world rankings.


“I’m excited to be in the main event at an amazing venue like MGM Springfield.”, explains Foster, the confident southpaw who goes by the nickname, ‘The Truth’.


“I truly feel I am ready to take on anyone in the Top 10. I want to be in position for a shot at a world title next year. On August 17th, I intend to make a statement to the rest of the light heavyweight division by defending my title and stopping Grachev.”


I 10 round co-main event one of Murphys Boxing’s most popular fighters, Irish heavyweight sensation, Niall Kennedy (13-0-1, 8 Kos) will face one of his toughest tests to date, 2014 USA Olympian, Devin Vargas (20-5, 8 Kos) in a crossroads battle that will put the winner in line for a major opportunity in the red hot division.


‘Boom Boom’ who also serves as a police officer in his hometown of Gorey, Ireland has amassed a sizable Massachusetts based following having fought virtually all of his professional fights in New England winning the state’s heavyweight title in the process.


“I’m excited to be fighting at MGM Springfield. It’s my first time in that area [of Massachusetts] and what an event to be on, getting to share the bill with the talented Charles Foster.”, says the humble heavyweight.


“We are hoping it [the fight] will be for a world ranking and my opponent, Jag tror, is a former Olympian who has mixed with the top table and who I am sure will bring the best out of me. Training is going exceptionally well. I’m going to put every ounce of blood and sweat into making my little boy, MJ and my wife proud. I am honored and blessed to have Ken and Packie guiding my career and at 35, this is the year where I want to get myself into the top 20 and into massive fights and for that to happen I need to perform on August 17th.”


The undercard will feature several local fighters including:


Shelly Vincent (25-2, 1 KO), the pride of Providence, and a former world title challenger, will make her return in an 8 round featherweight bout against an opponent to be named.


Anthony Velazquez (7-0, 7 Kos), one of the most popular fighters in Springfield, will appear in a 6 round welterweight bout against an opponent to be named.


Derrick Whitley Jr. (5-1-1), who comes from Springfield’s famed fighting Whitley family, will face an opponent to be named in a 6 round welterweight bout.


Ray Jay Bermudez (7-0, 5 Kos) who hails from nearby Albany, New York, will appear in a 6 round super lightweight bout.


Two more additional fights will be announced shortly.


“Our first fight at MGM Springfield in May, which was also our UFC Fight Pass debut, was an amazing night and a total success.”, explains Ken Casey, founder of Murphys Boxing.


“For our return to MGM Springfield we wanted to take it to another level. NEF ANNOUNCES THE FIRST PRO FIGHT SIGNED FOR DEBUT CARD IN ORONO

PRESSMEDDELANDE: Orono, Maine (Juli 11, 2019) - New England Fights (NEF) will debut in Orono on September 7, 2019 at the Collins Center for the Arts with the promotion’s next mixed-martial-arts event, “NEF 40: School of Hard Knocks.” Tidigare idag, NEF announced the first professional fight signed for the card. “The Jamaican Shamrock” Ras “Rasquatch” Hylton (4-2) kommer att ta på Chris Sarro (0-0) i en Cruiser bout.

Ras Hylton is coming off a big win last April over Charles Penn (0-1) in Portland, Maine. The doctor stopped that fight in the first round when a cut over Penn’s eye could not be closed. Hylton opened the gash with a straight right hand that left blood pouring down to the mat.

Hylton is a mainstay of the NEF heavyweight and cruiserweight divisions. The 6’6″ athlete holds a second-degree black belt in Shotokan karate. He currently trains with Dragon Fire Martial Arts in Portland and First Class MMA in Brunswick, Maine.

“I am quite fortunate to be at the point in my career when I’m called upon to introduce new professionals to our work experience,” said Hylton.  “Boxers like my opponent offer a great risk with their familiarity in the pocket and at distance, so of course we’ll both be more than happy to trade our best shots for the win! I love the arts, but it’s in the fighting aspects of martial arts that competitors like us truly live and find purpose. So we train like our lives depend on it, because to us, that’s how it is. Welcome to the school of hard knocks, Chris. MMA 101 is now in session.”

As noted by Hylton, his opponent Chris Sarro may be a newcomer to the MMA cage, but he is no stranger to the world of combat sports. Sarro made a name for himself as an amateur boxer with a record of 7-1. He captured the 2019 Northern New England Golden Gloves championship in the superheavyweight division. A native of Ellsworth, Maine, Sarro currently represents Acadia Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

“I’m just excited to fight close to home,” said Sarro.  “Orono feels like my backyard. Come September 7th, I’m going to show the world there’s a new heavyweight in town. This is my time.”

NEW YORK - juli 9, 2019 –Svenska tungvikten Otto Wallin säger att han har för många fysiska fördelar, medan den tidigare världstitelutmanaren BJ Flores säger att han har för mycket erfarenhet för att förlora deras kommande tio-runda kollision.



WBA Nej. 5-rankade Wallin (20-0, 13 Kos) och Flores (34-4-1, 21 Kos) kommer att träffas på fredagen, Juli 12, i det medföljande anfallet av a ShoBox: Den nya generationen tripleheader telecast (leva på SHOWTIME 10 p.m. ET / PT) från Emerald Queen Casino i Tacoma, Tvätta.

Den 28-åriga Wallin, en södra tass från Sundsvall, Sverige, säger att han har utökat sina horisonter och arbetat med tränaren Joey Gamache på Mendez Boxing på Manhattan.



”Träningen har varit väldigt bra. Jag har varit tillbaka i New York i sex veckor nu och jag har haft några bra sparring med många olika killar och olika stilar,”Sa 28-åriga Wallin. ”Sparring är den bästa träningen du kan få. Det är det mest som en kamp, så att bara komma in med alla dessa olika killar är en fantastisk upplevelse. ”



Den obesegrade Wallin säger att han har fått för mycket av allt för tidigare cruiserweight Flores i denna kamp.



”BJ Flores är en kille som är erfaren, men jag vet vad jag ska göra,”Sa Wallin. ”Jag har verktygen för att slå honom. Han är bra som kryssningsvikt, men det här är en tung viktkamp. Det är annorlunda än att vara en bra kryssare. Jag kommer att vinna eftersom jag är en bättre boxare med bättre färdigheter. Jag är för stor, ung och stark för honom. Jag blir alltid nervös innan en kamp, men det är en del av det. Att vara nervös gör mig skarpare. Jag kommer så småningom att bryta ner honom. ”



Det har varit något av en virvelvindkarriär för Wallin, som blev proffs som den tunga tungvikt på det svenska landslaget efter just 50 amatör slagsmål. Tungt begagnat av promotorer för hans enorma naturliga talang, Wallin befinner sig nu signerad med Salita Promotions och i toppen 5 av WBA-betyg efter 20 pro slagsmål.



Han krediterar tränare Gamache, själv en populär före detta fighter, med mycket av hans framgång.



”Joey bodde tidigare i Danmark och det gjorde jag också,”Sa Wallin. "Det var där vi träffades för sex år sedan. Jag följde honom tillbaka till USA när han kom tillbaka och jag tecknade med Salita i början av detta år. Vi har en bra relation. Jag älskar honom som tränare och som person har han gjort mycket för mig inklusive att föra mig hit och göra alla dessa kontakter. jag litar på honom 100% och han litar på mig också. ”



Wallin säger att ha ett fantastiskt lag bakom sig innebär att han förstärker sin sökning efter ett världsmästerskap.



”Jag vill ha tre eller fyra slagsmål i år. Jag har inte haft så många slagsmål de senaste åren, så det är viktigt för mig att hålla mig upptagen. Nästa år, Jag letar efter en större kamp. Jag är väldigt upphetsad över allt som händer. ”



Den 40-åriga Flores, ursprungligen från Arizona, säger förberedelserna gick förvånansvärt bra för denna kamp.



”Träning kunde inte ha gått bättre,”Sa Flores. ”Jag hade åtta bra veckor med träning och har noll skador. För att vara ärlig, Jag trodde att lägret skulle vara tuffare, men allt studsade fint tillbaka. Jag har sparrat i sju veckor. Jag har vanligtvis något gnagande på kampveckan, men jag sparred 10 omgångar lördag. Jag sparrade fyra omgångar idag. jag har 22 rundar in sedan förra onsdagen och jag känner mig bra. ”



Blommor, en tvåfaldig världscruiservikt-utmanare, säger Wallin kommer att möta en helt annan typ av motståndare än de som han är van vid.



"Han har aldrig testats av en kille som trodde att han kunde vinna. Alla som han kämpade kom in som motståndare. Det är inte att säga att han inte är bra, men jag är den första kämpen på hans CV som förväntar sig att vinna och jag har varit med mycket bättre motstånd.



”Jag känner att jag en gång får honom i mellanrundorna och visar honom att han är med någon som inte ska någonstans, det är när vi får reda på vad han har gjort av. Min erfarenhet och spelplan är perfekta för att testa en otestad kille. Bara för att han är otest betyder inte att han inte kan slåss, men vi ska ta reda på det på fredagskvällen. ”



I motsats till vad de flesta krigare föredrar, Flores säger att han är glad Wallin är en vänsterhändig kämpe.



”Jag har sparat ingenting annat än höga SouthPaws. I själva verket, Jag har inte sparred en ortodox kämpe på nio veckor. Jag föredrar att slåss mot Southpaws. Det är bättre för mitt stansval att kämpa mot en Southpaw. Jag har aldrig haft problem med det och jag har aldrig tappat ett. "



Nu en 16-årig proff, Flores säger att han inte kommer att vara orolig om den yngre kämpen kommer ut med någon tidig aggression.



”Om han vill börja snabbt, det är ok. Jag bryr mig inte om de första två eller tre omgångarna. Den verkliga kampen börjar efter den fjärde omgången. Jag planerar att vinna de första omgångarna, men även om jag inte gör det, det spelar ingen roll förrän vi kommer i mellanrundorna. Jag kommer att attackera och vara aggressiv och gå upp och ner på honom. Ta honom till mellanrundarna och se var han är. Jag vet var jag är på. Jag har varit med de bästa tunga vikterna och kryssningsvikterna i världen under det senaste 15 år. Jag mår bra och jag är redo. ”



Barry Tompkins kommer att ringa handlingen från ringside med boxningshistorikern Steve Farhood och före detta världsmästaren Raul Marquez som fungerar som expertanalytiker. Exekutiv producent är Gordon Hall med Richard Gaughan producera och Rick Phillips rikta.

BROOKLYN (Juli 9, 2019) – An exciting lineup of action-packed undercard attractions will add to the Summer heat on Saturday, Augusti 3 live from Barclays Center, hemmet till BROOKLYN BOXING ™, i ett evenemang som presenteras av Premier Boxing Champions.

The event is headlined by Polish star and heavyweight contender Adam Kownacki and former title challenger Chris “Mardrömmen” Arreola meeting in the main event of FOX PBC Fight Night live on FOX and FOX Deportes. Pacquiao vs. Thurman Headlines Premier Boxing Champions FOX Sports Pay-Per-View Event from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas

“You’re going to see a world class performance on July 20 that has me standing alone on top of the division.” – Thurman

ST. PETERSBURG, FL. (Juli 8, 2019) – Keith “One Time” Thurman’s victories have always been the center of conversation. Even with nine championship fights and eight title defenses already under his belt, his Saturday, Juli 20 fight against Manny Pacquaio could prove to be the most significant, as he steps onto boxing’s biggest stage looking to capture a momentous victory.

Pacquiao vs. Thurman will pit the undefeated WBA Welterweight World Champion Thurman against boxing’s only eight-division world champion and Philippine Senator Manny “PacMan” Pacquiao in the main event of a Premier Boxing Champions on FOX Sports Pay-Per-View event from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The FOX pay-per-view begins at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT and tickets for the event, which is promoted by MP Promotions, Mayweather Promotions and TGB Promotions, are on sale now and can be purchased online through AXS.com, betalt per telefon 866-740-7711 or in person at any MGM Resorts International box office.

Coming off a majority decision over Josesito Lopez that ended a 22-month ring absence in January, Thurman (29-0, 22 Kos), 30, had won a close unanimous decision over former title holder “Showtime” Shawn Porter in June 2016 and a split-decision over two-division title winner Danny “Swift” Garcia in March 2017, adding Garcia’s WBC crown to his WBA version, before he vacated the WBC title due to injury.

Thurman broke down all of his title performances in anticipation of the fight that could cement his place amongst boxing’s best of this era.

KO 10 Diego Chaves, Juli 27, 2013, VID&T Center, San Antonio: The 24-year-old Thurman came off a near-shutout unanimous decision over former champion Jan Zaveck in March 2013 and faced an unbeaten Argentine interim WBA champion who was after his fifth consecutive stoppage win and had knocked out 18 av 22 motståndare.

Thurman traded early power shots, controlled tempo with his athleticism and boxing ability and floored Chaves with a ninth round left hook to the liver before dropping him for the final time with a right hand in the 10th runda. Chaves failed to beat the count as Thurman became a 147-pound titleholder.

“The Diego Chaves fight was the biggest fight of my career, elevating me to the WBA interim champion,” Said Thurman. “I broke him down round by round and landed a beautiful body shot in the ninth round and after that it was a matter of time. That was a fight that earned me worldwide respect and was the start of everything for me.”

VEM 9 Jesus Soto Karass, December 14, 2013, Alamodome, San Antonio:Soto Karass’ previous victory was a 12th-round stoppage of two-time belt holder Andre Berto in a fight that saw him rise from an 11th-round knockdown. Hurt by a hard right in the first round, Thurman recovered, flooring Soto Karass with a left uppercut in the fifth and again from a powerful combination in the ninth as the referee ended matters.

“Soto Karass was coming off a victory over Andre Berto which made it an important measuring stick fight for me,” Said Thurman, “He did open the fight by tagging me in the first round, but I dropped him in the fifth and again in the ninth and was able to finish him off for my first title defense.”


RTD 3 Julio Diaz, April 26, 2014, StubHub Center, Carson, Calif: In a one-sided beat-down, former champion Diaz took a knee from a left to the temple the second round and retired prior to the fourth from a body shot that caused rib damage. Diaz never fought again.

“That was a tremendous fight for me as the headliner in my first main event,” Said Thurman. “Diaz was coming off of good showings against Shawn Porter, fighting Porter to a draw once, and Amir Khan, whom he dropped in their fight. I also had the opportunity to make a statement. I did that by stopping him in only three rounds.”

UD 12 Leonard Bundu, December 13, 2014, the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas: A previously unbeaten 40-year-old switch-hitting veteran, Bundu (31-1-2, 11 KO) was dropped by a first-round right hand in a shutout victory (120-107 tre gånger) for Thurman who ended an eight-month ring absence and was recovering from an injured left shoulder.


“Bundu was a switch-hitting awkward fighter. I switched [to southpaw] on him in the first round and dropped him with a right hand,” Said Thurman. “I out boxed him and really gave the world a taste of how good of a boxer I am. It was an easy blowout.”

UD 12 Robert Guerrero, Mars 7, 2015, the MGM Grand Grand Garden Arena: Thurman entered this bout after having been elevated to the full champion before facing Guerrero (32-3-1, 18 Kos), a two-division title winner. He overcame a grotesque hematoma above his left eye from an accidental clash of heads, tappade “The Ghost” in the ninth-round, and lost a combined four rounds in PBC’s first ever main event.

“Guerrero had fought Floyd Mayweather and I was happy to have a common opponent with Floyd, so that I could prove to the world that I deserved a shot at Mayweather,” Said Thurman. “I had to overcome that adversity of having that hematoma by knocking him down in the ninth round. That fight really raised my stock to another level.”

RTD 7 Luis Collazo, Juli 11, 2015, USF Sundome, Tampa: Thurman overcame a crippling left hand to the liver in the fifth round to become only the man to stop Collazo, a former champion who had gone the distance in losses to Ricky Hatton, Shane Mosley, Andre Berto and Amir Khan. In a homecoming fight, Thurman opened a deep gash over Collazo’s right eye with his own left hook, eventually resulting in the southpaw’s retiring on his stool after the seventh round.

“I was able to survive that body shot to perform in the next round. The fight was taking its toll on him though. I was becoming more comfortable and accurate as I physically broke him down,” Said Thurman. “The arena was electric, and the love was amazing. It was a great homecoming to defend my world title near where I grew up in Clearwater, Florida.”

UD 12 Shawn Porter, Juni 25, 2016, Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York:Thurman overcame a bullish former champion in Porter (26-2-1, 16 Kos) before an electric crowd, winning a give-and-take, blood-and-guts brawl by scores of 115-113, på alla tre domare’ kort. Highlights were Thurman’s clean right hand-left hook combination that buckled Porter’s knees late in the third round, a 10th-round left hook that did the same, and an even more vicious head-swiveling hook in Round 11 of a Fight of The Year standout from 2016.

“Guerrero had fought Floyd Mayweather and I was happy to have a common opponent with Floyd, so that I could prove to the world that I deserved a shot at Mayweather,” Said Thurman. “I had to overcome that adversity of having that hematoma by knocking him down in the ninth round. That fight really raised my stock to another level.”

RTD 7 Luis Collazo, Juli 11, 2015, USF Sundome, Tampa: Thurman overcame a crippling left hand to the liver in the fifth round to become only the man to stop Collazo, a former champion who had gone the distance in losses to Ricky Hatton, Shane Mosley, Andre Berto and Amir Khan. In a homecoming fight, Thurman opened a deep gash over Collazo’s right eye with his own left hook, eventually resulting in the southpaw’s retiring on his stool after the seventh round.

“I was able to survive that body shot to perform in the next round. The fight was taking its toll on him though. I was becoming more comfortable and accurate as I physically broke him down,” Said Thurman. “The arena was electric, and the love was amazing. It was a great homecoming to defend my world title near where I grew up in Clearwater, Florida.”

UD 12 Shawn Porter, Juni 25, 2016, Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York:Thurman overcame a bullish former champion in Porter (26-2-1, 16 Kos) before an electric crowd, winning a give-and-take, blood-and-guts brawl by scores of 115-113, på alla tre domare’ kort. Highlights were Thurman’s clean right hand-left hook combination that buckled Porter’s knees late in the third round, a 10th-round left hook that did the same, and an even more vicious head-swiveling hook in Round 11 of a Fight of The Year standout from 2016.

“Our fight was tough, back and forth, but by no means was Shawn Porter going to take my title,” Said Thurman. “I pushed myself over the final rounds to make sure I’d be victorious in what was one of the ‘Fight of The Year’ contenders that year. That fight proved to everyone that I can win any type of fight, against any type of fighter.”

SD 12 Danny Garcia, Mars 4, 2017, Barclays Center: Thurman won a clash of 28-year-olds over the then unbeaten Garcia (33-0, 19 Kos), along with the WBC’s crown in just the 10th title unification in division history and only the third between a pair of unbeaten fighters. The crowd of 16,533 represented the highest attended boxing match at Barclays Center to date. Thurman’s movement disrupted the timing of Garcia, a Philadelphia-based fighter who was a unified champion at 140-pounds.

“This was two undefeated welterweights going toe-to-toe in the prime of their careers. Danny Garcia’s a sharp puncher who won the WBC’s vacant title that Floyd Mayweather gave up for retirement,” Said Thurman. “But after beating Shawn Porter, I knew Danny would be an easy fight. This was my first chance to beat an undefeated world champion, and I came out swinging on him in round one to make a statement that his world title was about to be mine.”

MD 12 Josesito Lopez, Januari 26, 2019, Barclays Center: Thurman ended an injury-hampered 22-month ring absence against Lopez (36-8, 19 Kos), scoring a second-round knockdown with a left hook, being hurt by a right hand in the seventh, and using his mobility and athleticism down the stretch for the victory.

“I was really nervous about making weight after walking around at 182 for the past two years,” Said Thurman. “But even though I got hit and hurt in the seventh round, I knew my boxing ability would get me through. It was a relief to make it through that fight feeling strong and healthy and I’ve taken those feelings right into this training camp.”

Manny Pacquiao (61-7-2, 39 Kos), Juli 20, 2019, the MGM Grand Garden Arena: The 40-year-old Pacquiao has earned back-to-back victories over former champions by seventh-round TKO over Lucas Matthysse (Juli 2018) and unanimous decision Adrien Broner (Januari).

COLORADO SPRINGS, Lap. (Juli 8, 2019) – Tidigare boxning utsikter Lamont Ingram har överlevt helvetet på jorden, som inkluderade honom förlora nästan allt i sitt liv, och nu är han ge tillbaka till utsatta ungdomar i Jackson, Tennessee.


Förra månaden, Ingram valdes mest utstående Referee av USA Boxing 2019 Nationella Junior OS.

Ingram återhämtning är inget annat än otroligt, speciellt med tanke på att han gick från att vara en enastående amatör boxare, som tävlade framgångsrikt i nationella amatörturneringar, till hemlöshet, blindhet i båda ögonen, två misslyckade självmordsförsök och, tyvärr, mycket mer förtvivlan.

“Jag är inte längre skämmas över vad jag gick igenom eftersom det gjorde mig mannen jag är idag,” 38-åriga Ingram sa. “Mitt liv hade varit så hårt att jag skämdes för att prata om det så länge. Jag förstår nu att min kamp är mitt vittnesbörd för nästa person att se att han eller hon kan göra det om de fortsätter att försöka.

“Boxning är allt jag visste, men jag kunde inte se ut ena ögat (hornhinnan skada) som utvecklades vid en ålder av 19. Jag blev arg på Gud och ville gå i pension. Jag fick deprimerad och förstod inte varför detta hade hänt. I 2008, Jag blev hemlösa första gången med ingenstans att gå. jag förlorade allt, inklusive min familj, och gick sedan (lagligt) blind på det andra ögat. Sedan, Gud sa till mig att arbeta med barn, och jag öppnade också den ideella halfway house.

“Boxning lärde mig att aldrig ge upp oavsett hur hårt det blir. I 2013, Jag förlorade allt för andra gången: mitt företag, min familj, allt…..och jag gick hemlös igen. Men jag gav aldrig upp! Det följande året, när alla sa att det var över för mig, Gud gav mig allt tillbaka gånger två. Jag förlorade byggnaden var jag i, men till slut hittade jag en annan byggnad. Jag hade inga pengar och jag förlorade den byggnad i 2013. Gud gav den tillbaka till mig i 2016, När mannen som köpte den, gav den tillbaka till mig. Nu, Jag har bara två federala och statliga halvvägs hus i Tennessee för särskilda och allmänna populationer med mer än 50 sängar. Jag är mestadels på kapacitet hela tiden med män som har gjort 50 år kalender ner till dem som har gjort fem år.”

Ingram driver Second Chance “Ny början” Halfway House och Homeless Shelter, liksom Team Ingram Boxing & mentorprogram.

Jag fick min specialundervisning gymnasieexamen och senare tog jag från Kaplan University med en 3.7 GPA i Business and Chemical Dependency.

“De flesta barn (i boxning program) inte har råd med avgiften till vår sommarläger eller boxning program pågår just nu. Vi ger dem en gratis frukost och lunch. Jag tycker verkligen om detta, men jag skulle aldrig trodde att jag skulle göra vad jag gör.”

Team Ingram Boxing Club & Mentorprogram grundades 2017, efter Ingram långa kamp i samband med att han inte vill något att göra med boxning, eftersom han trodde Gud hade gjort honom orätt för att ta bort från vad han älskade att göra och var bra på, boxning. När hans amatörtränare, Collins, dog i 2016, Lamont beslutat att ta en större roll på gymmet, till den grad att han var där varje dag.

“Av någon anledning jag ville vara en del av det och hjälpa som min coach hade hjälpt rädda mitt liv,” Ingram förklarade. “Boxning hjälpte mig. Min tränare var mycket fast, strikt och mycket disciplinerad, men han har älskat oss och ville bara det bästa för oss. Vi har så många framgångshistorier som sträcker sig från de som ingen kunde hantera, till dem som hade F s i skolan, plus de som hade inget hopp alls. Dessa ungdomar är min värld; Jag ser mig själv och jag vet att förändring är möjlig, eftersom jag bytte.

“Det yttersta målet för mitt program är att ingjuta livskunskap som kommer att gå med varje ung människa under hela deras individuella liv som det har för mig. Jag förstår att alla inte kommer att bli en olympisk mästare, eller göra USA OS-truppen, bli nationellt eller världsmästare. De kan vara en pjäs som sår fröet som aldrig avgår den de sådde det.”

Ingram har varit ett registrerat USA boxning tränare och tjänsteman i tre år. Efter att ha blivit en nivå 2 officiell, Han valdes för att döma den sista dagen av den 2018 östra Qualifier, en sällsynt bedrift för en relativt oerfaren tjänsteman, minst sagt. I 2019, Han bedömde vid Västra Qualifier och rankas Nej. 9 ut ur 100, vilket är en oerhörd prestation för en nivå 2 officiell.

(Juli 8, 2019) – Miami via Cuba prospect Livan “Machine Gun Kid” Navarro’s eight-round welterweight showdown against Mexico City veteran Diego “Demoledor” Cruz will serve as the televised co-main event for the Friday, Juli 12, "Championship Fight Series” boxing event at Hard Rock Event Center vid Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Kasino Hollywood.

SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING begins at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT and is headlined by two-time super featherweight champion and Baltimore native Gervonta “Tank” Davis defending his WBA title in a championship homecoming against mandatory challenger Ricardo “Científico” Núñez.

Always in exciting and memorable fights, Martinez (30-3-3, 18 Kos) returned to the ring in March by knocking out William Gonzalez. Fighting out of Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, Martinez is a three-time 130-pound champion who has faced elite fighters such as Mikey Garcia and Vasiliy Lomachenko throughout a career that has also seen him defeat the likes of Orlando Salido and Diego Magdaleno.

“I’m happy for this opportunity and to have this chance to be near a world title fight again,” Said Martinez. “I’m training to win against a good fighter in Yuriorkis Gamboa. It’s a fight that will define my future and I am fully prepared to become world champion again, and this time in another weight division.”

The 25-year-old Miller (19-1, 6 Kos) har vunnit 10 fights in a row, including a victory over current world champion Jamel Herring, as he looks to earn a world title fight. Originally from Memphis and now living in Las Vegas, Miller began 2019 with a first-round knockout over Daulis Prescott in February and now has his sights set on earning a world title fight.

“I’m coming to make a statement on July 27,” sa Miller. “That’s the mindset I’ve been training for. I’m facing a former world champion and a win can solidify my name in the 135-pound division. I’ve been working hard and I know that Corrales won’t bring anything that I’m not prepared for. I’m excited to have this opportunity, take advantage of it and get one step closer to a world championship.”

Representing his native Panamá, Corrales(23-2, 9 Kos) won a 130-pound world title by knocking out Takashi Uchiyama in Japan in 2016, before defeating him by decision in the rematch. The 27-year-old returned to the ring in April to knock out Onalvi Sierra in two rounds.

“I’m very excited to have this opportunity and grateful that I have another chance to fight at the highest level,” said Corrales. “Miller is a very skillful boxer and I respect his abilities. I’m going to test him and see if he can fight off of his back foot. I’m going to prepare so that I have all the tools to get the victory on July 27.”

Brandon Adams Proves He Belongs on the World Stage

FILADELFIA / LOS ANGELES – Juli 1, 2019 -This past Saturday night, Brandon Adams announced himself as a top contender as he put on a gutsy performance against undefeated WBC World Middleweight Champion Jermall Charlo in Charlo’s hometown of Houston.


The bout was the main event that and was televised live on SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING®, in which Adams gave a strong account for himself.


Adams took some of the best shots that the power punching Charlo could throw, and not only was Adams never hurt in the fight, in the later rounds, he began to take the fight to the hometown champion.


“I was ready to risk it all. I went into the fight looking to dominate and get the stoppage victory. I knew going into the fight that is what I needed to do going into his hometown,” sade Adams.


Adams was not in the least intimidated by stepping into enemy territory, but there were a few things that happened during the fight that he did not expect which hindered his gameplan.


“The referee would not let me get low. As you saw during the fight, I was crouching down to get inside, but the referee gave me a warning for doing that. I had to think of a different way to get in there without revealing myself,” continued Adams.


Även, the television announcers and many on social media seemed surprised at the gutsy effort from Adams, the Watts, California native was very confident of his abilities as he entered the ring on Saturday night.


“Jag mår bra. I knew I was capable of being on that level. I took out of the fight is that there are a few little things that I can work on and that I could have done in there. I did not know the referee would not let me get low or even let us fight in close as much as I wanted. I felt he would break us a little quickly. I also got hit in the back of the head a couple of times. Fighting in his hometown was tough.”


“I know this fight will help me better myself. Coming out of The Contender, my goal was to fight at 154 pounds, but this was a world title opportunity. I proved that I am on that level at 160, and I will now look for the best opportunities at both 154 and 160.”


“We are very proud of Brandon. He fought very hard and put on a great performance,” said Artie Pelullo of Banner Promotions. “Brandon proved that he is a world class fighter, and now the world has seen what we already knew, that he is on the elite level. There will be many doors that will be open for him to secure more big fights.”
