WSOF28: MORAES VS. BARAJAS MAIN CARD COMPLETE WITH TWO NEW B0UTS

LAS VEGAS (Februariruary 1, 2016) -World Siri Pertempuran (WSOF.com) has announced the addition of two welterweight (170 pound) bouts – Jamie “The Chosyn 1” Yager (6-4) vs. Greg Parker (5-1) dan Ozzie Alvarez (6-3) vs.Andrew “The” Ramm (4-3) – to complete the live NBCSN televised (9 petang. ET / 6 petang. PT), main card portion of its WSOF28 world bantamweight (135 pound) championship event at Next Level Sports Complex in Garden Grove, Calif. padaSabtu, Februari. 20.

In the main event of the four-fight telecast, reigning World Series of Fighting bantamweight kingpin Marlon Moraes (15-4-1) will put his title on the line for the third time against ferocious contender Joseph Barajas (12-1).

The co-main event will pit two other bantamweights – red-hot contenders Timur "Lucky" Valiev (10-1) dan Chris “El Guapo” Gutierrez (8-1-1) – against one another.

Jamie Yager vs. Greg Parker

The 32-year-old Yager of Huntington Beach, Calif. will return to the cage after being sidelined for three years due to injuries.

A lifelong athlete who took up Jiu-Jitsu while attending Pasadena City College, Yager was the middleweight winner of the 2008 MMA competition reality television series, The Iron Ring, that aired on BET.

Bryce Mitchell vs. Jorge Medina

Four of 2015’s most action-packed events to air on New Year’s Day

Co-hosted by Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) icons and World Series of Fighting color commentators Chael Sonnen dan Bas Rutten, along with veteran play-by-play man Todd Harris, "WSOF: Greatest Hits 2015” will feature highlights from bouts recognized as candidates for “Fight of the Year,” “Finish of the Year” and “Upset of the Year.”

“This was an incredible year filled with some of the best action we have seen in the cage from our world-class athletes, so we are excited to be able to package the most powerful highlights into a phenomenal hour-long program for a broadcast television audience and deliver it to our fans who have the opportunity, beforehand, to vote for ‘Fight of the Year,’” said World Series of Fighting President Ketua Bapa.

Fans can cast their votes for “Fight of the Year” online at http://2015.wsof.com/. The winning bout will be announced on NBC during the ‘Greatest Hits’ program.

The show will include highlights from World Series of Fighting’s historic, first-ever, one-night tournament that saw eight fighters battle for the number one contender spot in the coveted lightweight (155 pound) Bahagian.

Teddy Holder vs. Shamil Gamzatov

Pemegang (9-2) daripada Bartlett, Tenn. is a former high school football star turned MMA machine who made his first big mark in the sport at WSOF19 on Mac 28 after being bumped up from the event’s undercard to a co-main event matchup with established star Thiago Silva, on the day of the event due to the withdrawal of Silva’s original opponent, Matt Hamill, from the matchup.
