NEW YORK (Febbraio 26, 2019) – Two undefeated middleweight champions went face-to-face Tuesday as Claressa Shields e Christina Hammer met in New York at a press conference ahead of their battle for the undisputed women’s middleweight championship Saturday, Aprile 13 in diretta su Showtime dal Boardwalk Hall di Atlantic City, N.J.

Cameras will be embedded with Shields at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo., and with Hammer in the town of Seefeld in the Austrian Alps as the undefeated rivals prepare for the most significant fight of their careers.

“This has been long overdue. I’m just glad that Hammer is here and the fight is set. She’s been at my fights before but I can’t wait to get inside the ring and show her I’m the real champion.

WBO Belted Yomar Álamo in Puerto Rico

Aguas Buenas – In an emotional activity held at the Aguas Buenas Urban High School, la World Boxing Organization (WBO), together with its president, Francisco “Paco” Valcárcel, Esq., delivered the WBO North America (PROSSIMO) Jr. Welterweight title to boxer Yomar “The Magic” Álamo which he won last Friday in Florida, after defeating Mexican Manuel Méndez by unanimous decision in an event promoted by All Star Boxing.

“When Yomar fought the previously, we were not pleased, Yomar’s people made the decision for him to train with Iván Calderón so that he learned some techniques that Iván had already used very well. Iván is the architect of this and I recognize his work as a coach who charge of polishing this diamond. As a fighter, Iván made 18 world title defenses in the 105 e 108 pounds of the WBO and will be a safe bet for the Hall of Fame”, Varcárcel said.

An excited Álamo said: “I am very happy with this tribute. This fight was for my people of Aguas Buenas and Puerto Rico, who so need moments of happiness. In un ambiente familiare di festa, la World Boxing Organization (WBO), attraverso il suo programma di successo WBO bambini Drug Free, biciclette consegnate, materiale scolastico e articoli sportivi per i bambini del Cubuy nella città di Canóvanas, Puerto Rico.

L'evento è stato guidato dal presidente WBO Francisco ‘Paco’ Valcárcel, Esq, Chuito allenatore di Gesù’ Ayala, e arbitrare José H. Rivera.

“Ogni giorno lavoriamo con i bambini per essere campioni del mondo sul ring o, ma ancora più importante, nella vita. Lavoriamo per essere disciplinato per la vita. Ringraziamo la WBO per aiutare in questo processo con la loro attività per i bambini, che sono il futuro”, ha dichiarato il tecnico Ayala.

WBO Presidente Valcárcel tutti detto presente che “il lavoro ognuno sta facendo qui è enorme. Aston Palicte (24-2-1, 20 KO) takes on unbeaten Jose “Chiquiro”
Martinez (20-0-2, 13 KO) in a World Boxing Organization (WBO)
junior bantamweight title eliminator on Thursday, Gennaio 31, at Viejas Casino & Resort in Alpine, California.



Palicte vs.Martinez will headline a soon-to-be-announced card in the 12-round main event, held on the Thursday night of Super Bowl week, in the Oak Ballroom. Viejas Casino & Resort is located 35 miles outside of San Diego.

Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico – Con il suo impegno sociale coerente, la World Boxing Organization (WBO), presieduto da Francisco “Paco” Valcárcel, Esq, e attraverso il programma WBO bambini Drug Free, portato gioia e regali per i bambini del ‘Centro Educativo: Giocare, Esplorare & Learn’e‘Hacienda Don Antonio’. Entrambi i centri sono situati nella città di Aguas Buenas.

Durante l'evento occupato che si è svolta nella palestra comunale di pugilato di Aguas Buenas, i bambini zaini ricevuti con materiale scolastico e articoli sportivi. Anche, motivazionale discorsi sono stati dati, biciclette stati sorteggiati, e il pranzo è stato servito per loro.

“Non abbiamo parole per quello che ha fatto la WBO per la nostra città. E 'stata la seconda volta quest'anno il nostro bambini ha visto la WBO in visita e ci aiuta. Dal WBO, diverso Valcárcel, consulente legale Gustavo Olivieri,Esq, tesoriere Adolfo Flores, e il Vice Presidente del Comitato Campionato Enrique Mendoza, Esq erano anche in l'attività.

WBO bambini Drug Free è un programma internazionale rivolto ai bambini e ai giovani al fine di effettuare un messaggio della prevenzione del consumo di droga e per motivarli a continuare a studiare e utilizzando lo sport come strumento per rimanere sulla strada giusta, oltre che supporto fa diretto a chi ha bisogno, al fine di contribuire ad una migliore qualità della vita.

PONCE, Puerto Rico – In un'attività emotiva e occupato di Natale, la World Boxing Organization (WBO) e il suo presidente Francisco “Paco” Valcárcel, accompagnati da ex campioni del mondo, prospettive, Del mondo WBO Jr.. Mosca Campione Angelo Acosta, campioni regionali, e altre figure dello sport sono stati consegnando doni ai bambini presso il Sor Isolina Ferré Center di Ponce, come parte del mondo di successo del programma ‘WBO bambini Drug Free’.

Un emotivo sorella Mildred Vázquez, Direttore Spirituale dei centri di Porto Rico, suddetto: “Il WBO e Paco Valcárcel sono stati commessi a noi per circa 20 years.There sono molti doni che verranno distribuiti agli altri centri che abbiamo a Puerto Rico. Dal primo giorno, che era molto tempo fa, Ricordo che Paco ci ha detto che la WBO non avrebbe mai dimenticarci. La sua azione è molto importante per tutti noi. Non dimenticheremo mai il grande aiuto che ci ha dato poi l'uragano Maria ci ha colpito duro; siamo molto grati”.

“Il rispetto per la scuola, rispetto per la Chiesa, il rispetto per i loro padri e le madri, rispetto per gli anziani e il rispetto per i loro coetanei. Il rispetto è il più importante la priorità nella vita, ha detto il nostro Salvatore”, Valcárcel ha espresso il grande numero dei bambini presenti. “Suor Isolina Sor sapeva sempre come moltiplicare il pesce e pane. È stata mandata da Dio. Essi possono contare su di noi ogni anno, il impegno continuerà, e li amiamo molto”.

Il campione del mondo Ángel “Tito” Acosta ha detto: “Molti bambini hanno lasciato felici con i loro doni e biciclette. Ho sempre dire ai giovani che devono allontanarsi dalle strade di concentrarsi sui loro studi”.

Partecipa l'attività sono stati Acosta, ex giocatore di basket professionista Javier “Toñito” Colombo, WBO Latino campione Luis FEATHERWEIGHT”Popeye” Lebron, Ad interim WBO Latino Heavyweight Champion Víctor Bisbal, gli ex campioni del mondo di Samuel Serrano, alex “nene” Sanchez e Angelo “Cholo” espada, insieme a pugili Alfredo “Salsero” Croce, Jean M. Rivera, Edwin “Mento” San Valentino, e pugile dilettante Bryan Rodríguez.

Anche nel caso sono stati i dirigenti boxe Margaro Cruz, Gesù allenatori “Tongui” Ortiz, angelo Vargas, Yoel “Yowy” González, e Felix Pagan Pintor, arbitri Jose Rivera e Hiram Ramón Peña; giudice pugilato professionistico César Ramos. Salamov Defends Championships with Unanimous Decision over Ghana’s Anim in Sochi, Russia

Di Sabato, Dicembre 1, at the Galaktika Culture Centre in Sochi, Russia, Umar Salamov will defend his Eurasian Boxing Parliament and WBO International Light Heavyweight Championships when he faces once-beaten Emmanuel “Horse Power” Anim in an explosive 10-round showdown.

 

 

 

Salamov (22-1, 17 KO), from Alkhan-Kala, Russia, is currently ranked WBC #10, WBA #13, IBF #7 and WBO #10 al mondo. Anim (13-1-1, 11 KO), from Accra, Ghana, is a former Ghanaian Super Middleweight and Light Heavyweight Champion. The fight will also be televised live in Russia on Match TV.

 

 

 

“I take every fight seriously,” said Salamov. “My preparations have been excellent for this match. I scored a KO in all my wins this year and I’ll do it again on December 1.”

 

 

 

Salamov caught the boxing public’s eye in North America last June with a brutal one-punch knockout over respectable prospect Brian Howard. With top-10 rankings by every major sanctioning body, it’s a matter of time for the 24-year-old slugger.

Deerfield Beach, FL (Ottobre 31, 2018)—Roberto Garcia wants to reclaim his WBC Silver Belt Championship and what better way than to match him up with England’s Liam Smith for the vacant title.

Garcia (41-4, 24 KO), who has been in training since losing his Silver belt to Martin Murray in a 12-round unanimous decision on June 23, is ready to take on the durable Smith (26-2-1, 14 KO) for the belt.

“I saw Smith’s fight against Jaime Munguia for the WBO Super Welterweight title on television,” said Garcia. “It was an all-out war and I feel that the two of us can bring the same type of fight and intensity into the ring for the title. I’m ready to go.”

Smith went the distance in Las Vegas with Munguia and lost his interim WBO Super Welterweight title, which he had won in beating Liam Williams on April 8, 2017 and defended in a rematch with Williams on Nov. 11, 2017 in winning a majority decision.

“Garcia is ready to make the fight with Liam Smith and so is his promoter, Don King,” said manager Lee Holliday. “Both of these fighters are true warriors, so let’s get it on for the title.”

All it takes is a phone call from promoter Frank Warren to Don King and the fight will be on.
