NUEVA YORK (Febrero 26, 2019) – Two undefeated middleweight champions went face-to-face Tuesday as Claressa Escudos y Christina Hammer met in New York at a press conference ahead of their battle for the undisputed women’s middleweight championship Saturday, Abril 13 en vivo por SHOWTIME desde el Boardwalk Hall en Atlantic City, N.J.

“This has been long overdue. I’m just glad that Hammer is here and the fight is set. She’s been at my fights before but I can’t wait to get inside the ring and show her I’m the real champion.

“I’ve traveled to many different countries and dethroned champions around the world. Al final de la día, I’m coming to fight and I recognize that she’s a great champion. Aguas Buenas – En una emotiva actividad realizada en el Bachillerato Urbano Aguas Buenas, la Organización Mundial de Boxeo (OMB), junto con su presidente, Francisco “paco” Valcárcel, Esq., entregó la OMB Norteamérica (LOS VECINOS) Jr. Título de peso welter para el boxeador Yomar “La magia” Álamo que ganó el pasado viernes en Florida, luego de vencer por decisión unánime al mexicano Manuel Méndez en un evento promovido por All Star Boxing.

“Cuando Yomar luchó contra el anterior, no estábamos contentos, La gente de Yomar hizo decisión de entrenar con Iván Calderón para que aprendiera algunas técnicas que Iván ya había usado muy bien. Iván es el artífice de esto y yo reconocer su labor como entrenador que se encarga de pulir este diamante. Como un combatiente, Ivan hizo 18 defensas del título mundial en el 105 y 108 libras de la OMB y será una apuesta segura para el Salón de la Fama”, Varcárcel dijo.

Un segundo evento principal ha sido añadido al boxeo profesional evento en Viernes, Marzo 1, al Hard Rock Centro de Eventos en Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino en Hollywood, Fla., y vivir en Boxeo Telemundo (11:35 PM ET / PT).

Shields was the first American boxer in history – male or female – to win consecutive Olympic gold medals. La Flint, Mich., native turned professional following the 2016 Olympics and became unified women’s super middleweight world champion in just her fourth professional fight. Shields moved down to middleweight for her June 22 headliner on SHOWTIME, defeating Hanna Gabriels to win the IBF and WBA titles and become a two-division champion in just her sixth professional contest. After Hammer was named WBC Champion in Recess due to her medical issue, Shields picked up the vacant WBC title last November with a unanimous decision over Hannah Rankin. She most recently defended all three titles in December against Femke Hermans.



Martillo, of Dortmund, Alemania, has been the dominant force in the women’s middleweight division since winning the WBO title in 2010. Hammer became unified champion in 2016 with a unanimous decision over WBC titlist Kali Reis and made four defenses as unified champion. In her eight years as champion, Hammer has lost just a handful of rounds across 16 peleas de título mundial. Martillo, who also models professionally and was recently featured at Fashion Week in New York City, made her U.S. debut on June 22 after campaigning mostly in Germany since turning professional in 2009. En un ambiente festivo y familiar, la Organización Mundial de Boxeo (OMB), a través de su exitoso programa WBO Kids Drug Free, bicicletas entregadas, material escolar y material deportivo a los niños de Cubuy en la localidad de Canóvanas, Puerto Rico.

El evento fue dirigido por el presidente de la OMB Francisco 'Paco’ Valcárcel, Esq, coach Jesús ‘Chuito’ Ayala, y el árbitro José H. Rivera.

“Todos los días trabajamos con niños para ser campeones del mundo en el ring o, más importante, en la vida. Trabajamos para ser disciplinado de por vida. Agradecemos a la OMB por ayudar en este proceso con su actividades para los niños, quienes son el futuro ", dijo el entrenador Ayala.

El presidente de la OMB, Valcárcel, les dijo a todos presente que “el trabajo que todos están haciendo aquí es tremendo. Gracias a gente como 'Chuito', que trabajan muy duro y desinteresadamente en beneficio de la niños, que son nuestra prioridad. Aquí les damos algunos regalos que pueden llevarse casa porque se portaron bien. Si respetan a sus mayores, comportarse bien, y respetar a sus padres, llegarán los Reyes Magos ”.

Participando en el evento fueron interinos Víctor Bisbal, campeón latino de peso pesado de la OMB, WBO Latino Jr. Peso welter campeón Jean Carlos “Lobo” Torres, OMB / NABO Jr. Campeón de peso mosca Wilfredo “Bimbito” Méndez, WBO Latino Jr. Campeón de peso gallo Yenifel Vicente, and WBO Latino Featherweight Champion Luis “Popeye” Lebrón. Palicte vs.Martinez will headline a soon-to-be-announced card in the 12-round main event, held on the Thursday night of Super Bowl week, in the Oak Ballroom. Viejas Casino & Resort is located 35 miles outside of San Diego.

El programa WBO Kids Drug Free impactó a los niños de Aguas Buenas

Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico – Con su constante compromiso social, la Organización Mundial de Boxeo (OMB), presidido por Francisco “Paco” Valcárcel, Esq, y a través del programa WBO Kids Drug Free, trajo alegría y regalos para los niños del 'Centro Educativo: Tocar, Explorar & Learn "y" Hacienda Don Antonio ". Ambos centros están ubicados en la ciudad de Aguas Buenas.

Durante el evento ocupado que tuvo lugar en el gimnasio municipal de boxeo de Aguas Buenas, los niños recibió mochilas con útiles escolares y artículos deportivos. También, motivacional se dieron discursos, se rifaron bicicletas, y les sirvieron el almuerzo.

“No tenemos palabras por lo que hizo la OMB por nuestra ciudad. Fue la segunda vez este año nuestro niños vieron a la OMB visitándonos y ayudándonos. En el futuro, esto reflejará en sus vidas. Nuestra gratitud es infinita. Gracias Paco, por este gesto de amor”, said the mayor of Aguas Buenas, Javier García Pérez.

“Gracias a alcalde por poner el deporte de su ciudad en primer lugar. Estas actividades sirven para motivar, pero lo más importante es que tenemos que ser consistentes en manteniendo eso. Esto no se hace de la noche a la mañana; este es un proceso que trabajamos con mucho cariño y a largo plazo, vemos resultados extraordinarios”, Valcárcel dijo.

El Latino Interino de la OMB Campeón de peso pesado Víctor Bisbal, WBO Latino Jr. Campeón de Welter Jean Carlos "Lobo" Torres, Campeón de peso mosca OMB / NABO Jonathan “Bomba” González, y WBA El Campeón Mundial de Peso Pluma Jesús Rojas participó como voluntario, junto con prospectos Yomar Álamo, Emmanuel “Tito” Morales, Alfredo “El Salsero” Cruz, Patrick Cora y John Karl Sosa. El boxeo amateur estuvo representado con el presencia de Alexamil Cotto, Tatiana Ortiz, Ryan Montes, Ramón Montes, Kenneth Molina, Ivan Silva, Yadel Hernández, Gabriel Menard, Joshua Carrión, Carlos Rivera, Carlos Díaz, Ángel Javier, Christian Rivera y Adrián Ortiz.

También estuvo presente el manager Orlando Piñero, trainers Álex Caraballo, Jesús “Tongui” Ortiz, Yoel “Yowy” González, Félix Pagán Pintor, Armando Álamo, Efraín Román, Eliezer González and Edwin Delgado. The professional boxing referees Luis Pabón, José Hiram Rivera, Melva Santos y Roberto Ramírez,Jr también estuvieron presentes, como así como el juez de boxeo profesional Luis Ruiz. De la OMB, otro que Valcárcel, asesor legal Gustavo Olivieri,Esq, tesorero Adolfo Flores, y el Vicepresidente del Comité del Campeonato Enrique Mendoza, Esq también estaban en la actividad.

WBO Kids Drug Free es un programa internacional dirigido a niños y jóvenes con el fin de llevar un mensaje de prevención del consumo de drogas y motivarlos a seguir estudiando y usar el deporte como herramienta para mantenerse en el camino correcto, además de que el apoyo provoca dirigido a los más necesitados para contribuir a una mejor calidad de vida.

PONCE, Puerto Rico – En una actividad emocional y ocupado de Navidad, la Organización Mundial de Boxeo (OMB) y su presidente Francisco “paco” Valcárcel, acompañado por los ex campeones del mundo, perspectivas, OMB Mundial Jr.. Flyweight Champion Ángel Acosta, campeones regionales, y otras figuras del deporte estaban entregando regalos a los niños en el Centro Sor Isolina Ferré en Ponce, como parte del mundo exitoso programa ‘Kids Drug Free OMB’.

Una hermana emocional Mildred Vázquez, Director espiritual de los centros de Puerto Rico, dicho: “La OMB y Paco Valcárcel se han comprometido con nosotros para todo 20 years.There son muchos regalos que serán distribuidos a los otros centros que tenemos en Puerto Rico. Desde el primer día, lo que fue hace mucho tiempo, Recuerdo que Paco nos dijo que la OMB no iba a olvidarnos. Su acción es muy importante para todos nosotros. Nunca olvidaremos la gran ayuda que nos dio luego el huracán María nos golpeó duro; estamos muy agradecidos”.

“El respeto a la colegio, respeto a la iglesia, respeto a sus padres y madres, el respeto por el respeto a personas mayores y para sus compañeros. El respeto es lo más importante prioridad en la vida, dijo nuestro Salvador”, Valcárcel expresó a la gran cantidad de niños presentes. “Hermana Sor Isolina siempre sabía cómo multiplicar el pescado y pan. Ella fue enviado por Dios. Pueden contar con nosotros todos los años, el compromiso continuará, y nosotros los queremos mucho”.

El campeón del mundo Ángel “Tito” Acosta dijo: “Muchos niños fueron felices con sus regalos y bicicletas. Siempre les digo a los jóvenes que tienen que alejarse de las calles para concentrarse en sus estudios”.

Participando en la actividad se Acosta, ex jugador profesional de baloncesto Javier “Toñito” Colón, Latino de la OMB campeón Luis FEATHERWEIGHT”Popeye” Lebrón, Interino OMB Latino campeón pesado Víctor Bisbal, los ex campeones del mundo Samuel Serrano, Alex “El Nene” Sánchez and Ángel “Cholo” Espada, junto con los boxeadores Alfredo “El Salsero” Cruz, Jean M. Rivera, Edwin “Barbilla” Valentín, y boxeador amateur Bryan Rodríguez.

También en el evento fueron los gestores de boxeo Margaro Cruz, coaches Jesús “Tongui” Ortiz, Ángel Vargas, Yoel “Yowy” González, and Félix Pagán Pintor, referees José Hiram Rivera and Ramón Peña; juez de boxeo profesional de César Ramos. Para la OMB, aparte de Valcárcel, asesor legal Gustavo Olivieri, OMB Tesorero Adolfo Flores, y el Comité de Clasificación de Presidente de la OMB Edgardo López Sasso también estuvieron presentes.

OMB Kids Drug Free es una programa internacional dirigido a niños y jóvenes con el fin de realizar una mensaje de prevención del uso de drogas y para motivarles a continuar estudiando, utilizar el deporte como una herramienta para mantenerse en buenos pasos, así apoyar causas dirigido a aquellos que lo necesitan con el fin de contribuir a una mejor calidad de vida.

En Sábado, Diciembre 1, en el Centro de Cultura Galaktika en Sochi, Rusia, Umar Salamov defenderá su Eurasia Parlamento boxeo y el Campeonato de peso semipesado Internacional OMB cuando se enfrente al una vez derrotado Emmanuel “Horse Power” Anim en un enfrentamiento a 10 asaltos explosiva.

 

 

 

Salamov (22-1, 17 KOs), de Alkhan-Kala, Rusia, Actualmente ocupa el puesto del CMB #10, AMB #13, FIB #7 y OMB #10 en el mundo. anim (13-1-1, 11 KOs), de Accra, Ghana, es un ex campeón de Ghana súper mediano y peso semipesado. La lucha también será transmitido en vivo en Rusia el partido TV.

Deerfield Beach, Florida (Octubre 31, 2018)—Roberto Garcia wants to reclaim his WBC Silver Belt Championship and what better way than to match him up with England’s Liam Smith for the vacant title.

García (41-4, 24 KOs), who has been in training since losing his Silver belt to Martin Murray in a 12-round unanimous decision on June 23, is ready to take on the durable Smith (26-2-1, 14 KOs) for the belt.

“I saw Smith’s fight against Jaime Munguia for the WBO Super Welterweight title on television,"Dijo García. “It was an all-out war and I feel that the two of us can bring the same type of fight and intensity into the ring for the title. I’m ready to go.”

Smith went the distance in Las Vegas with Munguia and lost his interim WBO Super Welterweight title, which he had won in beating Liam Williams on April 8, 2017 and defended in a rematch with Williams on Nov. 11, 2017 in winning a majority decision.

“Garcia is ready to make the fight with Liam Smith and so is his promoter, Don King,” said manager Lee Holliday. “Both of these fighters are true warriors, so let’s get it on for the title.”

All it takes is a phone call from promoter Frank Warren to Don King and the fight will be on.
