The 24-year-old Yusupov (6-0-0, М-1: 4-0-0), fighting out of Dagestan, Ресей, will be making his first title defense having captured his coveted belt this past May at М-1 Challenge 66, by way of a 5-round unanimous decision over defending champion Виктор Nemkov.
Yusupov (2 KO / нокаутпен, 1 SUB), representing Gorets fight club (Highlander), has three other victories in M-1 Challenge competition over Мартин Завада (DEC3), Mitry Madvedev (KO / TKO1 – Punch) мен Charles Andrade (DEC3).
Puetz, 29, has won six of seven M-1 Challenge fights going into fifth title fight. Vitruk (13-2-0, М-1: 7-2-0), fighting out of Saint Petersburgh by way of Ukraine, was riding a 12-fight undefeated streak to start his professional career. ORENBURG CITY, Ресей (Мамыр 28, 2016) – Last night’s М-1 Challenge 66 event had its share of upsets, leading with a main event split decision victory by Rashid Yusopov over defending M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion Виктор Nemkov, in Orenburg City, Ресей.

Russian challenger Yusopov (7-2-0, М-1: 4-1-0) won a hard fought 5-round split decision over defending champion Nemkov (23-6-0, М-1: 14-5-0), fighting out of Russia by way of Kazakhstan, who was making his initial title defense.
Nemkov had captured the coveted M-1 Challenge light heavyweight title this past December, taking a 5-round decision from defending champion Puetz, who had won a 5-round split decision April, 2014 against Nemkov for the title. Nemkov is a two-time M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion having defeated Василий Бабич (WSUB3 – қол құлыптау) for the vacant title that he then lost in his first title defense to Puetz.
The 23-year-old Yusupov was riding a 4-fight win streak going into his fight with Nemkov. A former Russian, European and World Amateur MMA champion, Yusupov is known as a dangerous striker whose signature moves are powerful kicks.

Korobkov (9-0-1, М-1: 0-0-1) is coming off of a hard-fought draw with Rodrigo Magalhaes(see above picture) last December at М-1 Challenge 63, in which he had his 9-fight win streak snapped that started with his pro debut.

M-1 Global also announced that former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion Стефан “T-800” Puetz will also return to action against M-1 Global-debuting Andrey Seledtsov.
Nemkov (23-5-0, М-1: 14-4-0) captured the coveted M-1 Challenge light heavyweight title this past December, taking a hard-fought 5-round decision from defending champion Puetz, who had won a 5-round split decision April, 2014 against Nemkov for the title. Nemkov (солға бейнеленген) is a two-time M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion having defeated Василий Бабич(WSUB3 – қол құлыптау) for the vacant title that he then lost in his first title defense to Puetz.
A native of Kazakhstan who fights out of Russia, Nemkov will be making his initial title defense of his second championship belt against Yusopov.

The 23-year-old Yusupov (6-2-0, М-1: 3-1-0), fighting out of Sochi, Ресей, has won four fights in a row to put himself into title contention. A former Russian, European and World Amateur MMA champion, unlike many of his fellow countrymen from the North Caucasus, Yusupov (төменде суретте көрсетілген) is a dangerous striker whose signature moves are powerful kicks. He is also a top-notch wrestler, evident by his M-1 Challenge victories against Charles Andrade мен Мартин Завада.
