Yusupov, 24 ans (6-0-0, M-1: 4-0-0), se battre hors du Daghestan, Russie, fera sa première défense de titre après avoir remporté sa ceinture convoitée en mai dernier à M-1 Défi 66, par une décision unanime en 5 rounds sur le champion en titre Viktor Nemkov.
Yusupov (2 KO / TKO, 1 SUB), représentant le club de combat des Gorets (Highlander), a trois autres victoires en compétition M-1 Challenge sur Martin Zawada (DEC3), Mitry Madvedev (KO / TKO1 – Poinçon) et Charles Andrade (DEC3).
Puetz, 29, a remporté six des sept combats du M-1 Challenge avant le cinquième combat pour le titre. L'Allemand talentueux (5 KO / TKO, 5 SUB) de Team Spirit fait irruption sur la scène M-1 Global 2 Il y a ½ ans, à M-1 Défi 46, quand il a défié le champion des poids lourds légers M-1 Challenge Nemkov qui s'est terminé par une décision partagée en 5 rounds en faveur du nouveau champion, Puetz.
Puetz a défendu son titre avec succès, en ordre, contre Louis Ferdinand(SUB2 – Choke) et Valery Myasnikov (KO2 – Poinçons), suivi d'un KO Super Fight (blessure au nez) du champion poids lourd M-1 Challenge Marcin Tybura au troisième tour de leur mai 2, 2015 combat sans titre à M-1 Défi 72. Puetz a ensuite perdu son titre face à Nemkov par une décision majoritaire à 5 tours dans le M-1 Défi 63 Lutte de la Nuit.
Pour revenir en conflit de titre, Puetz a remporté ses deux derniers combats contre andrey Seledtsov (DEC3) et Marcus Vinicius (SUB3 – Choke) en octobre dernier à M-1 Défi 71.

INGOUCHIE, Russie (Octobre 22, 2016) – Ancien double champion poids lourd M-1 Challenge Viktor Nemkov se mettre en position pour un autre coup de titre et Pavel Vitrouk est devenu le premier champion des poids coq du défi M-1 lors des divertissements de la nuit dernière M-1 Défi 71 en Ingouchie, Russie.
Kazakhstan-natif Nemkov (24-6-0, M-1: 17-5-0), sortir de Stary Oskol, Russie, a remporté une décision unanime en trois rounds de l'ancien champion Bellator Attila “Éteindre” Vegh(29-8-2, M-1: 0-2-0), de la Slovaquie, dans l'événement principal.

A native of Kazakhstan fighting out of famed Stary Oskol, Russie, Nevkov (23-6-0, M-1: 16-5-0) is a former two-time M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion. New M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion Rashid Yusopov
ORENBURG CITY, Russie (Mai 28, 2016) – Last night’s M-1 Défi 66 event had its share of upsets, leading with a main event split decision victory by Rashid Yusopov over defending M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion Viktor Nemkov, in Orenburg City, Russie.
Ancien M-1 Défi des lourds légers champion Stephan “T-800” Puetz took a unanimous 3-round decision from andrey Seledtsov dans la co-métrage.
Russian challenger Yusopov (7-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0) won a hard fought 5-round split decision over defending champion Nemkov (23-6-0, M-1: 14-5-0), combattre depuis la Russie via le Kazakhstan, who was making his initial title defense.
Nemkov had captured the coveted M-1 Challenge light heavyweight title this past December, taking a 5-round decision from defending champion Puetz, who had won a 5-round split decision April, 2014 against Nemkov for the title. Nemkov is a two-time M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion having defeated Vasily Babich (WSUB3 – le bras de verrouillage) for the vacant title that he then lost in his first title defense to Puetz.
The 23-year-old Yusupov was riding a 4-fight win streak going into his fight with Nemkov. A former Russian, European and World Amateur MMA champion, Yusupov is known as a dangerous striker whose signature moves are powerful kicks.
Puetz vs. Seledtsov was billed as “Terminator” vs. “Spetsnev” and it lived up to its name as Puetz won a unanimous 3-round decision. ST. PETERSBURG, Russie (Mai 2, 2016) – An intriguing fight between a pair of Russian featherweights, Mikhail Korobkov et Est Nagibin, has been added to the M-1 Challenge 66 événement, Mai 27 in Orenburg City, Russie.

Korobkov (9-0-1, M-1: 0-0-1) is coming off of a hard-fought draw with Rodrigo Magalhaes(see above picture) last December at M-1 Défi 63, in which he had his 9-fight win streak snapped that started with his pro debut.
Nagibin has reeled-off seven consecutive wins since he lost his pro debut. À M-1 Défi 64 ce passé Février, he won a decision over Andrey Lezhnev. Nagibin is known for his powerful kicks (voir image ci-dessous) and back-fists.

M-1 Global also announced that former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion Stephan “T-800” Puetz will also return to action against M-1 Global-debuting andrey Seledtsov.
Nemkov (23-5-0, M-1: 14-4-0) captured the coveted M-1 Challenge light heavyweight title this past December, taking a hard-fought 5-round decision from defending champion Puetz, who had won a 5-round split decision April, 2014 against Nemkov for the title. Nemkov (photo à gauche) is a two-time M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion having defeated Vasily Babich(WSUB3 – le bras de verrouillage) for the vacant title that he then lost in his first title defense to Puetz.
A native of Kazakhstan who fights out of Russia, Nemkov will be making his initial title defense of his second championship belt against Yusopov.

The 23-year-old Yusupov (6-2-0, M-1: 3-1-0), fighting out of Sochi, Russie, has won four fights in a row to put himself into title contention. A former Russian, European and World Amateur MMA champion, unlike many of his fellow countrymen from the North Caucasus, Yusupov (photo ci-dessous) is a dangerous striker whose signature moves are powerful kicks. He is also a top-notch wrestler, evident by his M-1 Challenge victories against Charles Andrade et Martin Zawada.
Puetz (13-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0), fighting out of Munich, Allemagne, successfully defended his M-1 Challenge title twice, after beating Nemkov in their original championship match, contre Luis Fernando Miranda (SUB2 – étranglement) Août 15, 2014 à M-1 Défi 50, et Valery Myasnikov (KO / TKO2 – poinçons) Décembre 17, 2014 à M-1 Défi 54. In a non-title fight this past May, Puetz stopped then M-1 Challenge heavyweight champion Marcin Tybura in the third round due to severely damaged broken nose.
The 28-year-old Seledtsov (5-1-0, M-1: 0-0-0) is a former Spetsnev solider who has a solid boxing, combat samba and MMA background. The powerful Russian is the local White-Rex promotion champion.
