Holyfield was the first and remains the only undisputed cruiserweight and heavyweight world champion. Coulter has been a boxing coach for more than 62 metų, continuing to conduct boxing clinics today around the glove. A national boxing champion at Syracuse University, Coulter also coaches the U.S. Army Boxing Team.

Field set for 2017 USA Boxing Women’s Elite National Championships

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO (Lapkritis 30, 2017) – Team USA women’s boxing hopefuls will be competing in the prestigious USA Women’s Elite National Championships, Gruodis 5-9, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Citlalli Ortiz Wins Welterweight Youth World Championship Title

Isamary Aquino Brings Home Bronze Medal

GUWAHATI, Indija (Lapkritis 26, 2017) — Coachella, California-native Citlalli Ortiz closed out her impressive 2017 Women’s Youth World Championships campaign with a split decision victory over Russia’s Nataliya Sychugova to take her first major international title in Guwahati, Indija.
“Today feels like one of the best days of my life,” stated Ortiz following her win. “Po kovos, I doubted myself, but I am extremely happy I pulled out the win and it feels amazing being a world champion.”
Ortiz gold medal closes out a strong showing from the young American delegation. Team USA’s other medal, a bronze, was won yesterday by Isamary Aquino of Universal City, Teksasas.
“I am extremely proud of my performance at my first international tournament,” said Aquino following her medal ceremony. “It was an honor to be able to represent Team USA and bring home a world championship medal.”
The remaining members of the team included: Aidyl Cardenas (Calexico, Kalifornijoje.),Diana Estrada (Hillsboro, Oregon), Heaven Garcia (El Monte, Kalifornijoje.), Roma Martinez (Humble, Teksasas), Sharahaya Moreu (Albukerkė, N.M.) ir Amy Salinas(Las Cruces, N.M).
This year’s Youth World Championships brought 160 of the world’s top youth female boxers from 36 different countries all vying for one of the 10 world titles up for grabs. Team USA finishes 1-1 on second day; six Americans to enter ring today
GUWAHATI, Indija (Lapkritis. 21, 2017) — Day two of the 2017 Women’s Youth World Championships in Guwahati, India brought two members of Team USA into the ring looking to advance one step closer to a world title.

USA Boxing Alumni Association Open for Registration

The reception, which will honor and celebrate the five inaugural members of the Alumni Association Hall of Fame, will be held on Gruodis 8 in Salt Lake City in conjunction with the 2017 USA Boxing Elite and Youth National Championships & Junior and Prep Open. The five inductees include:

Houston’s Historic George Foreman Youth and Community Center to Host 2016 Gulf Boxing Association Regional Championships

Premier event – Gulf LBC selects team to travel to USA BOXING Elite National Championships in conjunction with the Selection and Announcement of the First Inaugural George Foreman Youth and Community Center Elite International Travel Team!!
HOUSTON, TX (Spalis 10, 2016) -Starting with the ring of the bell on October 22nd, local area boxers will be fighting for a spot to represent the Gulf Coast Region ne JAV Boksas Nacionalinis čempionatas & į International Travel.
Weight categories will include: Pee Wee 8-9, Bantam 10-11, Intermediate 12-13, Jauniai 14-15, Youth 15-16, & Elite 18-40 in both Open and Novice divisions. Winners will represent the Gulf area at the 2016 USA Boxing Elite, Youth and Junior National Championships to be held in Kansas City Missouri Gruodis 4-10, 2016. This tournament is a sanctioned event through USA Boxing the National Governing Body of Amateur Boxing and is a feeder to National and Olympic recognition.
The George Foreman Youth and Community Center was founded 32 years ago in 1984 by Olympic Gold Medalist and 2-time heavy weight champion George Foreman. The GFYCC is dedicated to providing a safe and secure location for youth to participate in sports and after school activities.
“This year for the first time in Houston boxing history, we are developing an elite international youth boxing team,” said George Foreman, IV. “The team will be selected for the sole purpose of training and traveling to other countries to gain experience on an international platform and promote cultural diplomacy! Utilizing grant and donor funding this team will be representing the George Foreman Youth and Community Center and will be announced Saturday October 22, at the Gulf Region’s Boxing Championship. The team will be reviewed by my father, 1968 Olympic Gold Medalist and 2-Time Heavyweight Champion, George Foreman Sr. The first international trip for this new Houston team is scheduled for Jan. 2017.”
Doors open for the Gulf Gloves Championships on Saturday October 22nd at 11:00 esu with announcements and the presentation of the colors by the United States Army Houston Recruiting Command Baytown Beaumont Company at 12:45 pm. The national anthem will be performed by the internationally acclaimed Houston Brass Quintet! Boksas prasidės 1:00 pm. Championship finals will begin at 1:00 pm apie Sunday October 23rd.
Media open workouts for Houston amateur standout boxers will be held Wednesday October 19th at the George Foreman Youth and Community Center at 2202 Lone Oak Road Houston, Teksasas 77093 į 4:00 pm.

BOSTON (Spalis. 21, 2015) — JAV Boksas Naujosios Anglijos, įkurta 1880 kaip fi nių valdymo organas mėgėjų bokso regione, bus pagerbti penkis buvusius mėgėjų išskirti, kuris išvyko tapti pasaulio čempionai, profesionalūs boksininkai, Sekmadienis, Lapkritis 8 ne Anthony į Malden.
Vinny Pasas (Cranston, R.), Micky Ward (Lowell, MA), Joey Gamache (Lewiston, ME), Jose Antonio Rivera (Vusteris, MA) ir Jonas Ruiz ("Chelsea", MA) gaus apdovanojimus už išskirtinius jų pasiekimus į bokso pasaulyje.
JAV Boksas Naujosios Anglijos taip pat pristatys savo inauguracinėje Skeets Scioli Gyvenimo pasiekimų apdovanojimas. Scioli tarnavo kaip prezidento JAV bokso Naujosios Anglijos, išjungti ir, per Portretų 70 metų. Jis mirė 2010 tuo metų amžiaus 97.
Skeets Scioli apdovanojimas bus pristatyta referee / teisėju Mike Ryan (Tyngsboro, MA) and coach Carlos Garcia (Vusteris, MA) jų ilgą laiką indėlį į mėgėjų bokso sporto.
Al Bernstein, Showtime čempionatas Boksas komentatorius ir Tarptautinės bokso šlovės naujokas, tarnaus kaip renginio konferansjė. “Tai duoklė kai bokso geriausiai,” Bernstein sakė. “Naujosios Anglijos suvaidino svarbų vaidmenį bokso, ne tik čia, Amerikoje, bet ir visame pasaulyje. Esu sujaudintas dalyvauti šiame renginyje ir aš laukiu jungiantis su bokso gerbėjai tame regione.”
JAV Boksas taip pat pagerbti dabartinių sportininkų ir narių. Renginys yra Fundraiser padėti jauniems mėgėjų sportininkų kelionės išlaidas į regioninius ir nacionalinius turnyrus.
Renginys prasideda kokteilių 2 p.m., Po vakarienės 3 p.m. Gyvi ir tylus aukcionus kartu su RAF fl -ai vyks.
