LANCASTER, CALIF. (Mayo 31, 2018) – Rugged veteran heavyweight Travis Kauffman se enfrentará a Scott Alexander in a 10-round bout that headlines Liga de Campeones de Boxeo en FS1 y FOX Deportes action that features three heavyweight showdowns on Sunday, Junio 10 del Pioneer Event Center en Lancaster, California.

Also featured on the card is sensational super welterweight prospect Joey Spencer (2-0, 2 KOs) in a four-round special attraction.

Travis Kauffman doesn’t back down from anyone and there’s no doubt he’ll be looking to make a statement against Scott Alexander on Sunday, June 10,” dijo Tom Brown, Presidente de Promociones TGB. “It’s an interesting time in the heavyweight division and all the winners on this card will figure into the picture in a prominent way in the future.

Kauffman (31-2, 23 KOs) will look to boost his own contender credentials with a win after most recently dropping a close majority decision to Amir Mansour last March in Kauffman’s hometown of Reading, Pensilvania. Kauffman had entered that bout with a 14 luchar racha invicta, including dropping Chris Arreola in a fight that resulted in a no contest and a knockout of former title challenger Epifanio Mendoza.

“Estoy emocionado de volver al ring,” dijo Kauffman. “I have not been in the ring in a year and a half and I can’t wait to go in there and show that I still have a lot left. I am not going in there to win by decision. I am going in there looking to knock him out, because I am tired of leaving it up to the judges.

The 29-year-old Alexander (14-2-2, 8 KOs) has put together two straight victories since losing to LaRon Mitchell by unanimous decision in 2016. Luchando fuera de Los Angeles, Alexander is noted for his fast hands, and scored a TKO victory over Pedro Julio Rodriguez in his last fight on March 3.

I’ve been working hard preparing for a fight at the end of June so I jumped at this opportunity,” Alexander dijo. “I’m always ready to step into the ring and take on any and all challenges. I’m ready to make my mark. Mi tiempo es ahora!”

A EE. UU.. Navy veteran who also played tight end and defensive end at the University of Southern California, Washington (18-2-1, 12 KOs) will step into the ring looking to score a bounce back victory on June 10. Washington was stopped in his world title challenge last February against Deontay Wilder on FOX, although he was nearly even on the scorecards at the time, before losing a bout to unbeaten Jarrell Miller in July. Prior to those fights, Washington had been unbeaten in 19 pro fights with victories over a slew of veteran contenders.

Un Cherokee ciudadano nacido en Oklahoma y formación fuera de Miami, Nofire (20-1, 16 KOs) most recently scored a second round stoppage of Stacy Frazier last September. The 32-year-old was riding a four-fight knockout streak that includes stoppages of Yasmany Consuegra and Ty Cobb before losing his first pro fight to Joey Abell in 2016 en FS1 y FOX Deportes.

After representing the U.S. al 2012 Juegos olímpicos, Cazador (13-1, 8 KOs) turned pro and began rising up the cruiserweight rankings until losing his first world title fight to unified champion Oleksandr Usyk last April. The 29-year-old returned to action this April with a decision victory and will set his sights on a world title shot at heavyweight.

Kiladze (26-2, 18 KOs) was riding a six-bout winning streak into his January matchup with unbeaten Adam Kownacki that ended with Kiladze losing in six rounds. Representing the country of Georgia and now fighting out of Los Angeles, Kiladze will be in his fifth fight as a full time heavyweight on June 10.

LEYENDO, Pensilvania (Marzo 18, 2017) – In a 12-round heavyweight war that lived up to the hype, Amir Mansour (23-2-1, 16 KOs) was able to take a majority decision (114-114, 117-111, 115-113) over Travis Kauffman (31-2, 23 KOs) en el evento principal de Premier Boxing Champions: The Next Round on Bounce from Santander Arena in Reading, Pensilvania.

En la segunda ronda, Kauffman buckled Mansour with a hard right on the inside. The two fighters started round four with bad intentions as they each landed hard shots on the inside. Kauffman switched back and forth between orthodox and southpaw stances in an attempt to befuddle the southpaw Mansour.

By the closing rounds, both fighters began to grind out a hard-fought battle on the inside. In rounds nine and 10, it was Mansour who had more pep in his step, landing several hard blows to close out round 10.

Ronda 12 was a classic heavyweight slugfest, as Kauffman and Mansour stood toe-to-toe landing leather on each other for the whole three-minute period, with Mansour doing just enough to get the win.

Televised coverage opened with Chordale Booker (6-0, 3 KOs) de Brooklyn, New York getting a unanimous decision (59-55, 59-55, 58-56) over Moshea Aleem (4-1-1, 2 KOs) de Richmond, Virginia in a super welterweight bout.

The co-main event featured two-time welterweight world champion Kermit Cintron (39-5-3, 30 KOs) and David Grayton (15-1-1, 11 KOs) fighting to a technical majority draw after Cintron was deemed unable to continue due to a cut over his right eye.

En la quinta ronda, Grayton floored Cintron with an overhand left. Later in the round, Grayton nailed Cintron with an unintentional headbutt to the right eye, which opened up the cut that led to the end of the bout. Action was stopped at 2:53 de la quinta ronda.

TRAVIS KAUFFMAN

I got robbed. It’s plain and simple. Fue una buena pelea, but I thought I won by three rounds.

He landed a couple of shots, but I clearly outworked him. I thought I landed more and did enough to get the win.

AMIR MANSOUR

They thought I was old and would tire down the stretch, but I am mentally strong.

I give Travis (Kauffman) crédito. He stood in there with me tonight. But as I waited for the scores, I knew I won the fight. These were honorable judges.

“Quiero (Deontay) Wilder next. I am 44-years-old. I want my shot. They should give me my shot and try to get me out of the way.

KERMIT CINTRON

“Yo estaba ganando la pelea. Then he started to apply pressure and he caught me when I was off balance.

He kept coming in with his head, and he finally caught me good with it. I was fine and wanted to continue, but the doctor decided to stop the fight.

DAVID GRAYTON

I won that fight. I think he could have continued.

I was in control of the fight, but I was in his hometown, and you know how that goes.

CHORDALE BOOKER

“Fue una buena pelea. I needed this fight to see where I am. And I wanted to fight another undefeated fighter. It was a step up on national television.

I give myself a B- for my performance tonight. My movement was good, but I did not sit down on my power enough. It was a good learning experience though. I could not ask for a better platform to perform on.

MOSHEA ALEEM

I did not do enough. I waited too long to throw my punches and he outworked me.

The heavyweight brawlers Kauffman and Mansour will look to go through each other on their way to the top of the division. Here is what the fighters and their trainers had to say Jueves en Reading:
TRAVIS KAUFFMAN
This is a fight that has been building for a while. There will be fireworks in the ring el viernes noche.
I accepted this fight because of the caliber of fighter that Amir is. Ven a pelear la noche, it is going to be a war.
I made a lot of sacrifices for this fight. We have prepared for the best Mansour to show up in the ring. I can’t fall asleep for five seconds in this fight or else I can get stopped. I think that Amir is one of the most feared and avoided heavyweights in the world.
AMIR MANSOUR
I got myself a bottle of anti-aging juice. I’m ready for this fight and excited to give the fans another show.
“Me encanta el boxeo. I don’t fight bums. I love to make sparks fly every time I step in there. Everyone knows what they’re going to see el viernes noche.
This is a great opportunity for me as I continue my quest for the heavyweight championship of the world. Travis is a tough guy, and he has a scientist in his corner, pero no será suficiente el viernes.
Naazim Richardson, Kauffman’s Trainer
Mansour is one worddangerous. He is dangerous at all times.
This is not a comfortable fight. You have to be prepared to deal with a man like Mansour. We put together a plan to negate his attributes.
I am trying to fine tune Travisweapons. The Arreola fight opened eyes, this fight will open doors.

DANNY DAVIS, Mansour’s Trainer

Amir and Travis have sparred each other in the past and those sessions were very exciting and I’m expecting that same type of action in the ring el viernes noche.

This is going to be a great heavyweight brawl. These styles are going to clash for something great for the fans.

LEYENDO, Pensilvania (Marzo 14, 2017) -De peso pesado Travis “My Time” Kauffman (31-1, 23 KOs) has been training hard for his showdown with Amir “Duro” Mansour (22-2-1, 16 KOs) that will headline Liga de Campeones de Boxeo: La Ronda Siguiente en reboteViernes, Marzo 17 desde el Santander Arena en Reading, Pensilvania.

Y/6 p.m. PT

Kauffman trained in Houston, Texas with famed trainer Naazim Richardson, and is ready for the hard punching Mansour.

Evertything is great. I was in Houston starting on 20 de diciembre and I came home on March 5th,” dijo Kauffman.
I have been motivated knowing that I have a killer in front of me. Amir wants what I want, and that is a shot at the Heavyweight title.
Kauffman has sacrificed a whole lot for this fight, as he missed important family moments in order to give himself the best opportunity to put his family in the best situation in the long run.
I missed the holidays with my family. I also missed my sons birthday. I have never done that before. This has motivated me, and gives me such a mental edge and a bigger purpose for this fight.
Being that Kauffman and Mansour (who has trained a majority of his career in Philadelphia) are only geographically separated by an hour, Kauffman knew this fight was bound to happen, and always visualized a fight with Mansour.
I have always been confident that I could beat him. I was down in Texas working hard, and now I am in better shape, but I know when I win it will get me to the next level.

That next level would be a shot at one of the heavyweight champions, and just on February 25th, WBC Heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder took out Gerald Washington in 5 rondas, for which many thought the champion showed some flaws, which Kauffman thinks he could exploit more should that match up occur.

I watched the Wilder fight. I did expect Washington to present some problems for him, But Washington doesn’t have the experience. Deontay can punch, but Gerald showed that Deontay can be beat. He showed that Deontay is the most amateurish Heavyweight champion ever, but you have to give the man credit, él es 38-0 con 37 nocauts. He can punch and has a beautiful jab.
But before a fight with Wilder or one of the other beltholders, Kauffman knows he has a tough task in front of him in Mansour.
This fight will put me in the top-five. I just want to win this and fight one of the champions. I don’t care who I fight. I been working so hard in this fight so expect a better Travis Kauffman.

LEYENDO, Pensilvania. (Septiembre 10, 2016) – Middleweight world champion Daniel “El hombre de los milagros” Jacobs (32-1, 29 KOs) retained his title and knocked down former world champion Sergio “The Latin Snake” Mora (28-5-2, 9 KOs) five times on his way to a seventh-round TKO in the main event of Liga de Campeones de Boxeo en Espiga Viernes night from Santander Arena in Reading, Papá.
The bout was a rematch of their championship fight last August that saw Jacobs win by TKO despite being dropped in the first round. Mora suffered an ankle injury on the punch that ended the last fight but he was not able to capitalize on his second chance.
Jacobs was in control early and often, attacking the body of Mora and switching between orthodox and southpaw styles to stay in control throughout. Mora was evasive and used good head movement to frustrate Jacobs early but could never get his own offense going.
The champion from Brooklyn stayed the course and in round four he broke through with a left hook to the head that sent Mora crumpling to the mat. Mora recovered but again had a knockdown scored against him in round five.
Sensing his moment, Jacobs came out aggressive in the seventh round as he clearly sought an end to the fight. A left right combo dropped Mora in the corner early in the round before he was dropped from a body shot moments after getting back on his feet.
Referee Gary Rosato let the fight continue but Jacobs put a quick end to the night by smothering Mora and dropping him for the fifth and final time, forcing the referee to stop the bout at 2:08 en la ronda.
In front of a raucous and supportive crowd, invicto estrella en ascenso Robert Pascua (18-0, 14 KOs) earned a narrow split-decision victory over previously unbeaten Richard Commey (24-1, 22 KOs) in a thrilling contest that saw both men grab momentum at different points throughout the 12-round bout.
Easter used his jab and length advantage in round one and appeared to have more success throughout the night when he fought from a distance. The fight vacillated between a tactical battle and a toe-to-toe war by the round and even by the minute.
The Ghanaian Commey was aggressive throughout the fight and had success pushing Easter to the ropes and catching him with big right hands. In round eight, Commey scored a knockdown on one of those right hands, as referee Benjy Esteves ruled that Easter’s glove hit the canvas as a result of the punch.
Easter and Commey both came out firing in round nine, engaging in one of the many exchanges that put the lively crowd on its feet. Easter had great success throughout the night with his right uppercut that consistently caught Commey coming in, but never deterred him completely.
Both men reached the 12-round limit for the first time in their careers but it was Easter who took advantage of the final stanza by rocking and wobbling Commey with a big overhand right just seconds into the round.
Commey was able to survive on the ropes and by consistently wrapping up his opponent. Both men were lifted to the air in triumph by their trainers after the final bell rang as the crowd cheered the two combatants. In the end the judges scored the fight 114-113 for Commey and 115-112 y 114-113 for Easter.
DANIEL JACOBS
I have to take my hat off to Sergio Mora. There was a lot of talking before this fight, pero esto es boxeo. I respect any man who gets inside of this ring.
I want to prove to the world that I’m the best middleweight. If GGG gets the victorymañana, Eso es lo que queremos.
I wanted to go in there to hurt him and keep my knockout streak alive. I did what I said I would.
I didn’t expect to knock him down as much, but I did see the fight ending in a knockout. It took a while because he’s so tricky. I wasn’t able to jab the way I wanted to. That’s what happens when you fight guys who have been in the game for a long time.
The support of my city means a lot. There are guys here that I’ve known since kindergarten. People showed me love across the board and it was tremendous. For them to be on this journey with me, it means everything. I’m living my dream.
This one’s for Brooklyn. We have to spread the love around but I’ll be back home in December headlining at Barclays Center.
SERGIO MORA
The guy punches really hard. I was trying to catch him like I did in the first fight but I couldn’t do it today.
We expected him to fight the way he did. He’s big and powerful. I knew I would have to catch him with a few shots and take him into the later rounds. I think I was doing that until my legs couldn’t recover.
I’m not going to take anything away from his victory, but I never recovered from a shot to the back of the head. They counted it as a knockdown so I’ll have to take a look at the video, but it felt like the back of the head.
This guy is a big overwhelming figure. When he got on top of me I could feel his weight. You really need those legs to wake up when you get buzzed.
The fight was close in my heart. Daniel finally gave me credit. I didn’t feel like I got beat up, he just caught me with good shots. I have a lot left in me. I’m going to look at the tape and see where I’m at.
Robert Easter
It’s been a long training camp. We had an amazing training camp. This fight wasn’t easy at all. We knew it wasn’t going to be easy. Richard Commey is a tough, competidor duro. He made me fight each and every round, but we did it.
The game plan was to go out there and box him and use my length and reach. I made a few mistakes esta noche. One of them was not fighting him early enough. It wouldn’t have been close. En la última ronda, when I needed the round, I went out and got it.
I took everything that I had, todos 16 years in the sport, and I used it to go get that belt.
You always have to stay composed as a professional. I wasn’t hurt at all on the knockdown. I know what happened in there. He threw a shorter right hand and I stumbled. I finished the round tough.
Early in the fight I thought I hurt him with a hook and right hand combo. In the last round I caught him right on the chin. That wobbled him. He held on for dear life.
I knew it was going to come down to a split decision. I felt in my heart that I did enough. He missed a lot of shots.
I want more straps. I want belts. This is huge for my city. Significa mucho. It’s bigger than me. I wanted to give them something to believe in.
All this hard work we had to put in for this fight, we had to dig in deep. I did this for my city and Toledo came out for me esta noche.”
RICHARD COMMEY
I feel like I won this fight. I did everything that I could. I landed the more accurate shots. I come from very far and it’s hard to win here versus an American. I deserve a rematch.
I was very devastated when I heard the scores. I knew it was a close fight. He went down and I didn’t.
I want to be a world champion. Even if he doesn’t want to fight me, I want another opportunity. I can fight at the highest level in the world. We worked so hard to get to this stage. I want to stay at this level. I’ll keep improving.

DANIEL JACOBS
It’s an honor to be up here as the main event with these young fighters and future champions. I’m excited to be back in the ring. It’s been too long but I’ve been training hard and I feel great.
I’m going to do what I do best. People talk about my power, but I get my skills from the amateur system and from proving that I have the goods. I have the power in addition to the skill set. I’m planning on proving that Viernes noche.
I’ll be ready every round to give it my best and he better come in ready to fight. I’m excited to be here and display my skills in a new place.
The fans are looking forward to a good fight so I hope Sergio is ready to make this an exciting battle. I’m going to show everybody my full arsenal.
SERGIO MORA
Our last fight was on the way to being a ‘Fight of the Year,’ but I busted my ankle in the second round and I couldn’t continue. I’ve been waiting 13 months for this opportunity and I’m completely ready. This has been a fantastic training camp.
It’s time for business. People don’t know what’s going to happen. He has big power and I have a lot of experience and tricks up my sleeve. The later the fight goes, the better off for me.
I’m ready for any way this fight can go. I’m excited about this fight and the fans should be excited about this fight. We’re proud fighters and I can’t wait to get in there.
Robert Easter
This is a big opportunity and something I’ve wanted for my whole life. Ever since I was nine-years-old. All the hard work I’ve put in since I was a kid, everyone will see. I will put on a great performance
We already were working hard before we knew we had this title shot. Someone has to pay for the work I’ve been putting in for 16 years in this business. El Viernes night it will be another victory and another man down.
RICHARD COMMEY
I’m very happy to be here and I’m thankful for this opportunity. When I first started boxing this is what I hoped for.
This is all that I have had on my mind. This is what has motivated me for many years.
“Tal Como Viernes night I’m going to be ready to fight and I’m going to be a world champion.
