WBO #11 Logan Yoon cherche à défendre la ceinture NABO contre John Renteria du Panama

 

Sur Vendredi, Sept. 28, dans le Hard Rock Event Center au Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino à Hollywood, Fla., organisateur Kris Lawrence et The Heavyweight Factory revenir avec «Rumble at the Rock 2» une autre soirée sensationnelle de boxe professionnelle de classe mondiale. "Rumble at the Rock 2" ne fait pas exception. Dans l'événement principal de 10 manches de la nuit, Honolulu, Logan "The Korican Kid" Yoon, invaincu d'Hawaï (12-0, 10 KOs) défendra son championnat WBO-NABO Youth Junior Welterweight contre l'ancien WBA Fedecentro Super Lightweight, WBA Fedecaribe Welterweight et WBA Fedecentro Welterweight Champion John «El Emperador» Renteria (16-4-1, 12 KOs) du Panama.

 

 

 

Béni avec des réflexes félins, mains rapides et puissance substantielle, le prometteur Yoon, 19 ans, gagne en fans et en réputation avec chaque performance impressionnante. Dans son dernier combat en juillet, il a pris une décision unanime sur le vétéran colombien Luis E. Flores avec des dizaines de 99-91, 97-93 et 97-93. En Mars, Yoon a surmonté la détermination et l'expérience de l'ancien double champion du monde Juan Carlos Salgado, remportant une décision unanime en 10 tours (100-89, 97-92 et 98-91). Yoon est actuellement le prétendant classé n ° 11 à la WBO.

 

 

 

«Je suis ravi et reconnaissant d'avoir l'opportunité de me battre lors de mon premier Main Event professionnel,»Dit Yoon. «Je ne suis pas plus nerveux que d’habitude parce que j’ai déjà combattu chez les amateurs dans des épreuves principales et j’ai l’habitude que tous les yeux soient rivés sur moi. Je sais qu'il a un coup de poing, alors je vais faire attention à ça. Formation va bien. Je m'entraîne deux ou trois fois par jour, six jours par semaine. Le poids est bon. Je me sens bien physiquement et je suis très confiant à l’entrée. »

 

 

 

Renteria, 26 ans, de Panama City, est un professionnel de six ans. Il a remporté le championnat WBA Fedecentro Super Lightweight en mars 2016, avec un TKO 6 sur alors invaincu (16-0) David Lobo Ramrez. Renteria a remporté le titre WBA Fedecaribe Welterweight en avril suivant par décision technique au neuvième round contre Omir Rodriguez. He also grabbed the WBA Fedecentro Welterweight Championship with a TKO 5 over formerly undefeated Lesvy Maure.

 

 

 

“I am happy to be coming to Florida,” said Renteria. “I am representing Panama and I am coming to showcase my talent. My rival Logan Yoon is a very tough upcoming prospect who is very powerful, so I will bring my all.”

 

 

 

The evening’s 10-round co-main event will feature Miami via Ekibastuz, Le «guerrier» moussa du Kazakhstan Tursyngaliyev (7-0, 6 KOs) defending his NABA-USA Featherweight Championship against undefeated Colombian Ruben Cervera (10-0, 9 KOs).

Yoon’s amateur career saw him become a two-time Silver Champion at Ringside World Championships, a two-time Colorado Springs Pikes Peak champion, an Arkansas National Champion, an Adidas National champion, a two-time Silver Junior National Golden Gloves champion, a Junior Olympic bronze medalist and a Silver Youth National Champion.
