Undefeated prospect Еммануел “Renegade” Robles (15-0-1, 5 КОс), fighting out of San Diego, faces Canadian welterweight champion Стеве “The Dragon” Цлаггетт (33-4-1, 16 КОс) in the 10-round main event for the vacant North American Boxing Association (Такође) – United States junior welterweight championship.
The 28-year-old Robles is a former WBC Latino super lightweight champion, as well as a 2008 National PAL gold medalist. The gifted southpaw has reeled-off 11consecutive victories since his 2012 draw with 7-0 Adrian Vargas. NABA No. 1 contender Robles’ signature win to date was last year’s second-round stoppage of Leon Spinks III, grandson of former heavyweight champion and Olympic gold medalist Леон Спинкс, who left the ring on a stretcher. In a rare battle of unbeaten prospects, Roland “Rola” Garza (9-0, 6 КОс) meets popular California junior middleweight Neeco “The Rooster” Macias (12-0, 6 КОс) in the 8-round co-feature.

The always entertaining Macias, 25, who crows like a rooster in the ring before and after fights, had fans on their feet in his last fight, which was a non-stop brawl at the DLVEC with Limberth Ponce this past April, ending in a unanimous 8-round decision for Macias.

After our discussions, it became apparent the fight card could not move forward. Although I’m disappointed with the situation, I appreciate the phone calls and look forward to working with the Nevada Athletic Commission on future boxing events at the DLVEC.”

Torres is a protégé of the late 5-time world championJohnny Tapia. His brother-in-law, Chris Chavez, now trains Torres, who has been sparring with fellow New Mexican and former world junior middleweight champion, Остин Пастрмка, to prepare for the left-handed Judah.

It has also been announced that the “Knockout Night at the D” broadcast team will feature a pair of Hall-of-Fame announcers, color commentator Ел Бернштајн и Jim “ЈР” Ross will handle blow-by-blow responsibilities, as well as former world featherweight championКевин “Flushing Flash” Kelley, who will conduct post fight and celebrity interviews.
The “Knockout Night at the D” серија, created by the D Las Vegas and DLVC, along with Neon Star Media and Roy Englebrecht Promotions, will be held at the DLVEC open air venue located adjacent to the D Las Vegas. Bernstein is arguably the preeminent boxing announcer in the world. У 1980, Bernstein joined ESPN as its boxing analyst. The 1988 Sam Taub Award winner for excellence in boxing broadcasting journalism, Bernstein served as boxing analyst for NBC’s coverage of the 1992 и 1996 Олимпијске игре.
