The full slate of programming is free to SHOWTIME subscribers, and the presentation on CBS is the first Prime Time boxing event on CBS television network in decades.

In an effort to stay active and give his fans an opportunity to see him in live action, Porter will hold an old-fashioned exhibition against 라 나르도 타이너 (30-10-2, 19 KOS 호텔) at his gym – Porter Hy-Performance Center at 7 시이. PT 토요일에. 시합 후, Porter will host a 30-minute Facebook Live video Q&A to interact directly with fans about what’s next for him that will also be on the PBC Facebook page.
Porter was as disappointed as most boxing fans when Thurman was injured in an automobile accident and had to pull out of their highly anticipated welterweight championship showdown. It’s no coincidence that Porter is holding this fight on the same night that he was supposed to battle Thurman.
“When I found out about 행진 12 not happening because of what happened to Keith, I tried to move forward to fight someone else,” 사이드 포터. “But given the level of that fight with Keith, there wasn’t anything for me really. We continued to spar and train. We figured the only way we could keep that focus was to have someone push Shawn for 12 rounds or however long it last.
In addition to Porter’s exhibition, amateur middleweight Brandyn 린치, nephew of legendary comedian Eddie Murphy, will face fellow amateur 조이 Alday 네 라운드 한판 승부.
In his last match Porter scored a 12-round unanimous decision against Adrien Broner in Las Vegas last June. The match against Thurman is one of the most highly anticipated of 2016 and will be rescheduled soon.

The fighters will weigh-in the day before the match, but there will be no involvement from the Nevada State Athletic Commission. “Mock” judges and a professional referee will be used to score the fight and complete the atmosphere of a fight night.

NEW YORK (2월. 24, 2016)—After extensive discussions between DiBella Entertainment, Showtime Networks and Mohegan Sun, the 행진 12 boxing event has been canceled.

 

Following the injury to Keith Thurman and the postponement of the Thurman vs. Porter bout, we evaluated several options for salvaging the card, but various factors, including scheduling and programming issues, prevented the parties involved from doing so.

 

The featherweight bout between fellow three-division world champions Abner Mares and Fernando Montiel will remain paired with the Thurman vs. Porter welterweight world championship event, which is being rescheduled for a later date on CBS. The other bouts on the card will be rescheduled on a date or dates to be announced.

 

“Every effort was made to move forward with the remainder of this excellent card, despite the tight time frame,” 루 디벨 말했다, 디벨 라 엔터테인먼트 회장. “그러나, scheduling conflicts and other factors forced us to make the unfortunate decision to cancel the entire event.
