Kovalev, the Russian Wrecking Ball, 33, has been dominating boxing’s light heavyweight division with his aggressive, fan-friendly style since his breakout performance against then-unbeaten Nathan Cleverly in 2013. His rise to boxing stardom has been meteoric, as he has gone from an unknown fighter from Chelyabinsk, Russia to headlining HBO Pay-Per-View in just four years after signing with his first promoter, Main Events. Out of of Kovalev’s 30 Karieraj venkoj 26 have come by way of knockout. Cetere, he has entered into championship rounds only twice in his professional career. Kovalev has always sought to test himself against the best boxing has to offer; he wants to prove in the ring that he deserves that mantle.

Karo Murat accepts challenge to face Artur Beterbiev IBF light heavyweight title eliminator

MONTREAL (Oktobro 9, 2015) -After the refusal of CubanYuniesky Gonzalez (IBF #11), Armenian light heavyweight Karo Murat (IBF #14, 27-2-1, 17 KOs) jumped at the opportunity to face Montreal adopted son Artur Beterbiev (IBF #2, 9-0, 9 KOs) for an IBF light heavyweight (175 Funtoj) elimination fight.
The promoters of the two fighters have until Oktobro 22 to sign a deal without it going to a purse bid.
The winner of this bout, which could logically take placeNovembro 28 En Kebekia Urbo, will become the mandatory challenger for the IBF light heavyweight world title owned by Russian Sergey Kovalev.
Murat is the reigning IBF International light heavyweight champion. He won his last two fights after fighting hard for 12 rounds with legendary American Bernard Hopkins, Oct. 26, 2013 En Atlantika Urbo, in a losing effort. He also has on his record wins over Gabriel Campillo Kaj Tommy Karpency.

MONTRÉAL (Septembro 24, 2015) – Monda Boksa Konsilio (WBC) Ne, 2 rated contender Eleider Alvarez (18-0, 10 KOs), a former Colombian Olympian who now lives in Montreal, and WBC No. 1 Konkuranto Isaak Marko (24-2-2, 10 KOs), of Malawi, will face each other this November in a WBC light heavyweight final eliminator bout to be staged in Quebec.
Yvon Michel Kaj Kathy Duva, Respektive, promoters of Alvarez and Chilemba, yesterday finalized a deal to secure this much anticipated fight, in which the winner will become mandatory challenger for WBC World light heavyweight champion Adonis “Superman” Stevenson, the Haitian native who also lives in Montreal.
“Alvarez and Chilemba are both at the elite level of the light heavyweight division,” said Michel, Prezidanto de GIMNASTIKEJO, “insuring a spectacularly intense fight that will determine the rest of their respective careers.”
