M-1 Challenge “regular” flyweight championAlexander Doskalchuk was supposed to defend his title atאתגר M-1 103 against Kelades, עם זאת, the champ suffered an injury that forced Doskalchuk to withdraw.

לוס אנג'לס — Bellator is proud to announce that Russian MMA great פדור Emelianenko (38-6, 1 NC) has signed an exclusive multi-fight contract extension to finish his career inside the Bellator cage.



Emelianenko’s farewell tour continues in Bellator’s stacked heavyweight division on the heels of a finals run during the promotion’s eight-man Heavyweight World Grand Prix.Fighting out of Stary Oskol, Belgorod Oblast, רוסיה, “The Last Emperor” recently earned first-round knockouts over Chael Sonnen ו פרנק מיר in the tourney’s semifinals and opening round, בהתאמה.

Salamov Defends Championships with Unanimous Decision over Ghana’s Anim in Sochi, רוסיה

After Homecoming win, Heavyweight Contender Andrey Fedosov eyeing big fights

פילדלפיה, PENN / CHICAGO, ILL. (אוקטובר 17, 2018)-After a 10-round unanimous decision over tough Joey Dawejko this past Saturday in Ekaterinburg, רוסיה, 2015 Boxcino Heavyweight champion Andrey Fedosov is back on track in his effort to fight for the heavyweight championship of the world.

 

 

 

Fedosov, who made his first start in his home country in over 10 שנים, defeated the former world amateur champion by shutout scores of 100-90 on two scorecards, ו 98-92 on a the third card.

 

 

 

Fedosov registered his 2nd win in less than four months.

Ortmann, a Muay Thai specialist, recently stepped into The Rage to discuss his ascending mixed-martial-arts career, including his fight versus Romanov:

 

Urs Pablo, you’ve got a double name, how do your friends call you?

 

 

 

UPO: “My friends call me just Urs and Pablo is my fight name. Earlier there was a difference between the real me and my fighting alter ego; stepping into the cage I used to go wild. Today it’s different, now I do my best to stay calm when I fight. My goal now is to stay effective and demonstrate techniques in the clearest way possible.”

 

How did you start your MMA career and what do you like the most about fighting?

 

 

 

UPO: “למעשה, I started my martial arts career only when I turned 21. I have a great experience with Russian fans, who are very respectful. After my fights I’ve seen that they understand this sport really well, so I love fighting in Russia.”

 

Who would you like to fight the most in M-1 Global?

 

 

 

UPO: “I would love to fight אלכסיי Kunchenko. I’ve seen many fights of his and it would be a tough challenge for me. I’m happy that he signed with the UFC and I hope one day I can follow him.”

 

What do you think about your upcoming fight against Sergey Kunchenko?

 

 

 

UPO: “Sergey Romanov is one of the most dangerous welterweights on the M-1 Global roster. In his last fight he made some mistakes and I would say just defeated himself. M-1 Global fans will love our fight and I’m sure that the winner should become the next title contender. I suppose the winner will face מקסים Grabovich in the fight for the vacant title.

The 32 year-old Fedosov will return to his home country of Russia for the 1st time in 10 years when he steps into the ring at the Ekaterinburg Expo.

 

 

 

“I am very excited to be once-again fighting in Russia. It has been a while. I have a lot of family and friends who will be there and have not seen me fight in person for a long time, so I know that I cannot fail them.”

 

 

 

With a win over the tough Dawejko, who was a former world amateur champion himself, Fedosov will once-again establish himself as one of the top heavyweights in the world, and will look for the biggest names in the division.

Deerfield Beach, FL (אוקטובר 4, 2018)—Hall of Fame boxing promoter Don King and heavyweight contender Bermane Stiverne hoped to settle things in the ring in Yekaterinburg, Russia with former Olympic gold medalist Alexander Povetkin on Dec. 17, 2016.

 

 

 

Stiverne never got the opportunity in the WBC heavyweight eliminator that morning, when WBC officials announced Povetkin had tested positive for the illegal substance ostarine and the WBC pulled the sanctioning and the fight was cancelled.

 

 

 

King and Don King Productions and Stiverne will now settle things in court as they have filed suit for $2 million in the Court of Arbitration for Sport against Alexander Povetkin and the World of Boxing.

 

 

 

Don King Productions and the World of Boxing came to an agreement on Nov. 6, 2016 for the WBC sanctioned fight between Stiverne and Povetkin scheduled for Dec. 17, 2016 with the winner facing Deontay Wilder.

 

 

 

Both fighters were to receive purses of $1,424,250 and the winner of the fight would have earned an additional $316,500. It was the second failed drug test by Povetkin in a seven-month period.

 

 

 

Stiverne hopes to return to the ring to fight for the world title again.

 

 

 

“Povetkin and Ryabinsky can’t play by the rules of the WBC and VADA,” said King, “and they denied Bermane the opportunity of a lifetime to become heavyweight champion. All the hard work leading up to the fight and then waking up the morning of the fight in Russia and being told that there wouldn’t be a fight is devastating.”
