Petersburg, Rosia (Aprily 10, 2016) – M-1 Challenge middleweight tompon-daka Ramadany Emeev won last night at M-1 Challenge 65 to advance to the M-1 Global Grand Prix Middleweight Championship, while undefeated challenger Alexey Kunchenkodefeated defending champion Murad “Hunter” Abdulaev to become the new M-1 Challenge welterweight titlist, at CSC Sibur Arena in St. Petersburg, Rosia.
Ramazan (14-3-0, M-1: 810), ny 2015 M-1 Global Fighter of the Year, used a choke hold on his Brazilian opponent, Maiquel “Big Rig” Facao (35-9-0, M-1: 0-1-0), in their M-1 Grand Prix middleweight semifinals match. The main event ended at the 2:50 mark of the opening round as Ramazan advances to face three-time Bellator champion Alexander “Storm” Shlemenko (51-9-0, M-1: 2-0-0) in the upcoming M-1 Grand Prix Middleweight Championship showdown.

ST. Petersburg, Rosia (Martsa 16, 2016) – M-1 Challenge welterweight champion Murad “Hunter” Abdulaev will make his first title defense, Aprily 8 amin'ny M-1 Challenge 65,against undefeated challenger Alexey Kunchenko at Ice Palace Sports Center in St. Petersburg, Rosia.
Abdulaev vs. Kunchenko replaces the rescheduled M-1 Challenge lightweight championship bout between defending champion Mansour “Tarzan” Barnaoui sy ny Challenger Artem Damkovsky due to injuries suffered by both fighters during training camp.
M-1 Global has also announced an M-1 Challenge 65 match between former M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Maxim Divinich and M-1 Global debuting Robert Turnquest.

Salita Promotions Signs Russian Super Bantamweight Vladimir Tikhonov

Promoter Dmitriy Salita of Salita Promotions proudly announces the signing of undefeated super bantamweight prospect Vladimir Tikhonov to a promotional contract.
A mpanohana satria 2008, the 25-year-old southpaw, from Saint Petersburg, Rosia, sports an undefeated record of 13-0, 7 Kos. As an amateur boxer who finished with a record of 85-15, Tikhonov was a gold medallist at the 2008 All-Russia Class A Tournament 2008 in Togliatti and a silver medallist in 2007 and was recognized as the best boxer of the tournament. He has also been given the designation as a Sport Master of Russia.
Tikhonov has had only 13 ady in eight years and ventured out of his native country only once as a professional. Promoter Salita says that’s about to change.
Vladimir is an extremely talented fighter with excellent potential to become a world champion,” Hoy Teny. “We are going to get him active and bring him to the United States where he can become known as a top contender in his division. I am very happy to have formed this agreement with one of Russia’s best up-and-coming fighters.
I am excited to sign with Salita Promotions and look forward to fighting the best fighters in my division,” said Vladimir Tikhonov. “I have been boxing my whole life. My amateur and pro experience will be important in fights against top competition. I am very hungry to show that I am the best Super Bantamweight in the world.

Salita says Tikhonov’s first fight under his promotional banner will be announced shortly, but the focus will be on securing him a shot against one of the division’s best including WBA Champions Guillermo Rigondeaux and Scott Quigg, as well as IBF Champion Carl Frampton and WBO boss Nonito Donaire.

M-1 Global extends contracts with Ivan Buchinger, Stephan Puetz & Lee Morrison

ST. Petersburg, Rosia (Janoary 27, 2016) – M-1 Global filoha Vadim Finklechtein has announced contract extensions for M-1 featherweight championJohn “Izany no” Buchinger, former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight titlist Stephan “T-800” Puetz and top American featherweight contender Lee “American Bulldog” Morrison.
We’ve prolonged the contract with M-1 Global veteran fighters Buchinger, Puetz and Morrison,” Finkelchtein said. “We constantly work on our roster to have the best possible fighters.
Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), the 29-year-old from Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title in 2014, via a fourth-round knockout of Tural Raginov amin'ny M-1 Challenge 52. In his last fight this past October, Buchinger successfully defended his title with a unanimous decision over current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Mansour “Tarzan” Barnaoui amin'ny M-1 Challenge 62.
Puetz (13-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0), fighting out of Germany, is an electrifying fighter who won the M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion in 2014, maka ny fanapahan-kevitra avyViktor Nemkov amin'ny M-1 Challenge 46.
