Morrison (15-7-0, М-1: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, М-1: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.
Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, М-1: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 килограмм) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Павел Vitruk by decision at М-1 Challenge 58.
Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at М-1 Challenge 66 (төменде суретте көрсетілген).

Buchinger (31-4-0, М-1: 6-0-0), Словакия жүзеге күрес, is riding a 10-fight win streak into М-1 Challenge 73 since he lost to Conor McGregor жылы 2012. Kunchenko (14-0-0, М-1: 6-0-0), fighting out of Tyumen, Ресей, will be making his first title defense. He defeated defending champion Abdulaev, who was unable to continue in round four of their fight this past April at М-1 Challenge 65.
Abdulaev (15-4-0, М-1: 3-2-0), fighting out of Anapa, Ресей, originally captured the M-1 Challenge welterweight title at М-1 Challenge 58, бастап шешім қабылдау Marcello Britoмаусымда 6, 2015 for the vacant title.

A native of Kazakhstan fighting out of famed Stary Oskol, Ресей, Nevkov (23-6-0, М-1: 16-5-0) is a former two-time M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion.
