The previously announced main event is a super showdown between M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramadan Emeev (14-3-0, M-1: 8-1-0) and knockout specialist Anatoly Tokov (24-2-0, M-1: 9-1-0).

Buchinger (31-4-0, M-1: 6-0-0), yaki daga Slovakia, is riding a 10-fight win streak into M-1 Watna 73 since he lost to Conor McGregor a 2012. He captured the vacant M-1 Challenge title October 17, 2014 a M-1 Watna 52, tsayawa Tural Nizamiy (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches in their Fight of the Night. Buchinger made a successful title defense 13 months ago at M-1 Watna 62, taking a 5-round unanimous decision over Mansour Korobkov. Russia is producing lots of top notch fighters, contenders and world champions. I feel that Vladimir has the skills and experience to be the new face in the super bantamweight division!”

A 26 year-old Tikhonov got it done in his last outing against 40-4 Mikhail Krivolapov. INGUSHETIA, Rasha (Oktoba 22, 2016) – Former two-time M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion Viktor Nemkov put himself in position for another title shot and Pavel Vitruk became the first M-1 Challenge Bantamweight Champion at last night’s entertaining M-1 Watna 71 a Ingushetia, Rasha.
Kazakhstan-'yan qasar Nemkov (24-6-0, M-1: 17-5-0), fighting out of Stary Oskol, Rasha, won a three-round unanimous decision from former Bellator champion Attila “Pumukli” Vegh(29-8-2, M-1: 0-2-0), of Slovakia, a babban taron.

Also announced was a lightweight battle between former champion Artiom Damkovsky da kuma Alexey “Aiki” Makhno.
Kunchenko (14-0-0, M-1: 6-0-0), fighting out of Tyumen, Rasha, will be making his first title defense. He defeated defending champion Abdulaev, who was unable to continue in round four of their fight this past April at M-1 Watna 65.
Abdulaev (15-4-0, M-1: 3-2-0), fighting out of Anapa, Rasha, originally captured the M-1 Challenge welterweight title at M-1 Watna 58, shan a yanke shawara daga Marcello Britoa kan Yuni 6, 2015 for the vacant title.

Damkovsky (21-10-0, M-1: 11-7-0), fighting out of Minsk, Belarus, has a crowd pleasing style. His last fight resulted in a kick-knockout victory (see picture below) na Maxim Divnich this past September at M-1 Watna 70.

A native of Kazakhstan fighting out of famed Stary Oskol, Rasha, Nevkov (23-6-0, M-1: 16-5-0) is a former two-time M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion. He first captured the coveted belt nearly three years ago, when he defeated Vasily Babich by hanyar na biyu-zagaye biyayya (hannu-kulle) for the vacant title.
