Undefeated Russian middleweight Artem Frolov (7-0-0, M-1: 4-0-0), a strong striker and Combat Sambo master, faces American opponent Luigi “Ang Italyanong Tank” Fiorvanti (26-14-0, M-1: 4-3-0) battle with future title fight implications on the line for the winner.

Frolov is coming off a three-round unanimous decision over Rafael Xavier sa M-1 Challenge 70, while Fiorvanti is considered a good all-around fighter who is a former M-1 Challenge middleweight title challenger.

In a featherweight bout, fully recovered Kurbaneli Abdusalamor (6-2-0, M-1: 4-0-0) faces fellow Russian East Nagibin (7-2-0, M-1: 3-1-0). Abdusalamov has won four fights in a row, including his last 13 months ago against American Lee Morrison, which ended in a 3-round majority decision for the Russian fighter before he was sidelined with injuries.

Lightweight Damir Ismagulov (8-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0), a native of Kazakhstan fighting out of Russia, meets Brazilian Rubenilton “Rubinho” Pear (16-3-0, M-1: 0-1-0). Buchinger (31-4-0, M-1: 6-0-0), away gikan sa Slovakia, is riding a 10-fight win streak into M-1 Challenge 73 since he lost to Conor McGregor sa 2012. INGUSHETIA, Russia (Oktubre 22, 2016) – Former two-time M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion Viktor Nemkov put himself in position for another title shot and Pavel Vitruk became the first M-1 Challenge Bantamweight Champion at last night’s entertaining M-1 Challenge 71 sa Ingushetia, Russia.

Kazakhstan-lumad Nemkov (24-6-0, M-1: 17-5-0), fighting out of Stary Oskol, Russia, won a three-round unanimous decision from former Bellator champion Attila “Pumukli” Vegh(29-8-2, M-1: 0-2-0), of Slovakia, sa main event.

ST. Petersburg, Russia (Oktubre 19, 2016) – M-1 Global has announced a rematch between M-1 Challenge welterweight champion Alexey Kunchenko ug kanhi champion Murad “Hunter” Abduleav will headline the November 18th M-1 Challenge 72 sa Moscow, Russia.

Also announced was a lightweight battle between former champion Artiom Damkovsky ug Alexey “Buluhaton” Makhno.

Kunchenko (14-0-0, M-1: 6-0-0), fighting out of Tyumen, Russia, will be making his first title defense. He defeated defending champion Abdulaev, who was unable to continue in round four of their fight this past April at M-1 Challenge 65.

Abdulaev (15-4-0, M-1: 3-2-0), fighting out of Anapa, Russia, originally captured the M-1 Challenge welterweight title at M-1 Challenge 58, pagkuha sa usa ka desisyon nga gikan sa Marcello Britosa Hunyo 6, 2015 for the vacant title.

The 29-year-old Emeev, fighting out of Makhachkala, Russia, first captured the vacant M-1 Challenge middleweight title in 2012, taking a 5-round unanimous decision from Mario Miranda sa M-1 Challenge 35, and he successfully won the rematch five months later saM-1 Challenge 38, stopping Miranda via strikes in the third round.

Sa 2014, Emeev lost his title belt to Vyacheslav Vasilevsky by way of a fourth-round knockout (kinumo) sa M-1 Challenge 51 sa 2014. The resilient Emeev, Apan, bounced back to regain his throne as M-1 Challenge middleweight champion, using a choke hold to submit Vasilevsky in the opening round at

M-1 Challenge 56.

Emeev has successfully defended his title against Luigi Fioravanti, who was unable to continue after four rounds at M-1 Challenge 63, and this past April Emeev defeated Brazilian Maiquel Falcao (see picture above) sa M-1 Challenge 65 in the first round by submission (choke).

Tokov (24-2-0, M-1: 9-1-0), 26, is a former ABC champion who fights out of Stary Oskol, Russia. He is riding a 17-fight win streak, including knockouts of Enoc Mosulbad sa Torres saM-1 Challenge 54 ug Albert Duraev sa M-1 Challenge 46.
