Evloev improved his professional MMA record to 7-0-0, all in M-1 Challenge events, by knocking out Russian أليكسي Nevzorov (12-3-0, M-1: 6-2-0) في الجولة الثانية.

إفلوي, who was coming off an impressive three-round decision over American لي موريسون, took advantage of his opportunity to fight for the interim title, due to a long-term injury to reigning M-1 Challenge bantamweight champion بافل Vitruk.

The judges were busy as seven of the other nine fights on the M-1 Challenge 76 card went the full distance. Fighters represented six different countries on this highly-competitive card.

Below is a Q & A with the veteran MMA promoter:

Can you tell us about plans for upcoming M-1 Global events?

VF: “In the next 2-3 months we will promote an extremely full schedule of events. Through the middle of يونيوه, we will promote five – I’m not afraid to use these words – grandiose tournaments. 22 أبريل there’s an event being held in Nazran, which was arranged with the support of the local government, and dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Ingushetia. في مايو 19عشر, in collaboration with Rostec and Rosoboronexport corporations, we will hold a truly spectacular event in Sochi. Our traditional tournament in Orenburg is set for 26 مايو, which regularly takes place at the highest level with a crowded venue. في يونيوe 1st, we will hold another event in St. Petersburg as part of the International وconomic Forum program. And already on يونيوه 15 – A major tournament will be held June 15^عشر in Harbin, الصين, during the program of the Russian-Chinese وxpo. Fans are interested in fighters whose performances will decorate these tournaments. Can you reveal some of the competing fighters?

VF: “We will really surprise the audience at these events. A lot of negotiations are ongoing, including those with fighters who are the TopP-20 ranked fighters in the world. There will also be fights involving new fighters. بالطبع, we intend to make fights that fans have been waiting for a long time. A strong Ukrainian with superior wrestling skills, Butenko (42-11-2, M-1: 9-1-0) is an eight-year MMA veteran who has found a welcomed home in M-1 Challenge competition and he has taken advantage of the opportunity. Riding a six-fight win streak, the 29-year-old Butenko captured the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title belt last June at M-1 Challenge 67, when he took a five-round unanimous decision over Artiom Damkovsky.
