Upland, Kalifornien (Juni 3, 2015) – Topp US. tjockt utsikter Dominic “Problem” Breazeale (14-0, 13 KO: s) makes his return to the ring denna lördag eftermiddag, June 6th at the StubHub Center in Carson, Kalifornien. Breazeale, takes another step up in competition and faces Cuban heavyweight Yasmany Consuegra (17-0, 14 KO: s) in a battle of undefeated heavyweights. The televised bout will support the Robert Guerrero-Arron Martinez main-event and will open up the Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) live telecast on NBC.

Den 2012 US. Olympian is coming off of a solid win against heavyweight veteran Victor Bisbal this past March during the inaugural PBC on NBC series. Breazeale showed true heart and resilience after experiencing the first knockdown of his career early in the first round of the bout. Breazeale recovered quickly and dominated Bisbal until the bout was stopped in the fourth round, resulting in Breazeale’s 14th win and 13th by knockout.

Immediately following the bout with Bisbal, Breazeale asked his advisor Al Haymon for another tough-quality opponent and Breazeale was granted his request.

“My last bout with Bisbal was by far the toughest opponent I have ever shared the ring with. He caught me with a good shot and I recovered quickly. I shook it off and ended up stopping him a couple of rounds later. Efter matchen, I wasn’t happy that I was knocked down although many people told me that I showed resilience and that is what champions are made of. Fortfarande, I wanted another tough opponent and Al Haymon gave me the opportunity,” said Breazeale.

In addition to the quality opponent, Breazeale now has the chance to make an impression on many avid and casual boxing fans who will be watching the bout live on NBC Lördag eftermiddag, an opportunity Breazeale welcomes and is thankful for.

In just 14 professional bouts so far, I feel that I have fought tougher opposition at this particular point of my career than the current American world heavyweight champion did in his first fourteen bouts. DOFTER, SÅSOM(Maj 28, 2015)- Four-Division world champion, “Robert “The Ghost” Warrior (32-3-1, 18 Kos) hosted a media workout yesterday at the CrossFit Ranch to shed light on his upcoming fight with Aron Martinez. The 10-round main-event bout will take place at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif., Juni 6, 2015 and will air live on NBC starting at 3:00 p.m. OCH/12:00 p.m. PT.

 

Warrior, who won the hearts of America with his gut wrenching performance against Keith Thurman in his last fight, is looking forward to another main-event attraction where he can showcase his entertaining fighting style to the fans.

 

“All the hard training is done and now it’s time to zone in,” sade Robert Guerrero. “Everyone should be watching the PBC on NBC June 6thbecause I believe this is going to be a crowd-pleasing fight. Aron Martinez is not coming to lay down. He’s had plenty of time to prepare for this fight and I’m expecting him to come out guns blazing. “When a fighter is constantly staying busy, it makes a world of difference. My timing is down, my body is used to the rigorous training. When I’m on the grind, I perform at a much higher level. This will be the first time I’ve had back to back fights in a very long time. Everyone watching this fight will see the difference in my fighting style.

“The StubHub Center is probably my favorite venue to fight in. The fans are incredible. Everyone has a great seat and you can feel the energy from the crowd while you’re fighting. Arkansas Tech's Be The Match benmärgsregisterhändelse börjar kl 9 p.m. på Tisdag, April 14, och fortsätt igenom 9 p.m. på Onsdag, April 15, på universitetets campus.

 

Sammanfogning “The Ghost” blir hans fru, Casey guerrero, som är en canceröverlevande och mottagare av en benmärgstransplantation från BeTheMatch.org-registret (National Marrow Donor Program® (NMDP). Tillsammans kommer de att inspirera alla på campus och hjälpa studenter att registrera sig samtidigt som de förmedlar det viktiga budskapet att vara givare.

 

“Vilken ära att bli inbjuden till det här stora evenemanget av Arkansas Tech University och BeTheMatch.org,” sade Robert Guerrero. “Casey och jag ska göra vår del för att registrera så många som möjligt. Jag tror verkligen att vi kommer att slå rekord. Många liv kommer att räddas och det gläder mig mycket. Jag är supermotiverad och kan inte vänta med att komma på campus och gå till jobbet.”

 

Dr. Jason Warnick, docent i psykologi, och Dr. Julie Mikles-Schluterman, docent i sociologi, står i spetsen för enheten på Arkansas Tech.

 

“Att registrera sig hos Be The Match är en snabb och smärtfri upplevelse,” sa Dr. Jason Warnick. “Det finns en liten mängd pappersarbete att slutföra, en kindpinne och sedan är du klar. I alla, processen tar ungefär 10 minuter. Det är fantastiskt att tänka att en så liten investering av tid och ansträngning från vår sida kan leda till att rädda en annan människas liv.”

 

Den första 3,000 individer som registrerar sig hos Be The Match under 24-timmarsresan på Arkansas Tech får en gratis T-shirt med tillstånd av Arkansas Tech Student Government Association.

 

Be The Match-registerdriven fokuserar på individs ålder 18-44 på grund av medicinsk forskning som tyder på att åldersgruppen mest sannolikt kommer att ge en framgångsrik benmärgstransplantation. Bli The Match-registrering är gratis för enskilda åldrar 18-44.

 

Individer ålder 45-60 kan registrera sig hos Be The Match på www.bethematch.org med en donation av $100.

LAS VEGAS, NV (Mars 11, 2015) – Några dagar efter hans inspirerande insats mot WBA weltervikt mästare, Keith Thurman (25-0, 21 Kos), Robert “The Ghost” Warrior redan ser fram emot hans nästa kamp. Guerrero is today’s version of a modern day gladiator who leaves everything in the ring. His never die fighting style is what fans of all ages are thriving to see. Sports fans around the world witnessed a “Fight of the Year” candidate when Guerrero and Thurman left everything in the ring. Guerrero speaks on his future.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Hav. 9, 2015 – Lördag natts debut av Premier Boxning Champions (PBC) på NBC var den mest sedda proffsboxning sändning sedan 1998, enligt Snabb Nationell Data från The Nielsen Company.

 

Den PBC på NBC telecast medelvärdes 3.4 miljon tittare, ranking som den mest sedda proffsboxning sändning i 17 år (“Oscar De La Hoya s Fight Night” på FOX, 5.9 milj, Mon., Mars 23, 1998).

 

Tittandet ökat varje halvtimme genom telecast och nådde en topp på 4.2 miljoner from10:30-11 p.m. ET under spännande rundor 7-12 av Keith Thurman'S enhälliga beslut över Robert Guerrero, vilken Associated Press kallas “den typ av kamp som hade publiken på fötter och gav en välbehövlig skjuts åt boxning.” Med segern på NBC: s första stora primetime boxning sänds i 30 år (Larry Holmes vs. Carl “Sanningen” Williams, maj 20, 1985), Thurman förbättrades till en perfekt 25-0 (21 knockouts).
