Philadelphia (Maggio 27,2015)—Questo Venerdì notte alla Stadium Holiday

Inn in Philadelphia, King’s Promotions presents a great night of championship boxing that will headlined by 10-round UBF Lightweight championship bout between Frankie De Alba (15-1-2, 5 KO) e Bernardo Gomez Uribe (14-3, 10 KO).

In one of the 8-round co-features, Steve Upsher Chambers (24-4-1, 6 KO) returns to the city where he cut his teeth as a professional to take on Alejandro Rodriguez (24-16-1, 14 KO) in un Jr. Welter.

Chambers, who came originally to Philadelphia with former Heavyweight title challenger, “Veloce” Eddie Chambers, combattuta 23 times and the famed Blue Horizon in Philadelphia and will be making his first start in the City of Brotherly Love in almost 6 anni.

“I have been training hard and working on opening my new gym with (leggero contendente) Rod Salka,” said Upsher.

“I am on weight already and I feel good. We will be fighting at 142 libbre.”

Upsher is ready to show the fans how far his abilities have grown since he turned pro in Philadelphia in 2003 quando aveva solo 18 anni.

Chambers went back to his native Pittsburgh to train in neighboring city Coal Center, PA.

On the veteran opponent, Rodriguez, Upsher said, “I know he is tough and from Mexico. I will look at a little film before the fight and go from there. I really don’t worry about what he will do. He should worry about me. This fight is redemption for me. It’s a start and then I would like to right all of the losses. But first I am looking for a dominant performance il Venerdì then I want to end all doubts.”

Davis di Wilmington, Delaware will be making his second start of 2015 as he is coming off six-round unanimous decision over Jonathan Garcia on Gennaio 31 in Philadelphia.

“Training has gone real well. I have been doing a lot of roadwork and I feel good,” said the 20-year old Davis.

In Garcia, he is facing a tested fighter who has been in the ring with eleven undefeated fighters including Michael Anderson. Jermell Charlo, Charles Hatley, Lanard Lane, Jonel Tapia, yordenis ugás, Glen Tapia, Daniel Rosario and in his last bout when he was stopped in five rounds

“I don’t know too much about him other than he has about 20 fights and he is six-feet tall.”

“I like that everyone can come see me fight. Other than that I just go about my business and prepare like any other fight.”

Davis believes that he will be ready for bigger stages in the next year.

“We are progressing. We are hoping for a television spot later in the year. I just want everyone to come out and support us il Sabato. I will shut it down like I always do and put on a great show.”

Said Davis’ adviser Stephen Edwards, “Kyrone is progressing great. He has has 20 round of professional experience and he has not lost any of them, He is right on schedule and is getting used to the professional ranks.”

Nel main event, imbattuto peso leggero Omar Douglas will see action in an six-round bout when he takes on 70-fight veteran Jose Angel Beranza (36-32-2, 28 KO) of Tepito, Messico.

Douglas Wilmington, Delaware ha un record di 13-0 con dieci ko. He turned pro on May 27, 2011 con un 3 ° vittoria di squalifica rotonda su Eric Sala.

“I have been very responsible with my defense. I always knew I had a pro style. It was my late trainer Lewis Lum who told me I was better suited to become a professional world champion than an Olympic gold medal winner.”

Douglas sees himself continuing to grow and fighting on more high profile platforms as the year progresses.

“I see myself on bigger cards. I am with Al Haymon so to fight on a PBC card is a goal for the year. By the end of the year, I should be considered a hot prospect and I should get in three or four more fights that should put my name out more.”

Douglas finished by saying, “Su Aprile 25, expect a show. I will be smart and put everything together. I train for every opponent like they are the best. Once it all comes together it will be lights out!!”

Philadelphia, PA (Gennaio 27 2015)–Questo Sabato notte al 2300 Arena, imbattuto medi Kyrone Davis assumerà veterano Jonathan Garcia in un periodo di 6-rotonda su uno spettacolo promosso da Re Promozioni.

L'evento principale sarà vedere imbattuto Prichard Colon (12-0, 10 KO) di Orocovis, Puerto Rico assumendo Hector Munoz (23-13-1, 15 KO) di Albuquerque, New Mexico nel turno 8 Jr. Medi lotta.

Davis di Wilmington, Delaware ha un record di 5-0 con tre fori e l'ex dilettante standout è entusiasta della sua lotta questo Sabato.

“Training è andato bene. So che Garcia è un ragazzo durevole che ha combattuto una buona concorrenza. Il mio obiettivo il Sabato è quello di mettere su una buona, prestazioni pulite. “Anche so Sono nato nel New Jersey e vivo in Delaware, Mi alleno a Philadelphia. Non ho combattuto qui professionalmente e tornerò per mostrare a tutti quello che sto facendo. Combatterò in modo intelligente e spingerò per il knockout. Voglio solo essere un grande professionista.”

“Sono di buon umore e hanno messo in un sacco di lavoro di strada. Ho una grande squadra con il mio allenatore Stephen Edwards. Stephen “Scooter” Fulton ad assumere Eric Gotaythis Sabato al 2300 Arena di Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA (Gennaio 26, 2015)–Questo Sabato notte al 2300 Arena, imbattuto Super Bantamweight Stephen “Scooter” Fulton cercherà di rimanere perfetto quando assume Eric Gotay in un periodo di 4-rotonda su uno spettacolo promosso da Re Promozioni.

L'evento principale sarà vedere imbattuto Prichard Colon (12-0, 10 KO) di Orocovis, Puerto Rico assumendo Hector Munoz (23-13-1, 15 KO) di Albuquerque, New Mexico nel turno 8 Jr. Medi lotta.

Fulton di Philadelphia ha un record di 3-0 con 1 knockout e lui ha avuto un buon campo mentre si prepara per la sua seconda apparizione consecutiva città natale.

“Tutto è stato grande. Ho lavorato su una forza e un condizionamento. Sto facendo un ottimo lavoro con gli assorbenti e i miei allenatori mi hanno spinto molto. Stiamo cercando di combattere 6 round ma mi sto preparando per altri,”detto il 20 year-old Fulton.

Fulton ha cercato scoprire Gotay ma ha trovato solo pochissime informazioni sul suo avversario.

“L'unica cosa che davvero so di lui è che ha le braccia lunghe e gli piace jab.”

Fulton, che ha fatto il suo debutto Philadelphia con una decisione unanime a 4 round su Benjamin Burgos Dicembre 5 godere della sua città natale, ma lui preferisce combattere fuori città.

“Mi piace combattere lontano da qui. C'è più pressione nel combattere a casa, ma io sono molto concentrato.”
