"WSOF: Who’s The Toughest?” will include a dedicated recruitment program that will see World Series of Fighting President and six-time world champion Otec Chiefs and his staff visit MMA gyms, beginning with a location in San Diego, Kalif. next month, in order to evaluate the pool of competitors with veteran status.

The first two recruits from the program will square off with each other live on NBCSN at WSOF35, which will take place at a location to be announced, naSobota, November. 12, one day after Veterans Day.

The second meeting between Moraes and Hill comes 17 months after the two superstars went the five-round distance of their championship main event fight at WSOF18 on February 12, 2015, with Moraes successfully defending his coveted title by way of unanimous decision.

The 5-foot-6, 28 year-old Moraes of Howell, N.J. Via Nova Friburgo, Brazil is a former Muay Thai champion and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt whose reign of terror in the 135-pound division has been ongoing since the end of 2011, when he ignited a win streak that has spanned 11 straight fights, počítajúc v to 3 defenses of his World Series of Fighting title.

Alexandre Almeida vs.. Lance Palmer

On December 18, 5-noha-11, 27-year-old Almeida of Manaus, Amazonka, Brazil notched his fifth consecutive win, seizing the World Series of Fighting featherweight title from Palmer of Sacramento, Kalif. via a controversial, unanimous decision after Almeida used his significant height and reach advantage to continuously frustrate the 5-foot-6, 28-year-old Palmer for the duration of their five-round matchup.

The loss snapped a three-fight win streak for Palmer, who captured the featherweight strap when he submitted Rick Glenn with a rear-naked choke in the third round (3:09) of their matchup on December 13, 2014.

Phoenix Jones vs.. Caros Fodor

Over the course of the last five years, Jones and Fodor of Seattle have each, on several occasions, gone on the record expressing their desires to fight one another, despite the fact that they grew up under the same roof and train in the same camp owned by head coach Matt Hume.

LAS VEGAS (Január 21, 2016) -World Series of Fighting (WSOF.com) and Talk2Legends (Talk2Legends.com) today announced an unprecedented partnership that will allow fans to chat live on their iPhone devices with some of their favorite Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) athletes and other celebrity talent, using the latter company’s new mobile app.

The partnership will commence on Saturday, Január. 23 when over two dozen figures from the World Series of Fighting universe will be available for video chat sessions with fans during the WSOF27: Firmino vs. Fodor event that will air live on NBCSN at 10 p.m. A/7 p.m. PT from the FedExForum in Memphis, Tenn.

Available for download in the App Store, the Talk2Legends app also allows fans to share completed chat sessions with friends on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

“The partnership between World Series of Fighting and Talk2Legends will enable a fan experience that is unmatched in sports, for a reasonable cost,” said Talk2Legends CEO Ryan Hermansky.

“On January 23, continued Hernansky, “fans will be able to simultaneously watch WSOF27 and get opinions from legends, such as Bas Rutten a Chael Sonnen, and world champions like David Branch a Marlon Moraes."

The athletes and other celebrity participants have the option of donating revenue they earn in exchange for their participation, to a charity or non-profit foundation of their choice.

LAS VEGAS (December 22, 2015) -World Series of Fighting (WSOF.com) will return to NBC with a special, one-hour program filled with an assortment of the most memorable and impactful moments of 2015 in the decagon cage, v nedeľu, December 27, na 2 p.m. A/11 am P.T.

Co-hosted by Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) icons and World Series of Fighting color commentators Chael Sonnen a Bas Rutten, along with veteran play-by-play man Todd Harris, "WSOF: Greatest Hits 2015” will feature highlights from bouts recognized as candidates for “Fight of the Year,” “Finish of the Year” and “Upset of the Year.”

“This was an incredible year filled with some of the best action we have seen in the cage from our world-class athletes, so we are excited to be able to package the most powerful highlights into a phenomenal hour-long program for a broadcast television audience and deliver it to our fans who have the opportunity, beforehand, to vote for ‘Fight of the Year,’” said World Series of Fighting President Otec Chiefs.

Fans can cast their votes for “Fight of the Year” online at http://2015.wsof.com/. The winning bout will be announced on NBC during the ‘Greatest Hits’ program.

The show will include highlights from World Series of Fighting’s historic, first-ever, one-night tournament that saw eight fighters battle for the number one contender spot in the coveted lightweight (155 libier) divízia.
