ONTARIO, CA. (September 28, 2018) – Premier Boxing Champions action will begin with Prelims live on FS1 and FOX Deportes this Sunday, September 30 as undefeated prospects look to show off their skills in exciting matchups beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT from Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California.

 

 

 

The lineup of fights leading up to the main card, also on FS1 and FOX Deportes, will see Jesse Rodriguez take on Edwin Reyes in an eight-round flyweight showdown while Arnold Alejandro battles Francisco Camacho in a six-round featherweight attraction. Prelims also features Kody Davies squaring-off against Quinton Rankin in eight rounds of light heavyweight action and the pro debut of amateur standout Omar Juarez as he faces Matt Gaver in a four-round super lightweight contest.

 

 

 

Tickets for the event, which is promoted by TGB Promotions and Ringstar Sports, are on sale now and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com.

 

 

 

The event is headlined by unbeaten featherweight contender Brandon Figueroa battling rugged veteran Oscar Escandon plus 2016 Olympic silver medalist Joe Joyce facing Iago Kiladze in a heavyweight attraction. Coverage begins at 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT and includes a trio of rising prospects in separate showdowns as Nigerian Olympian Efe Ajagba steps in for a heavyweight bout, sensational prospect Joey Spencer competes in a super welterweight match and Stephen Fulton looks to remain unbeaten in a featherweight fight.

 

 

 

The 18-year-old Rodriguez (6-0, 4 KOs) turned pro last year with four victories before adding two more triumphs in 2018. The Los Angeles-native will be opposed by the 31-year-old Reyes (8-3-3, 5 KOs) out of Las Vegas Nevada who most recently fought to a draw against once-beaten Jesus Soler in July.

 

 

 

Alejandro (7-0, 6 KOs) enters this fight on a six-fight knockout streak after winning a decision in his pro debut back in 2016. The 22-year-old Dallas-native looks for his third victory of the year when he goes up against 25-year-old Francisco Camacho (7-8-1, 3 KOs) out of Tamaulipas, Mexico.

 

 

 

Representing his native Wales in the United Kingdom, Davies (7-0, 3 KOs) has been busy in 2018, racking up five wins including his first six-round victory. The 24-year-old will make his U.S. debut on Sunday as he faces the 31-year-old Rankin (12-5-2, 9 KOs) who fights out of Charlotte, North Carolina.

 

 

 

After a stellar amateur career, the 19-year-old Juarez will step into the ring for the first time as a pro on September 30. He fights out of the Brownsville-area of Texas and is a motivational speaker for kids in the area while also attending the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley. He will be opposed by the 20-year-old Gaver (0-1) out of Bakersfield, California.

Rosalinda Rodriguez shines in Charlotte, NC

Charlotte, NC (October 24, 2016) -Undefeated bantamweight Rosalinda Rodriguez won the NABF Bantamweight title with an eight-round unanimous decision over Noemi Bosques in a bout that took place last Wednesday night at the Grady Cole Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The bout headlined a card promoted by Hall of Famer, Christy Martin and Pretty Girl Promotions’ Mercedes Vazquez Simmons.
It was an exciting toe-to-toe fight that saw Rodriguez win every round and took home the decision by scores of 80-72 on all cards.
With the win, Rodriguez of Miami, stays perfect at 5-0 and now will receive a top-ten ranking.
The 30 year-old Rodriguez is trained by former world champion Ada Velez.
Also on the outstanding night of boxing, Quinton Rankin (12-3-1, 9 KO’s) of Charlotte stopped Michael Wilmer (5-9-1) in the fifth round of their light heavyweight bout.
Larry Pryor (10-14) scored a mild upset when he took a six-round unanimous decision over Berry Butler (25-14-1) in a light heavyweight bout.  Scores were 58-55 on all cards.
Middleweight prospect Radzhab Buteav (3-0) kept his perfect knockout streak alive as he stopped Johnathan Batista (16-10) at 2:01 of round four of their scheduled six-round bout.
Christian Camacho (5-1, 1 KO), the 24 year-old son of Hall of Famer, the late Hector Camacho, notched his first stoppage victory as he needed just 71 seconds to take out Jovanni Said in a junior lightweight bout.
Cruiserweight Sam Crossed (5-0, 3 KO’s) stopped Michael Tillery at 1:22 of round two of their scheduled four-round rumble.

Britain Hart made a successful pro debut as she stopped Crystal Sutton in the 2nd round of their featherweight bout.

Santario Martin (2-2, 1 KO) stopped Travis Davidson in the 2nd round of their light heavyweight bout.

Ruslan Shamalov made a successful pro debut by needing just a minute to stop big Schyuler Marshall in their heavyweight bout.

Charlotte, NC (August 31, 2016) – Former world champion, Nevada Boxing Hall of Famer, Bare Knuckle and Women’s Boxing Hall of Famer, Christy Martin embarks on a new career as she introduces Pink Promotions along with Pretty Girl Promotions will present a special night of boxing on Wednesday, October 19 at Grady Cole Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

In the main event, light heavyweight Quinton Rankin (11-3-1, 8 KO’s) of Charlotte will compete in an eight-round bout against an opponent to be named.
Rankin, 29 years old is a five year pro is a known commodity in the area as he has fought half of his fights in the greater Charlotte area.
He has been active in 2016 as this will be his fifth fight of the year.  He will be looking to get back in the win column after going eight rounds with prospect Medzhid Bektemirov (16-1) on August 13.
In the co-feature, it will be a battle for the NABF Flyweight title as undefeated Rosalinda Rodriguez (4-0, 1 KO) of Miami, Florida battles Naomi Bosque (10-7-2, 2 KO’s) of St. Petersburg, Florida.

Rodriguez has two wins over undefeated foes which include Federica Bianco and her last bout when she won a four-round unanimous decision over Samantha Salazar on July 16th in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Bosque has wins over Monica Flores (3-0) and Yolaine Lin De Lauf (6-1).

Also scheduled to appear will be super featherweight, Christian Camacho (2-1) of Las Vegas.
Camacho is the son of Hall of Famer Hector “Macho” Camacho.
Taking part in an eight-round bout will be Renan Ruiz (7-2-1, 3 KO’s) of Brooklyn, New York.
Opponents for Rankin, Camacho and Ruiz plus more bouts will be announced shortly.
