RICHARD “EL CASTIGO” MEDINA Signs with Prince Ranch Boxing and TMB & PRB Entertainment

San Antonio, TX (July 32, 2018) – Prince ọsin Boxing ati TMB & PRB Entertainment are happy to announce the signing of amateur standout, Richard “El Castigo” Medina, a 5-Time National Champion from San Antonio, TX. Medina will be making his debut on September 8, 2018 at the Scottish Rite Theater in San Antonio, Texas.

 

 

 

Medina, who will campaign at featherweight (126 lbs.), had a decorated amateur career with an impressive record of (100W-13L). Medina signed a management agreement with Prince Ranch Boxing as well as signed to TMB & PRB Entertainment, who will promote his future fights.

“FERIA de CAMPEONES” SANDOVAL, VAZQUEZ, AND SALAZAR WIN WBC TITLES IN AGUASCALIENTES, MX

AGUASCALIENTES, MX (April 30, 2018) – This past Saturday, Sugar ni igbega presented “FERIA de CAMPEONES”, an eleven bout card from Aguascalientes, Mexico. In the 12-round main event, Super middleweight Bruno Sandoval (20-2-1, 16 KOs), who recently signed with Sugar Promotions, picked up a first round TKO over Devis Caceres (28-9-3, 19 KOs) capturing the WBC Latino Silver Super Middleweight title in the process. The fight was close in the beginning as the two unbeaten fighters showed that neither wanted to taste defeat, but Vasquez began to pull away with his superior boxing skill as he claimed the WBC Youth super flyweight world title. Maryan Salazar (8-2) picked up a unanimous decision over Joselyn Casilla Martinez (4-3-1) to capture the WBC FECOMBOX light flyweight title. Salazar dominated this bout from start to finish to claim the title. Scorecards read 98-92, 98-91, 99-91 all in favor of Salazar.

Cantu, with his aggressive style, took the fight to the inside, making it uncomfortable for Castaneda throughout the whole bout. Although Castaneda had his moments, Cantu was the busier fighter who landed the cleaner shots. Scorecards read 59-54 lemeji, ati 57-56, all in favor of Cantu, who recorded his second fight in four years.
The 4-round co-main event showcased Daniel “Da Beast” Baiz (13-1, 5 KOs) dipo Isai Mireles (8-9, 6 KOs). Baiz dropped Mireles with a left hook to the body in round two, before cruising to a unanimous decision victory. Scorecards read 40-35 across the board for Baiz.
