Bristol, PA (May 13, 2016) – On Saturday night June 4th, a brand new boxing series will be launched as D and D Promotions presents its inaugural “Rumble at the Rink” Boxing series that will take place at The Grundy Arena in Bristol, Pa.
Scheduled to appear in the six-round main event will be super middleweight Derrick Webster.
Glassboro Webster, New Jersey bir rekord var 19-1 ilə 10 knockouts and will be looking to get back in the win column after an eleven-month layoff.
Webster won his first nineteen bouts, which was highlighted by a 22-second knockout over 23-1 Obodai Sai. He is coming off his first professional blemish when he was stopped by undefeated Arif Magomedov on July 17, 2015.
Also scheduled to appear will be super welterweight Elijah Vines (1-0, 1 KO) Philadelphia; super bantamweight Vidal Rivera (3-0, 3 KO-nin) Camden, New Jersey and two-time National Golden Gloves champion Mike Hilton (1-0, 1 KO) Philadelphia.
All four will have their opponents announced shortly plus six High-Level amateur bouts will be part of a special night of boxing.

“This is a great way for boxing fans to get to know the stars of sabah and have these fighters on the same show. There are a lot of great fighters, both professional and amateur in the area, and this will give them a great outlet to get opportunities to showcase their abilities,” said D and D Promotions David Price.

Weimer makes its a perfect 10 with win over Figueroa

York, Penn. (Aprel 22, 2016) – Back on April 9, Steve Weimer came back from a 39-month layoff with a four round unanimous decision over 73-fight veteran, Joseph Figueroa in Springfield, Virginia.

Qalibiyyətlə, Weimer raised his perfect mark to 10-0 and the middleweight prospect from York, Pennsylvania is primed and ready to keep the momentum going.

“I am already back in the gym for June 4th. There are a few guys they are talking to and I am just preparing for whoever takes the fight.”
The fight was also a new beginning for Weimer as it was his first bout under the promotional banner of Jeter Promotions.

King’s Promotions signs former world champion Kermit Cintron

Split-T Management signs world ranked welterweight Ray Robinson

Jeter Promotions signs undefeated Welterweight Steve Weimer

Weimer did not leave the ring because of the usual boxing stereotypes, but he took some time off to get his college degree. Weimer graduated from York College with a degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology.
Weimer, indi 26 years-old had an amateur record of 105-31 was a three-time Pennsylvania Junior Golden Gloves champion and and also won a Pennsylvania open class Golden Gloves title. He holds an amateur win over 140-pound contender Emanuel Taylor and held his own in a fight with future U.S. Olympian Sadam Ali.

Round five had the best two-way action of the first half of the fight with both guys digging deep to gain an advantage. Douglas seemed to get the better of the exchanges as he landed the harder combinations. Douglas began to take over the middle rounds and in round eight, a left hook rocked De Alba and put him in danger for this first time in the fight.
The two fought hard down the stretch and excited the crowd with Douglas winning in the end by majority decision by scores of 97-93, 96-94 və 95-95.

Travis Kauffman honored by Hometown of Reading, PA

Oxu, PA. (Dekabr 21, 2015) – Ağır iddiaçı, Travis “My Time” Kauffman was honored in his hometown of Reading, Pennsylvania by the City Council for his excellent performance on December 12th against Chris Arreola in San Antonio, Texas.
In the proclamation, Kauffman was honored for not only his fight with Arreola, where he battled the former two-time world title challenger to a fight in which most people watching the fight both at ringside and watching on NBC had Kauffman ahead, but also for his activities in the community, which includes feeding the homeless and giving back in many facets in Reading.

“I worked hard for years just to get recognized by the city I love,” Kauffman bildirib. “I made many mistakes in my life, but I turned my life around and have done everything to give back to my community and the people of Reading, Pa. I’m honored today to finally be recognized in my city after all the hard work and the dedication. Thank you to the mayor, the City Council, and the people of Reading, Pa for this award. I’m at a loss for words, but my journey has just begun. I love my city and will rep it until the death of me.”

Kauffman, 30-2 ilə 22 knockouts, is already back in the gym and is looking forward to his next bout which should come in the beginning of 2016.
