This is another great opportunity for me to gain exposure on NBC,” hoy Spence Jr. “A lot of people will be watching because of the Olympics that may not have known my name before. As an Olympian, headlining a major event four years after my Olympic run is exciting. Bundu is an older fighter, but he’s tough and has a lot of experience. He fought well against Keith Thurman. Thurman outboxed him but couldn’t knock him out. I think I can make a big statement in the division if I can stop him, as I did with Chris Algieri.
I am going to use my experience to my advantage on August 21,said Bundu. “When I fought Thurman I ended up being overcautious, but that will not be the case this time. I know it’s now or never for me and I won’t let this chance slip away. Spence will come forward but that will work to my advantage because I love fighting on the inside. I’m going to show Spence a few things that he hasn’t seen before.
The brand new Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk builds on the rich history of the sweet science in the Brooklyn neighborhood. Several heavyweight title fights took place on Coney Island at the turn of the 20th century, including James J. Jeffries’ heavyweight world title knock out of Bob Fitzsimmons in the 11faha- round on June 9, 1899. Jeffries would then defend the title two more times on Coney Island with a points victory over Tom Sharkey and a knockout in the 23RD round against James J. Corbett. Lightweight great Joe Gans and former middleweight champion “Nonpareil” Jack Dempsey also boxed in Coney Island.
It is exciting to have rising star Errol Spence headlining the inaugural boxing event held on Aogositra 21 at the new Ford Amphitheater at the historic Coney Island Boardwalk,” hoy Lou DiBella, Filohan'ny DiBella Entertainment. “Spence is one of the most gifted young fighters in all of boxing and is on track to be a world champion. He will face off against Leonard Bundu, in a final elimination bout, to become the mandatory for the IBF welterweight title, currently held by Kell Brook.
An Olympian who boasted a highly decorated amateur career, the 26-year-old Spence Jr.is coming off a dominating performance in which he stopped former world champion Chris Algieri in the fifth-round in a PBC on NBC main event. Spence Jr. is widely regarded as a future star in the sport and was dominant in his previous NBC appearances when he stopped Phil Lo Greco in the third round in June. His impressive 2015 also included TKO victories over Chris van Heerden, Samuel Vargas and Alejandro Barrera, culminating with him being named ESPN’s Prospect of the Year. Ankehitriny, he looks to secure himself a world title shot.
Originally from Sierra Leone but fighting out of Toscana, Italia, Bundu represented Italy at the 2000 Olympic games where he defeated eventual world champion Daniel Geale. A former European welterweight champion, he owns victories over Frankie Gavin, Lee Purdy and Ismael El Massoudi in addition to going the distance in defeat against Keith Thurman. Bundu comes into this bout with victories over Pablo Munguia and Jussi Koivula in his last two bouts.

Rhodes said, “He held and a lot which made it tough to get in a rhythm.
He was slick,” answered Cherry. “So I held because I didn’t want him to get in those quick shots.
A sloppy round five saw both fighters slip to the canvas, but neither was ruled a knockdown. What became a wrestling match continued rounds six through 10, with clinching and grappling throughout.
Moments before the final bell, Cherry stunned Rhodes, cementing what would become his unanimous victory.
Cherry said, “I thought it was a great fight. I was in a tough fight anio alina and I am glad to come out with the victory.
A discontented Rhodes expressed, “It was a heck of a fight. I wanted to back him up in the later rounds but he was strong. It was an ugly fight, but I believe I won. Tsy manaiky ny fanapahan-kevitra. Nothing more, nothing less.
Cherry concluded, “Training and sparring with Keith (Thurman) was great. He’s so strong and it helped me in this fight. We were both training for big fights at the same time and it helped me increase my strength and pick up this win anio alina, without a doubt.

Na izany aza, Douglas settled in throughout rounds five and six. His jabs to the body proving an effective deterrent to Collado’s aggression and furious pace he displayed in the earlier rounds.
The end came in the seventh round as Douglas landed a left hook to Collado’s head that stumbled Collado, forcing him to take a knee and never get back up.
I noticed that he has his head in the middle and that is unusual for a tall guy,” said Douglas. “So I was focusing on the right hand up the middle. I was able to finish him with a hard right, sisa, right combination.
Collado acknowledged, “He hit me with a good left hook and that broke my nose. I feel it was a close fight though, and I was in the fight up until he got me, but he is a good fighter.
Douglas agreed with Collado’s assessment of the competition adding, “Io no ady mafy, but I had a great camp and that showed anio alina. I think I need one or two more of these kinds of fights and I will be ready for a title shot.
The second televised bout showcased unbeaten prospect Antonio Russell (7-0, 5 Kos) securing a unanimous decision (60-54, 59-55 X 2) victory over Jamaica’sRudolph Hedge (10-4-3, 4 Kos) in a six-round super bantamweight showdown.

Andre Dirrell, Blake Caparello, Anthony Dirrell, Caleb Truax, Jonathan Guzman & Daniel Rosas Media Roundtable Quotes

PBC on Spike Zoma, Aprily 29 amin'ny 9 p.m. SY/PT
From Taj Mahaj Casino & Hotel in Atlantic City
Atlantic City, NJ (Aprily 28, 2016)With just two days until they enter the ring, Premier Boxing Champions on Spike fighters participated in media roundtables Alarobia in Atlantic City and discussed their respective Zoma, Aprily 29showdowns taking place at Taj Mahal Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City.

The card is headlined by the return of the Dirrell brothers as Olympic Bronze medalist Other “Nitsangana tamin'ny maty” Dirrell battles Australia’s Blake Caparello izao tontolo izao sy ny tompon-daka teo aloha Antony “The Dog” Dirrell takes on Minnesota’s Caleb “Golden” Truax. Fahitalavitra mikasika manomboka amin'ny 9 p.m. SY/PT with knockout artist Jonathan Guzman an'i Meksika Daniel Rosas in a 122-pound eliminator.

Tapakila ho an'ny velona hetsika, izay nasandratry ny Mpanjaka Promotions, dia priced amin'ny $100, $75 ary $50, dia hita ao amin'ny Ticketmaster rehetra baovao sy eo amidy izao.

Izao no ny mpiady tsy maintsy hoe Alarobia:

ANDRE DIRRELL

I can tell that Caparello is coming from Australia to prove a point. He’s hungry for a victory and It’s my job to make sure he doesn’t get that. I take this as a championship fight.

The blessing in having a layoff is that my body is in great shape. I feel 25-years-old not 32.

I don’t see myself as the smaller man. I suppose he can take a few shots but I am going to display my skill and show that it will lead to a world championship.

I feel I am at the championship level. I’ll have an eye on the 168-pound title fightsAsabotsy. I’m looking to get that championship as soon as I can. I am ready and I want DeGale. I don’t care if it’s in his hometown, backyard, basement, living room or kitchen. I want to make sure that fight happens.

I worked really hard and I can’t wait to get in the ring amin'ny zoma alina.”

BLAKE CAPARELLO

It’s good to be back in Atlantic City. I took a lot from my fight against Sergey Kovalev. Being in the ring with him taught me a lot about ring composure. This is my Atlantic City redemption.

Dirrell is a very difference fighter. Andre is very quick and slick. I can’t afford to make minor mistakes. I didn’t make the 20-hour flight for a loss. I was small for 175 pounds which made the move to 168 very comfortable.

The plan is to win and fight one of the champions but fighting Andre is a world title for me.

People don’t think that I can punch, but I’m coming to win and put on a show. I’m looking to bring a victory back to Australia.

Antony DIRRELL

It means a lot to share this card with my brother. We share everything. He is my big brother and this is a great moment for both of us.

I will be watching the super middleweight title fights Asabotsy alina, but I am not looking past Caleb Truax.

I know Truax has fought some good competition in Daniel Jacobs and Jermain Taylor. I have my hands full but I prepared to have my hand lifted in Victory.

I think the loss made me a better fighter because I know what it takes to get there. I am just looking for the next shot. When I get it, I’m going to capitalize and not let the title go.

I’m going to stick to my game plan and try to get Truax out of there. Then I can start thinking about Badou Jack. I definitely want a rematch.

CALEB TRUAX

I have to make the most of this opportunity. Izany no ady goavana ho ahy. I can get another shot at a world title with a win.

Dirrell is a good fighter. I’ve seen a lot of his fights and we’ve fought on the same card before. You have to respect that he is a former world champion.

I have to draw from all the experiences I’ve had in my career. I have to use my experience and be on top of my game.

Most of my fights have been around super middleweight. I don’t have to struggle to make weight as much and I couldn’t turn down this opportunity.

JONATANA Guzmán

Rosas is a typical Mexican fighter who will come forward and be in great condition. I’m ready for him and I feel I know him well.

I want a world title and we’re happy that if we get this win we can compete for a belt next time out.

We are excited to put on a great show Zoma alina. I will break him in half.

DANIEL ROSAS

We know our opponent is very good, but we trained 100 percent to get the victory.

We’ve been waiting and putting in the work. Raha tonga ny knockout, it comes.

I know this is an elimination bout. We came to win and we’re prepared for anything that comes. I’m ready to be a world champion.
