CITATIONS FINALES:

KEENAN SMITH:
I’ve been through a lot and it’s been hard, but I’ve been using it as motivation.

I can box and I can punch. I’m not looking to go in and trade with this guy.

I liked going away for camp for the first time. It made me focus and just kept my mind on boxing.

I’m not worried about the hometown advantage.

I’ve been training hard for this fight and demain you’re going to see the best. We are looking to kill the beast. [Baranchyk] comes to fight, he swings a lot of wild punches. I’m a boxer and a puncher, I’m good at making fighters feel uncomfortable. It’s a blessing to be up here, and it’s a blessing to fight on ShoBox and it’s a big opportunity to move up the ladder.

Oy BARANCHYK:
Training camp went great and we did eight weeks. I’m going to be shortening my punches up. I know Keenan is an American-style fighter and will be doing a lot of moving forward.

I love knockouts and haven’t had one in my last three fights. I can’t wait to get another one demain.”

Everything is perfect in Los Angeles for me. The weather and the training are amazing.

Everyone knows I had a great fight with Abel Ramos on ShoBox. It’s a pleasure people think that was the fight of the year, and maybe the best ever on ShoBox, but I’m just focused on the future.

I’m not going to talk much, I’m going to get inside the ring and do all my talking inside the ring.

KENNETH SIMS JR.:
I’ve had some good friends recently who have lost their lives, and it’s been emotional. I haven’t been using my head and I want to get back to boxing.

I love punching to the body. I lot of people think I lack power, and I get hit with a lot of punches. My goal is to be a pure boxer and to keep putting my punches together. .

I feel like I’m an exciting fighter. I’ve been fighting since I was 8 years old and I’ve put in the hard work.

I think my jab is going to be the difference and a key in this fight. That and my footwork.

I had a good training camp, no distractions. J'étais concentré. I’m ready to put on a great show.

ROLANDO CHINEA
I’m a lot stronger than I was in my last fight. This is the best I’ve felt for any fight.

My nine month layoff doesn’t mean anything. It doesn’t make any difference

I’ve been stalking Kenneth for a while now and we’ve watched a lot of tape of him.

People still don’t believe in me, and I still have a chip on my shoulder. I’ve fought some experienced guys and tough guys on the ‘Aside. I’m ready to move from the ‘Bside to the ‘Aside.

I’m going to show I’m here for good. You are going to see a new Rolando Chinea demainnuit.

I’m a workhorse and at times I’m my own worst critic.

I watched a lot of boxing growing up. Felix Trinidad was my favorite.

GLENN DEZURN:

I know people are still talking about the eighth round of my last fight on ShoBox against Davila, and the crowd was going crazy, but I never focus on the crowd. I just focus what I have to do in the ring.

I’m an old-school fighter and I’ll fight anyone. We can go out in the back alley and fight.

I loved Sugar Ray Robinson and the approach he took in his fights.

But at the end of the day a lot of old-school fighters have had to just get it done, fight by fight, to keep putting food on the table.

I don’t see this as a big step up for me. I’m a pro now and I do everything like a professional. C’est un travail difficile, but that’s what it takes to become a world champion.

I’m honored to be fighting on SHOWTIME once again. I’m an entertaining fighter and I put a lot of pressure on myself.

ADAM LOPEZ:

I need to mature more as a fighter. I wasn’t as prepared for my last fight as I should have been.

I should win this fight easy. I watch the ShoBox fights I’ve been in and I’ve used different styles.

We’ve worked on everything for this fight: quickness, defense, mouvement. If he wants to bang it out I’ll be ready for whatever he brings.

I’ve busted my ass in the gym every day and I’m ready. This is where all the hard work pays off.

JOSHUA GREER

My last knockout was a KO of the year candidate. Everyone knows I’m an exciting fighter and I’m a prospect looking to make things happen.

The knockouts are addictive and it’s important to remember to stay humble and know who I am as a fighter. We’ll take them, but I’m not looking for the knockout.

We’ve worked on the mistakes we’ve made in the past and corrected all the problems we’ve seen.

The pillow is only going to come out if there is some trash talking, and I know there will be. So you’ll be sure to see the ‘Night, Nuit’ pillow.

LEROY DAVILA

Last time I fought on ShoBox I did not strategize enough like I should have.

He might bring the pillow into the ring, but it won’t make it out after the fight. He’ll be able to use it on himself.

I’ve got to take him out of his game. I have to take away his biggest weapon, his right hand.

La Nouvelle Génération: Lippe-Morrison ready for ShoBox debut

Miami, D'ACCORD (Septembre 22, 2016) – As the son of popular former heavyweight champion Tommy Morrison, Trey Lippe-Morrison’s name alone generates attention.

A quick glance at the Oklahoman’s record shows that all 11 of his victories came by knockout, 10 inside of two rounds. Those who dug deeper into Lippe-Morrison’s career will see that he’s trained by legendary Freddie Roach at Wildcard Boxing Club in Los Angeles, COMME. On the contrary, his critics note that his name alone generated the buzz rather than his knockouts and many second generation boxers didn’t meet expectations.

Vendredi evening at the Buffalo Run Casino, Lippe-Morrison looks to make his TV debut a successful one when he battles fellow unbeaten Ed “Black Magic” Latimore. The bout opens a quadrupleheader on Shobox: The New Generation and is scheduled for 6 tours. Latimore, 13-0 (7 KO), owns amateur wins over former heavyweight champion Charles Martin and 2012 US Olympian Dominic Breazeale. The Pittsburgh, PA native will be Lippe-Morrison’s toughest test to date and he believes the heavy interest in this fight will only elevate his career when he emerges victorious.

“This is a difficult fight for Trey,»A déclaré Tony Holden, Lippe-Morrison’s promoter. “Latimore is undefeated and had a good amateur background. He and his team believe this fight will opens doors for him. The interest in this fight is extremely high not just because of whom Trey is but also since there are two unbeaten American heavyweight squaring off early in their careers. The winner is definitely worthy of being considered a top up and coming heavyweight.”

Lippe-Morrison is a member of Holden Productions’ “Four State Franchise” and fought 9 de son 11 fights at the Buffalo Run Casino, a venue he’s helped sell out multiple times. With the hometown advantage and flawless start to his pro career, Lippe-Morrison knows there will be pressure on him but believes he’s ready to handle it.

“There is a little bit of added pressure,” the 26-year-old said of fighting on TV. “There are of course the people that want to see me on the same level at my father but some of it is brought on by me. My team and I believe I’m ready for this. I’ve been getting a lot better and learning every day under Freddie Roach. Freddie says I’m prepared for the step up and he has full confidence in me. Now I’ve got to go out and perform.”

The quadrupleheader airs live on Showtime at 10 PM ET and also features Ivan “The Volk” Golub against James “Keep em’ Sleepin” Stevenson, Ivan “The Beast” Baranchyk vs Zhimin Wang and Radivoje “Hot Rod” Kalajdzic taking on “Notorious” Travis Peterkin.

Lippe-Morrison to make TV debut against Latimore September 23

Tulsa, D'ACCORD (Août 27, 2016) – Heavyweight sensation Trey Lippe-Morrison makes his highly anticipated TV debut when he faces fellow unbeaten Ed Latimore as part of a quadruple header on ShoBox: La Nouvelle Génération Vendredi, Septembre 23 à 10 pm ET live from the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, D'ACCORD.

Under the watchful eye of 7-time BWAA Trainer of the Year Freddie Roach, Lippe-Morrison’s working hard daily towards his goal to become the heavyweight champion of the world like his late father Tommy.
Latimore, 13-0 (7 KO), is without question the toughest opponent of Lippe-Morrison’s career. Fighting out of the Steel City Pittsburgh, Pennsylvanie, Latimore is fresh off a Juillet 15 victory over Juan Goode. Known by his moniker “Black Magic,” Latimore is a former Pennsylvania Golden Gloves, National PAL and Ringside Champion. He also owns amateur victories over 2012 Olympian Dominic Breazeale and former IBF heavyweight kingpin Charles Martin.
"This is a definite step up for Trey but these are the kinds of opponents we need to be fighting on TV,” said Lippe-Morrison’s promoter Tony Holden. “Trey has improved his boxing ability tremendously under Freddie Roach and has dynamic power. À la fois, Latimore is here to spoil the party and was a very good amateur prior to his current run as an unbeaten professional. The fans at the Buffalo Run, where Trey is a favorite, and everybody watching on Showtime are in for exciting fight between two unbeaten heavyweights on the way up, which is a rarity these days.”
Lippe-Morrison and Latimore meet over six rounds.
Brooklyn-based Russian Ivan “The Beast” Baranchyk, 11-0 (10 KO), puts his perfect record on the line against an opponent to be named in a ten round junior welterweight bout. The card is promoted by Holden Productions in association with DiBella Entertainment and Fight Promotions Inc. Billets à partir de $35 are on sale now by logging onto http://www.stubwire.com/event/shoboxthenewgeneration/buffaloruncasino/miami/13276 or calling the Buffalo Run Box Office at 918-542-7140.

Daughter of renowned promoter Tony Holden to appear on Survivor Season 32!

Holden.jpg

Dallas, TX (Février 16, 2016) – Alecia Holden, daughter of Holden Productions founder Tony Holden and Tina Holden is a member of Survivor: Kaoh Rong – Brawn vs Brains vs Beauty 2.

The series debuts Mercredi, Février 17 à 8 PM ET sur CBS.

Raised in Tulsa, OK but based in Dallas, TX, Holden is a full time real estate agent who also models and acts. The 24-year-old grew up around boxing and built friendships with Holden Productionsfighters including former heavyweight champion Tommy Morrison, undefeated Joe Mesi and 1996 Olympian Zahir Raheem.

Self-described as an adrenaline junkie, Holden enjoys bungee jumping, shark diving, sky diving and was even once with uncaged tigers. Interested in a new challenge, Holden applied for Survivor and was quickly chosen.

In a preview for the show, host Jeff Probst referred to Alecia as one of the season’s more unpredictable players while mentioningshe came from a boxing legacy.

“When she told me about applying to be on Survivor, I had a strong feeling that she’d be selected,»A déclaré Tony Holden. “She is a fighter at heart and worked hard for everything she has. After she went to college for a year, Alecia received a work visa and trekked to Australia followed by a short stay in Indonesia, which are just two of the 16 countries she’s visited. The fact she literally took a chance by going to the other side of the world by herself and did what she had to in order to make it epitomizes what it means to be a survivor.”

To physically prepare for Survivor, Holden returned to Tulsa to train alongside Holden Productions prospect Trey Lippe-Morrison.

Holden and Morrison.jpg

Alecia Holden pictured with heavyweight Trey Lippe-Morrison

“Trey was impressed with her work ethic,” stated Tony Holden. “She was in great shape before coming back home to train but she is that serious. Alecia wanted to make sure she was as prepared as anybody out there because there are other contestants on the show that were professional athletes, bodybuilders and FBI agents. I told her that she can’t trust others there because it’s everybody for themselves on Survivor and if she had to become a villain that is just fine.”

Trey Lippe-Morrison fait la une samedi à Miami, D'ACCORD!

Miami, D'ACCORD (Janvier 22, 2016) – Heavyweight sensation Trey Lippe-Morrison will compete in his final six round contest when he faces Thomas Hawkins in the main event of a Holden Productions card at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, D'ACCORD.

Coming from the talent laden city of Houston, TX Hawkins has a 4-1 record with one win by knockout. Although he will enter demain fight as the underdog, he sees it as added motivation to spoil future plans for Lippe-Morrison.

“When nobody expects you to win, it puts all of the pressure on your opponent. I’ve seen film on Trey and he’s a tough kid. My trainer knew his father well and Trey is a straight forward fighter just like his dad. As long as I work on what we did in training, we expect to win!"

Perfect as a pro with ten wins all by knockout, Lippe-Morrison’s jaw-dropping power has drawn comparisons to his father. Currently training under the tutelage of Freddie Roach at the Wild Card Boxing Club, the popular Vinita, OK native has huge expectations in boxing circles but must first get past Hawkins.

“It feels good to be moving up from six to eight rounds if all goes as planned,"Dit-Lippe Morrison. “I don’t know much about Hawkins outside of some footage I saw on YouTube where he appeared to be a patient and smart fighter that will make you pay for mistakes. My plan is to box him and get rounds in. I never go for knockouts they just happen to come.”

“Trey is the real deal and I plan to put him in big fights within the next year,"Ledit promoteur Tony Holden. “We are going to keep stepping him up and hope to get him rounds but he continues to knock out every man in front of him. I have no doubt that Trey Lippe-Morrison is the next American heavyweight star.”

Highlighting the undercard will be Lippe-Morrison’s “Four State Franchise” stablemates in separate bouts. Along with Lippe-Morrison, the Four State Franchise has fought in front of standing room only crowds on multiple occasions.

Bartlesville, OK based welterweight Jarrett “The Legacy” Rouse will look to make it 9-0 when he squares off with Arkansas’ Juan Parra over six stanzas.

Welterweight Jesse Cook of Seneca, MO aims for his sixteenth victory but Corpus Christi, TX’s John David Charles will attempt pull off the upset and win for the second time in three bouts. Cook and Charles will do battle over six rounds.

In a six round special attraction junior middleweight bout, unbeaten Nathan Gallimore travels from Evanston, IL to put his 10-0-1 ledger on the line against 34 fight veteran Rahman Yusubov of Texas.

“The Four State Franchise continues to impress in the ring and the demand for them is unlike anything I’ve seen since I promoted Tommy Morrison,"Dit Holden. “All of these guys can fight and I look forward to seeing them in bigger bouts in the near future.”
