UNBEATEN SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT PROSPECT BLAIRTHE FLAIRCOBBS IMPROVES TO 8-0, 6 KO’S WITH TKO VICTORY

LAS VEGAS, NV (Azaroa 20, 2017) – Joan den Larunbata Prince Ranch Boxing’s super-lightweight prospect, BlairThe Flair” COBBS (7-0, 6 Kos), remained undefeated with a dominating performance against Ousmane Sylla (1-3-1, 1 KO), Gol bat 4garren round TKO. The scheduled 6-round bout took place at the at the Fitzgerald’s Casino & Hotel in Tunica, Mississippi.
“Inaugurazio kanpai aurrera, Cobbs applied a tremendous amount pressure as he walked down Sylla, forcing him to fight going backwards. Cobbs was digging to the body with vicious intent. Cobbs continued to overwhelm Sylla with an all-out attack, landing multiple power shots to the head and body in rounds two and three. Azkenik, Cobbs landed another solid right hook to the head forcing the referee to stop the bout in the fourth round, giving him the TKO victory.
Going into this fight I felt I had to get the knockout,” said Blair Cobbs. “I did exactly that by applying a lot of pressure and going to the body. After round three I knew he was wearing down, and that’s when I went for the knockout. Everything went greatnow it’s time to get back in the gym and continue grinding.
Blair Cobbs is taking advantage of all the opportunities that have come his way,” adierazi Greg Hannely, president of Prince Ranch Boxing. “I believe he has all the talent to become a world champion in the next couple of years. WORLD CLASS BOXING RETURNS TO THE RENO/SPARKS CONVENTION CENTER NOVEMBER 17TH

October 18th, RENO — Let’s Get It On Promotions and the Atlantis Casino Resort and Spa are pleased to announce an exciting night of world-class professional boxing Larunbata, azaroaren 17an, 2017 at the Reno/Sparks Convention Center. The card will be co-headlined by lightweight sensation Gabriel Flores Jr., and Reno’s own Oscar Vasquez in separate bouts.

 

The youngest-ever Top Rank Inc. signed fighter, Gabe Flores Jr. (4-0, 3Kos) is on a meteoric rise in the fight game. The Stockton, CA seventeen-year-old manages to fight as he is completing high school. For the third time he will fight in Northern Nevada, where he regularly draws hundreds from his hometown. Flores will fight in a four-round lightweight bout.

 

Reno’s own Oscar Vasquez (14-1) is coming off an impressive ten-round unanimous decision victory this August in Fallon against the tough Javier Gallo. Vasquez is currently ranked fifteenth in the world in the flyweight division by the World Boxing Organization. Vasquez will be fighting Victory Ruiz (22-7) in a ten-round fight.

 

Ricardo Lucio Galvan, also from Reno, will be making his pro debut on azaroaren 17an. Galvan, a second-year business major at UNR, is also a Dreamer. He is enrolled in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA) and hopes he can use his boxing career to bring awareness to the issue. He is an experience amateur with nearly eighty bouts. Galvan will be fighting in a four-round jr. lightweight bout.

 

Carson City’s Diego Elizondo (1-0) will be returning to the ring on azaroaren 17an after beating Chandler Clements via unanimous decision in Fallon in August. Elizondo attributes his toughness to his Basque and Mexican heritage. He will be fighting in a four-round lightweight bout.

 

Super flyweight Bruno Escalante (14-3-1) of Redwood City, CA is slated to fight in a six-round bout in Reno. Escalante is trying to get his world title run back on track after some recent bumps in the road. Born in Cebu City, Filipinetan, Escalante is one of a handful of young Filipino boxers who are carrying the torch for Pinoy boxing. Escalante will be fighting the tough Alex Rangel (17-7).

 

Rounding out the card is bantamweight Brent Venegas (3-0) Stockton, ESATERAKO. Venegas is scheduled for a four-round scrap.

Caleb Plant Big Hit at Sunrise Children’s Hospital Visit

LAS VEGAS, NV (September 1, 2017)Unbeaten super-middleweight contender (WBA #7 eta IBF #11), Caleb “Sweethands” Landare (15-0, 10 Kos), was a big hit at theSunrise Children’s Hospital in Las Vegas yesterday as he visited kids dealing with medical conditions. The visit was in honor of his daughter Alia, who passed away from an unknown medical condition at 19-months old, back in January of 2015. Oinetako Jauregia,Ringside, Munduko Boxing Kontseilua (WBC), Premier Boxing Champions (PBC), etaShowtime all donated gifts that put smiles on all the kids faces.
It was a great day for me to be visiting these kids in the hospital.” esan Caleb Landare, “Seeing all the smiles on their faces made me feel good inside. My daughter Alia and her spirit lives on and I know she’s up in heaven smiling down on me. I’m going to be making this an annual event. I want to thank the WBC, Oinetako Jauregia, Ringside, Showtime and PBC for the gifts they donated. Caleb Plant to Visit Sunrise Children’s Hospital in Honor of Daughter Alia


LAS VEGAS, NV (Abuztua 29, 2017)As he awaits his first televised bout on Showtime, taking place at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on September 8, unbeaten super-middleweight contender (WBA #7 eta IBF #11), Caleb “Sweethands” Landare (15-0, 10 Kos), is going to be giving back to the community of Las Vegas. Plant will be visiting kids at the Sunrise Children’s Hospital, Las Vegas, in honor of his daughter, Alia, who passed away in January 2015 from an unknown medical condition at 19-months-old.
The visit will take place on the pediatric units (Pediatrics and PICU) at Sunrise Children’s Hospital with 30-40 kids expected to be in attendance. “CHAPITO” VASQUEZ WINS IN FALLON RURAL RUMBLE 2017

 

 

AUGUST 14th, RENO — The Fallon Rural Rumble once again delivered a night of sensational world-class professional boxing in it’s tenth installment larunbatean Gau.

 

In his first ten-round fight, Reno native and world-ranked flyweight Oscar “Chapito” Vasquez scored an impressive unanimous decision win over Javier Gallo in the evening’s main event. Vasquez improves to 14-1.

 

In the co-main, Stockton, CA sensation Gabriel Flores Jr. scored a shutout unanimous decision win over the tough Jorge Padron of Mexico. Flores improves to 3-0 (2 Kos).

 

Carson City’s Diego Elizondo also scored a shutout UD victory over Chandler Clements in his pro debut.

 

Sacramento’s Pedro Moreno improves to 7-0 (5 Kos) with an impressive second-round TKO victory over Curtis Morton.

 

Inaugurazio bout batean, Stockton CA’s Quilisto “Kilo the Kid” Madera with a sensational second-round, one-shot KO win over Austin Marcum. Madera improves to 7-0 (4 Kos).

Vito Mielnicki, Jr.. places 2nd in the Golden Gloves Junior National Tournament in Mesquite, Nevada

Nutley, NJ (Uztailaren 31, 2017)Last week in Mesquite, Nevada. 15 year-old Vito Mielnicki, Jr.. took 2nd place in the Golden Gloves Junior National Tournament.

What made this a special feat for Mielnicki, was that he went up five weight classes for 101 pounds to 125 and narrowly lost to a split decision to the number-one ranked Luis Ybarra of Colorado.
Mielnicki is a former three-time Junior National Golden Goves champion, and was named the tournament Most Outstanding Boxer twice. Mielnicki went up in weight and fought him on the highly accomplished Ybarra on even terms.
Since the age of seven, Mielnicki has been trained by Wali Moses , who is the grandfather and trainer of 2016 Olympic Silver Medal winner Shakur Stevenson

VASQUEZ AND FLORES CO-HEADLINE TENTH ANNUAL FALLON “RURAL RUMBLE” 8/12

 

JULY 19th, RENO — The City of Fallon and Let’s Get It On Promotions are pleased to announce the tenth annual ‘Rural Rumble’. The August 12th fight card will feature Reno’s Oscar “Chapito” Vasquez (13-1), and Gabriel Flores (2-0) Stockton, ESATERAKO.

 

Oscar “Chapito” Vasquez, who was recently ranked #15 flyweight in the world by the World Boxing Organization, is coming off of a dominant unanimous decision victory over Armando Vasquez in June. He looks to further his world title campaign against veteran Javier Gallo (24-13-1) who is coming off of an impressive upset split decision victory over Jose Salgado in April. Vasquez versus Gallo is scheduled for ten rounds.

 

Boladan The, zirraragarria, and youngest-ever signed Top Rank Inc. boxer Gabriel Flores makes his return to Northern Nevada at this year’s Rural Rumble. In his professional debut on May 5th, Flores delighted the Reno fight fans by impressively knocking out Devon Jones. On June 30th, he scored his second consecutive KO over Jahaziel Vasquez in Texas. .

 

Four other bouts are scheduled for August 12th in Fallon. Carson City’s own Diego Elizondo will be making his anticipated professional debut in a four-round lightweight fight. After impressing the boxing fans in Fallon last year, undefeated Northern California favorite Pedro Moreno (6-0) returns to the 2017 Rural Rumble in a lightweight bout. Reno Jr.-flyweight, Santos Vasquez, looks to continue his third win in a row in a six-round bout. And finally, Reno bantamweight Alec McGee (2-1) looks to get back into the win column as he, gehiegi, returns to Fallon for the 2017 Rural Rumble in a four round scrap.

4TH ANNUAL NEVADA BOXING HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY MEET AND GREET; FRIDAY JULY, 29, 2016

LAS VEGAS, NV (Uztailaren 27, 2016) – The 4garren Annual Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame Ceremony kicks off Ostiral honetanUztailaren, 29, 2016, with a meet and greet at the world renowned Caesars Palace Las Vegas. The daylong event will commence from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and take place at Caesars Palace on the 3rd floor outside the Palace Ballroom in the pre function area. Boxing champions from past and present will be on hand to sign autographs and take photos with those in attendance. The event is open to the public. Charity donations, which will be donated to local boxing programs, will be accepted during the event.
Larunbatean Uztailaren, 30, 2016, eleven members of the boxing fraternity will be honored with induction into the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame. In the boxer category, Riddick Bowe, Ray Mancini, Christy Martin, Pernell Whitaker,Ricardo Lopez eta Freddie Little will be inducted, and all six have confirmed their attendance. In the non-boxer category, prestatzaile Kenny Adams, Thell Torrence eta Johnny Tocco are the honorees, and will be joined by boxing writer Tim Dahlberg eta esataria James “Smitty” Smith. Zoritxarrez, Tocco passed away in 1997, but all of the others are confirmed to be on-scene for their inductions.
