The 3-year pro is coming off a 7th round stoppage over Juan Rodriguez on 05 listopada w tym samym miejscu.
Fox is wrapping up training camp in the D.C. obszar, and he believes that Wiggins could be the toughest test of his young professional career.

“I think fighting him is the next step in my progression. I wanted to be tested, and Wiggins is a guy who has power. I am not looking to take those punches, bit if I do, I will be ready for what he has.”
Fox doesn’t have to look far for motivation, as he brother, talented middleweight Alantez Fox has a bout on February 25th for the NABF title, and the two train side by side with each other under the guidance of their trainer, who also happens to be their father, Troy Fox,
“We are both very motivated. We are there for each other. We feed off each other in the gym and it is a great motivator to train next to him every day.”
A win over Wiggins will keep Fox moving towards his short term goal for 2017.
“I am looking to get in a few more eight-round bouts, and then be able to get some some television bouts. As long as I continue to stay busy, I see that happening.”

Fox has been working hard in camp with his father/trainer Troy.
“Camp is winding down, and it has been real good. Coming off my last win, I got right back in camp. I took a week off and I all that I had to do was get in fight shape,” powiedział Fox.
When trying to scout Rodriguez, Fox was not able to get much information, but he will be ready for what the veteran has to offer.
“I could not find anything on him. I just have to go in there and be the best of me.”

“W 2017 I am looking for big things. I just want to keep winning and get some television time, but I know for that to happen, I must get past Rodriguez on November 5th. Just remember that main event Myke is coming to a boxing ring near you.”

The 26 year-old Rodriguez is an eight year professional and he won his first four fights. He has a fifth round stoppage win over previously undefeated Nathaniel Rivas (5-0).

Because he finished up school at the end of June, the 21 year-old started his training camp in Kurdistan, before heading back to the states to spar with the likes of undefeated middleweight Immanuwel Aleem, undefeated junior middleweight Jarrett Hurd and recent light heavyweight world title challenger Thomas Williams.
“This has been a long camp, but I am ready to fight,” said Ferhadi. “I started over there and I came back home to finish camp off.”
Ferhadi, who will pursue General or internal medicine when his fight days are complete, is ready for what the unknown Petty will bring.
” He is a last-minute replacement and a southpaw, But I have prepared hard and I prepared to win.”
There were several opponents that were offered the fight with Ferhadi and due to his amateur pedigree combined with the world class sparring that Ferhadi consistently gets when he is home in Maryland, he is looking to step up the competition.
“We are always looking to fight better opponents and we have no problem stepping up.”
This will be Devar’s first fight since February, where he was home from school long enough to stop Travis Davidson in one round in Roanoke, Wirginia. But between training and a heavy school load, Ferhadi is grateful for the time off from the ring.
“The time off actually helps me. It’s tough jumping from one camp right into another one, but I am ready to go and expect me to put on a show.”
Said Ferhadi’s manager, Jason Boyer, “Devar has three more years of medical school and when he is completed that, he will be come a full-time boxer. W tym momencie, he will just be about 24 lat, so I know the best boxing years have yet to come.”

Lis, along with his father/trainer Troy, doe not believable that fighting such veteran fighters is too-much, too-soon for the fighter known as “Prof.”.

Barnett is excited and honored to be headlining in front of his hometown fans against a former world title challenger.
“Everything is going great in training. Attah is a cagey veteran, who is a southpaw that fights everyone. He has gone the distance with a lot of good fighters such as “Chop Chop” Corley. He was an Olympian in 1996, but he is no threat to me,” said Barnett.
“It means a lot to me to headline at home here in Washington. I can fight in front a lot of my family and friends.”
Barnett knows that with a couple wins, a big opportunity can arise in the 140-pound division.
