Bethlehem, PA (Tachwedd 25, 2017) – Mykal Fox remained perfect by winning an eight-round unanimous decision over Manuel Reyes in the main event of a King’s Promotions promoted card this this past Dydd Mawrth night at The Sands Bethlehem Event Center.
The show was dedicated to former King’s Promotions Director of Operations Desmond Hammond, who passed away last week.
Fox o Forestville, Maryland won by scores of 80-72, 79-73 ac 78-74 i godi ei farc i 15-0. Reyes of Los Angeles is now 11-4-1.
In the exciting co-feature, Victor Vazquez took an eight-round majority decision over previously undefeated Ricardo Garcia in lightweight bout.
Vazquez scored a knockdown in round three, and two more in round eight to take the victory by scores of 77-72 ddwywaith ac 75-75.
Vazquez of Yonkers, NY is 9-3. Garcia of Santo Domingo, DR is 14-1.
Joseph Adorno remained perfect by stopping Corben Page at 2:58 of round two of their scheduled four-round super featherweight bout.
Adorno of Allentown, PA scored two knockdowns, ac mae bellach 5-0 gyda phum knockouts. Page of Springfield, OR is 5-16-1.
Juan Sanchez of Bethlehem, PA won a four-round unanimous decision over James Early in a featherweight contest.

A win over Najera and a 6th straight win will De Alba should facilitate big opportunities for De Alba in 2018.
“A win over him will have me on top and on my way. It will set me up for a big opportunity in 2018. Hopefully a win will get me a shot at one of those major regional titles and then eventually a world title. I just hope everyone comes out and support this show ar ddydd Mawrth. Everyone knows when a Puerto Rican fighter and a Mexican fighter get together, the fight usually produces fireworks and Tuesday night should be no different.”

“My training went very well. My weight came off nicely, and I had great sparring. I feel very good as I head into this fight,” Meddai Fox.
In Aguas, he is facing a battled tested foe who has fought good competition in his home country of Ecuador and in Mexico. His lone defeated came in his last bout against then-undefeated prospect Ivan Golub.
“Aguas fought against Golub, who is a known commodity. I know that Aguas has a good record and has power, and he has been 12 rowndiau, so I expect to have to fight the whole time in there.”
The King’s Promotions signee, Fox is looking forward to his maiden voyage into one of the great fight towns in Philadelphia.
“Philly is a great fight town. I know a lot of people up there like Julian Williams, Tevin Farmer and Jesse Hart. Those guys are tough, and Philly has a lot of tough fighters. I am really looking forward to fighting in front of the Philly fight crowd.”
Fox is really excited about what a win will do for him going forward.
“This win will be a a good look for me because of his record. It will show people that I can handle myself against a battle tested opponent, and hopefully it will catapult me into a ShoBox opportunity, and keep me moving in my career. I want to thank everybody who has been rooting for me and following me.”

“I have seen a few videos of him, and I know he is a southpaw. He is a good fighter, and on paper it looks like he is my toughest fight, but I can tell you for sure after the fight.”
Ever since he was an amateur, Carto has been a popular fighter, drawing large crowds, but since becoming a professional, Carto is starting to build into an attraction, where he is starting to acquire more and more fans with each fight.

Pierce had a brief amateur career going 9-2, but that due to Army duties, that was spread out over 5 flynyddoedd.
“The military opened up a lot of doors for me.”
“I have been working hard. I was in camp with (WBO Cruiserweight champion) Oleksandr Usyk and this cam has been spent with Travis Kauffman and Steve Cunningham,” said Pierce.
In Smith, Pierce has not done much studying, but he is ready for anything on Saturday night.
“I really don’t know much about him. We fought on the same card, but I really did not pay much attention to his fight.”
Despite having the undefeated record, Pierce will be fighting in the hometown of Smith, but that doesn’t faze the 30 year-old Army vet.
“I have had 5 ymladd, and I have been the opponent in all of them. I know he will have the fans there, but that doesn’t bother. I am not fighting his fans.”
“I am not too concerned by not having the fan support. When I started fighting, I did that on my own, and this is no different. I spent a little time in Maryland, but I am from Texas. Because my promoter (Hyrwyddo Brenin) is located on the East Coast, I will be fighting on the East Coast a lot, so until I can build up a fan base, this is how it will be.”
“I go about my business. I just enjoy the sport and competing.”
Because of his mindset, Pierce just goes about his training, and with success the supporters will be behind him.
“I just plan on winning and the rest will take care of itself.”
