Rigondeaux vs. Flores has officially been added to the Pay-Per-View undercard of Ward-Kovalev 2: “The Rematch” at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on Sabtu, Jun 17. Guillermo “El Chacal” Rigondeaux (17-0, 11 KOs), was one of the most celebrated amateur boxers in Cuba before defecting and making his professional debut on May 22, 2009 di Miami, Florida. High expectations had no ill effect on Rigondeaux as he tore through his next five opponents. Pada November 13, 2010, in just his seventh pro fight, Rigondeaux faced Ricardo Cordoba for the vacant interim WBA World Super Bantamweight title and left the ring with the belt after scoring a split decision victory. Moises “Chucky” Flores (25-0, 17 KOs) learned the fight game growing up in Guadalajara, Mexico, and spent the early years of his professional career building up his résumé in his home country. Now established as a title contender at 122 pound, Flores looks to climb to the top of the division with his considerable talent. Flores is exceptionally tall for his weight class, measuring in at 5 feet 9 inches. Moises Chucky Flores receives IBO belt in negotiations for Rigondeaux showdown

Last June, Flores scored an impressive unanimous decision victory over Paulus Ambunda (24-2, 10 KOs), in his home town of Windhoek, Namibia (Afrika), to earn the world title strap.
Bunga, who is also the WBA interim champion, is now the mandatory challenger to face WBA super-champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (17-0, 11 KOs). Both camps are in negotiations with the possibility of the fight happening in the next few months. If the fight comes to fruition, both the WBA and IBO world title belts will be on the line. After receiving his IBO world title belt, and a big fight looming with Rigondeaux, Flores speaks on his current situation.
“Winning the IBO world championship is a testament to my hard work and the great team around me,” said Mexico’s Moises “Chucky” Bunga. “Together we worked really hard to get this world title. I’m now the mandatory to challenge Guillermo Rigondeaux, a fight I’m looking forward to. He’s very skilled but I feel I have all the tools to defeat him. My management team is working hard to get this fight finalized. It’s time to see who the best super-bantamweight is. I going to bring that world title home to Mexico.”

WINDHOEK, NAMIBIA (Jun 12, 2016) – Last night at the Ramatex Factory in Windhoek, Namibia, Mexico’s super-bantamweight standout, Moises “Chucky” Bunga (25-0, 17 KOs) remained undefeated with a 12-round unanimous decision over hometown hero, Paulus Ambunda (24-2, 10 KOs). With the victory Flores captured the IBO championship and retained his WBA interim title.
Bunga, who hails from Guadalajara, Mexico, controlled the action from the opening round. Flores scored three knockdowns throughout the fight using superior boxing skills while applying pressure to keep Ambunda off balance. As Flores mounted a substantial lead he never looked back. Scorecards read 115-110, 115-111 dan 114-111, all in favor for Flores.
“It’s never an easy task going into someone’s hometown and getting the victory,” said Moises “Chucky” Bunga. “I had complete faith in myself, as did my team, fighting Ambunda in his hometown. We knew we had to dominate the fight to win on the judges’ kad skor. He’s a durable fighter with a lot of heart but I was not going to be denied tonight. Bethlehem, PA (September 22, 2015) – Acara utama Premier Boxing Champions pada FS1 dan FOX Sukan Mempertonton Julian Williams (21-0-1, 13 KOs) kerana dia tersingkir Luciano Cuello (35-4, 17 KOs) pada pusingan pertama pertandingan mereka. Pada satu minit tanda 33-kedua pusingan pertama Williams membuktikan terlalu banyak untuk Cuello.

CARSON, Calif. (April 18, 2015) – Confident and determined, Andrzej “The PolishPrince” Fonfara (27-3, 16 KOs) spoiled the ring return of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (48-2-1, 32 KOs) in resounding fashion Sabtu malam, flooring the former middleweight champion one time en route to a one-sided ninth-round TKO in the main event ofShowtime KEJOHANAN BOXING hidup pada Showtime.

DARI NUYS, Calif.(April 13, 2015) – Bekas juara dunia Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. mengadakan senaman media pada hari Jumaat di hadapan sebuah rumah yang penuh sesak di Ten Goose Boxing Gym di Van Nuys, Calif., sebagai superstar Mexico bersiap untuk membuatnya Showtime KEJOHANAN BOXING® debut pada Sabtu, April 18, di StubHub Pusat di Carson, Calif., hidup pada Showtime(10 petang. DAN/7 petang. PT).

 

Sekiranya utama Showtime KEJOHANAN BOXINGdoubleheader, Superstar Mexico Chavez, Jr. (48-1-1, 32 KOs) bertemu dengan pergaduhan berbahaya Andrzej Fonfara (26-3, 15 KOs) dalam 12 pusingan pertarungan kelas berat ringan.

 

Pada 10-pusingan bersama-ciri, atas 10 pesaing kelas welter peringkat rendah Amir saya (16-0, 14 KOs) akan bertujuan untuk melangkah selangkah ke peluang gelaran dunia ketika dia membuat permulaan kedua 2015 terhadap sesama penguasa Walter Castillo (25-2, 18 KOs).

“Saya sangat fokus dalam perjuangan ini. Saya telah banyak berubah dari tahun ini.

 

“Saya sedang berjuang [Andrzej] Fonfara sekarang kerana saya suka lawan besar. Saya suka cabaran untuk berjuang dengan baik, pejuang lapar. Hanya kerana Fonfara tidak mempunyai pengiktirafan nama pejuang lain, ia tidak menjadikannya pejuang yang mudah. Dia sukar.

 

“Saya berasa selesa dengan kelas berat ringan. Bila-bila masa anda boleh menambah beberapa paun, anda berasa lebih baik. Walaupun saya akan berjuang di 175, Saya berasa paling selesa di 168 sebagai peninju. Sejak saya mempunyai cuti setahun, itu adalah pilihan yang lebih baik untuk melawan berat badan ini sehingga saya dapat melihat bagaimana perasaan badan saya.
