ALEXANDER ‘STORM’ SHLEMENKO IS BACK IN BUSINESS AFTER TKO VICTORY AT ‘BELLATOR 162’ IN MEMPHIS
FULL FIGHT PHOTOS / VIDEAJ #?EFA?O
Alexander Shlemenko returns with a patented livershot TKO over Kendall Grove
Memphis (Oct. 21, 2016) – The most decorated middleweight in Bellator history, Alexander Shlemenko (54-9, 1NC) returned to the cage#?I-nokte in a big way against Kendall Bosko (23-16). The first round saw aggressive back and forth action with each fighter getting rocked. Shlemenko followed up with a barrage of strikes to “Da Spyda” before “Big John” McCarthy waved the fight off at 1:43 de la dua kadro.

Bobby Lashley (15-2) continued to live up to his nickname of “The Dominator” as he tossed his opponent, Josh Appelt (12-6) to the mat at will. Throughout the first round, Lashley jockeyed for position as he rained down punches while trying to lock in a submission in front of his friend from his days as a WWE Superstar, Jerry “The King” Lawler, who watched from his cage side seat. Appelt landed a couple strikes to start the second frame before being slammed to the mat and ultimately submitted with a one-armed rear-naked choke at 1:43 of Round 2.

NEF 26 MMA CARD FEATURES WOMEN’S FIGHTS, TITLE FIGHTS, RETURNS, DEBUTS AND MORE
Lewiston, Majno (Oktobro 21, 2016) – Novaj Angliaj Bataloj (NEF) presents its next mixed-martial-arts event, “NEF 26: SUPREMACY,” Sabate, Novembro 19 at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee. Pli frue hodiaŭ, NEF executives announced the full fight card for the event which will be the fight promotion’s grand finale for 2016.
En la #?efa evento, “La” Ryan Sanders (10-8) Renkontos Jon Lemke (5-6) in a professional lightweight bout. It will be Sanders’ first fight in Lewiston since November 2014. Much has been made of the fact that Sanders and Lemke are former teammates. The bout is considered a “dream match” by Maine fight fans, especially those from the Bangor-area familiar with the rivalry between Sanders’ camp Young’s MMA and Lemke’s camp Team Irish.
The co-main event of the evening will feature an interesting “coach vs. Trejnisto” batalo. “Shatterproof 2.0” Derek Shorey (4-7), head of the Shatterproof Combat Club, is scheduled to face Ruthless MMA & Boxing founder Josh Parker (4-8) in a professional featherweight contest. Shorey is coming off a big win in Rhode Island earlier this fall, while Parker will be returning to the MMA cage after spending the last three years competing as a boxer.
Rounding out the professional portion of the card will be undefeated prospect Aaron “Malcedema” Lacey (3-0) Kaj Taylor Trahan (6-6) in a featherweight bout. Lacey and Trahan both submitted their respective opponents at “NEF 25” Lasta monato. Trahan will be looking to play the role of spoiler while also avenging the loss of his Team Link teammate John Santos (3-5) to Lacey in Bangor this past August.
The amateur portion of the card will be headlined by a heavyweight title fight between Nick “The Guardian” Gulliver (3-0) Kaj Yorgan DeCastro (2-2).
