DANA WHITE: LOOKIN’ FOR A FIGHT CARD ANNOUNCED FOR BANGOR EVENT
Bangor, מיין (יולי 12, 2016) – Earlier today, New ענגלאַנד פייץ (נעף) announced the fight card for the promotion’s ויגוסט 5, 2016 event at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, מיין. לעצט קאַמף טשאַמפּיאָנשיפּ (ופק) President Dana White will be present at the event to scout talent for his web show דאַנאַ ווייסע: Lookin’ for a Fight. Eight professional mixed-martial-arts (ממאַ) bouts will be presented before White. Sixteen competitors will look to impress the UFC boss and earn a contract with the largest MMA promotion in the world.

Based out of Glendale, קאַליפאָרניאַ, Khashakyan is a finisher, having won seven of his last eight bouts via knockout or technical knockout. Khashakyan will be in good company on ויגוסט 5 as his opponent does not believe in letting the judges decide the winner either. Seven of Ramos’ eight wins have been finishes, including five submissions.
Maine lightweights דזשאָן לעמקע (5-5) און דזשעסי “די וויקינג” עריקסאַן (7-5) will meet in a rematch of their Bellator 93 bout from 2013. Lemke won the first battle in Lewiston via first round technical knockout. Both Erickson and Lemke have recently challenged for the NEF MMA Professional Lightweight Title. They are two of the top-ranked fighters in the state at 155-pounds.
Local, Bangor-based Young’s MMA will send no less than four competitors to the cage in hopes of winning a UFC contract. “די” Ryan Sanders (10-7), אהרן “רילענטליס” לאַסעי (1-0), קדזש עווער (1-0), און דזשאָש “Hook On” Harvey (1-0) will all be in action for the first time at the Cross.

Team Maldonado files WMMAA appeal to reassess result of June 17th Emelianenko vs. Maldonado fight in Russia

מאַנטי קאַרלאָ, מאָנאַקאָ (יולי 4, 2016) — The World Mixed Martial Arts Association (ווממאַאַ) has received an appeal from Stefano Sartori, manager of Brazilian fighter Fabio Maldonado, to reassess the result of his June 17טהfight with פעדער עמעליאַנענקאָ, which headlined Fight Nights Global 50 in Saint Petersburgh, רוסלאַנד.
Emelianenko was awarded a win by majority decision, which Team Malondado has appealed, claiming a conflict of interest because all of the judges are employed by the Russian MMA Union, of which Emelianenko serves as president.
Team Maldonado believes Maldonando should have won the decision, or the fight declared a draw at the very least, in their opinion, as the Brazilian clearly won the first round, 10-8, Emelianenko came back to take the second round, 10-9, and the third round was a toss-up.
Because Russian MMA Union vice president Radmir Gabdullin was the head judge for the aforementioned bout, Team Maldonando feels that a fair judgement regarding its appeal can be rendered only by independent, international judges reviewing the fight.
Team Maldonando has appealed the decision on grounds that there was an obvious conflict of interest in terms of the Russian MMA Union judges and their close association with Fedor, as well as the quality of decisions they rendered. Rather than appeal the decision to the Russian MMA Union, which they claimed would place Russian judges under intense pressure, Team Maldonando made the appeal directly to the WMMAA because the Russian MMA Union is a sanctioned member of the worldwide sanctioning body WMMAA.

The fights join a main and co-main event that has the MMA world abuzz, featuring the undefeated דאַרריאָן קאָלדוועל (9-0), who will meet Joe Taimanglo (22-6) in a 135-pound main event to determine the No. 1 contender for Bellator MMA’s Bantamweight Championship. Since joining Bellator MMA in 2014, the German featherweight has posted a 5-1 רעקאָרד, proving time and time again that he belongs among the division’s elite. Sanchez also enters this contest having won five of his first six bouts under the Bellator MMA banner. It’s also worth noting that Ellen’s listed on this year’s “Top-Ten Brazilian Prospects” compiled by MMAFighting.com.

HANSEN AND ANDRIKUT ON COLLISION COURSE SET FOR NEF 25

Their respective most recent wins were both against Jesse Baughman (0-2). Both are accomplished wrestlers. At some point, מייק “די מוסטאַטשע” האַנסען (4-4) און מאַט “די חיה פֿון צפֿון” אַנדריקוט(2-0) were bound to collide. That collision will take place at “נעף 25: HEROES & VILLAINS” אויף סעפּטעמבער 10, 2016 אין לעוויסטאָן. The mixed-martial-arts (ממאַ) contest is set at a fight weight of 205-pounds.
Hansen is the founder of the Berserkers MMA fight team based out of the Greater Rumford Community Center in Rumford, מיין. He was a Maine state champion wrestling out of Mountain Valley High School. Hansen dropped his last fight to Brendan Battles (1-0) בייַ “NEF 23” in Hyannis, מאַססאַטשוסעטץ. He had a chance to avenge that loss and get back on the winning track this month at “NEF 24,” but suffered a setback when his opponent fell out the morning of weigh-ins.
“This should be an exciting fight,” said Hansen. “Two good wrestlers ready to throw each other around sounds like a good time to me. This should be my last fight at 205 most likely, כאָטש. I’m heading down to 185-170 to try my luck against guys my size. Fighting these big guys sure is exciting, but it cost my body a lot. Expect nothing less than me coming ready to break him.”
Prior to his professional MMA career, Matt Andrikut wrestled for the University of Southern Maine (וסם) and also boxed as an amateur. He was a finalist in the Northern New England Golden Gloves. During his amateur MMA career, Andrikut famously defeated Pat Walsh. Walsh would later go on to compete in the UFC and World Series of Fighting at the national level. Andrikut is 2-0 in the NEF MMA cage since debuting with the promotion last year.
“I am ready to be in the cage again,” said Andrikut from his home in Reno, נעוואַדאַ. “I know Mike is a tough wrestler and possibly an even tougher striker. ‘RAMPAGE’ OWNS THE NIGHT–‘BELLATOR: DYNAMITE 2’ THRILLS FANS WITH MMA & KICKBOXING ACTION ON SPIKE

Kevin Ross Earns Unanimous Decision Victory Over Justin Houghton
In a featherweight kickboxing bout, Kevin Ross (32-9) took care of business with a unanimous decision victory (29-27, 29-27, 30-26) איבער Justin Houghton (7-3). Nicknamed “The Soul Assassin,” Ross was able to land 86% of his shots over the course of the fight, thoroughly dominating Houghton and tacking on another victory to an already historic 11-year career. MacFarlane Displays Phenomenal Ground Game En Route to Submission win Over Ruth
In the second MMA battle of the evening, Ilima-Lei MacFarlane (4-0) was able to continue her rapid ascension to the top of the women’s flyweight division and remain undefeated with an impressive rear-naked choke submission over Rebecca Ruth (6-2). MacFarlane’s remarkable ground game and jiu-jitsu skill set was on full display tonight, forcing the veteran Ruth to tap out three minutes into the second round. For Ruth, the loss is just the second of her career and first since 2014.
