Ingushetia, Rússland (Október 22, 2016) – Former two-time M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion Viktor Nemkov put himself in position for another title shot and Pavel Vitruk became the first M-1 Challenge Bantamweight Champion at last night’s entertaining M-1 Challenge 71 í Ingushetia, Rússland.

Memphis (Október. 21, 2016) – The most decorated middleweight in Bellator history, Alexander Shlemenko (54-9, 1NC) returned to the cagekvöld in a big way against Kendall Grove (23-16). The first round saw aggressive back and forth action with each fighter getting rocked. Lashley sinks in a rear-naked choke to end Appelt’s night in round two

 

Bobby Lashley (15-2) continued to live up to his nickname of “The Dominator” as he tossed his opponent, Josh Appelt (12-6) to the mat at will. Throughout the first round, Lashley jockeyed for position as he rained down punches while trying to lock in a submission in front of his friend from his days as a WWE Superstar, Jerry “The King” Lawler, who watched from his cage side seat. Appelt landed a couple strikes to start the second frame before being slammed to the mat and ultimately submitted with a one-armed rear-naked choke at 1:43 of Round 2.

 

 

 

Yamauchi finishes Couture with armbar submission just one minute into bout

The 23-year-old submission specialist Yamauchi upp (20-3) ósigur Ryan Couture (10-5) via arm bar submission just 1:01 í opnun umferð. Both fighters exchanged great combinations throughout the entirety of the first round, with Matthews even wobbling Kato halfway through the frame. but was unable to capitalize, allowing Kato to regain his composure. A break in the action because of an accidental eye poke to Matthews allowed Kato to completely recover, and when the fight continued, Kato utilized his right kick to the body-left hand to the dome combination to send Matthews to the canvas, pouncing with a flurry of punches forcing the referee to call a stop to the action at 4:58 af fyrsta ramma.

The undefeated submission specialist has emerged victorious in her first three bouts under the Scott Coker-led promotion, and finishing both Amber Tackett and Rebecca Ruth um uppgjöf. Hailing from Honolulu, Hawaii, “The Ilimanator” has secured one career knockout victory, which came just 10 seconds into her first professional bout and spread virally around the internet. MacFarlane will now direct her attention to another one of Bellator MMA’s top young female competitors, Emily Ducote.

The 23-year-old Ducote will look to add to an already impressive 2016 Herferðin, having earned victories in each of her four fights this year. Ducote’s most recent pair of wins have come under the Bellator MMA umbrella, recording back-to-back second round submission finishes over Brazilian flyweights Bruna Vargas og Kenya Miranda. Since joining the Bellator MMA fray earlier this year, Fialho has recorded first round knockout wins over Manuel Meraz and Rick Reger, proving early in his career that he belongs with the top dogs. We can be sure to see some fireworks fly when Fialho enters the cage inside WinStar World Casino & Resort in Thackerville this December.

Lewiston, Maine (Október 21, 2016) – New England Berst (NEF) presents its next mixed-martial-arts event, “NEF 26: SUPREMACY,” á laugardag, Nóvember 19 at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee. Shorey is coming off a big win in Rhode Island earlier this fall, while Parker will be returning to the MMA cage after spending the last three years competing as a boxer.

 

Rounding out the professional portion of the card will be undefeated prospect Aaron “Hörð” Lacey (3-0) og Taylor Trahan (6-6) í featherweight lota. The bouts join action-packed fights highlighted by a lightweight world title main event featuring Michael Chandler (15-3) gegn Benson Henderson (24-6). The Peoria, Illinois native has finished two of his five victims and dominated all three of his decision victories, earning each by unanimous variety. “Jetsetter” will look to use Roberts as his runway for success as the Blackzilian product hopes to couple his Bellator MMA debut triumph with yet another feat and continue his climb up the lightweight ranks. After competing professionally in Kansas, Texas, and Iowa, the trip to Connecticut will mark Banks’ first on the East Coast. ~News From The Promoters Corner~

Coming off a huge event for 559 Fights in September, we prepare for an Október. 21 return to Fresno’s Tower Theatre.

Í helstu atburði, we have Bantamweight Champion Bryce Gonzales returning from a minor injury to compete against Porterville’s Daniel Campagna.

This bout was scheduled as the main event of the #50 atburður, but injuries forced us to scrap the bout and move it to a later date.

We have several local showdowns booked for this event, including the return of Devon Chavez and two big flyweight bouts as Strawweight Champ Freddy Mendez moves up in weight to take on up-and-coming talent Paul Elizondo and Carlos Hernandez battles Jose Navarro.

We have three events left for this year.

In November we make our return to Hanford and debut at the Civic Auditorium and then close out the year in Fresno at Tower Theatre.

SANTA MONICA, CALIF (Október 18, 2016) – Bellator Kickboxing has added a trio of fantastic fights highlighted by a lightweight matchup between Kevin Ross (31-9) og Alessio Arduini (26-14-2). The MMA portion of the International event is headlined by a Middleweight World Title rematch between current champion Rafael Carvalho (13-1) og Melvin Manhoef (30-13-1, 2 NC). Fighting out of Meaux, France, the 10-time World Kickboxing Champion Ghajji will return to Italy after making his Bellator Kickboxing debut in Torino earlier this year. “Gadjetboy” became the first Bellator Kickboxing World Champion with a split decision victory over Mustapha Haida in the Inaugural Bellator Kickboxing Welterweight World Title fight at “Bellator 152.” Dating back to 2014, Ghajji has collected wins in nine of his previous 11 keppnir, including an eight-fight winning streak over a two-year stint.
